They have XS, S, M, L pho sizes and even the XS was a decent amount of food. Their broth was clean and delicious, with tender pieces of meat. Their chili oil wontons were very good and flavorful, and not too spicy. The spring rolls kept sticking to each other and falling apart, but were still very fresh and so delicious. A friend took me here on a whim for lunch on a Friday. We got there around 11:45am and there were a few tables full but plenty of space for us. They have a pretty extensive menu with fresh spring rolls, appetizers, lots of pho options, and other entrees. We opted to share the fresh tofu spring rolls and both got size medium pho. The fresh spring rolls came first and I was so hungry that I started eating them before I even thought of taking a picture. It says it comes with a peanut sauce, but it's not a typical peanut sauce like I'm used, but it was still really flavorful. There were so many size options of the pho which I thought was great, especially if you wanted to try other things. I opted for the medium but think I probably would have been fine with small while sharing the spring rolls. It was most likely the most flavorful pho broth I have ever tried. Honestly, I would go back there just for the pho broth... By the time we were leaving the place was packed, there wasn't a single open table so if you don't want to wait I'd recommend going before 12pm! First off it's clean, and tbh that's really, really a big thing to me when it comes to restaurants after getting food poisoning a while back. Anywho they have several option on the size of the Pho bowl--I know some folks want a huge bowl and that's fine, but sometimes you just don't need a 1/2 gallon of soup. The extra small bowl with side appetizers is perfect. We got the calamari, fried spring rolls and 4x #3s. All of it was excellent and staff service was spot on. Food was good the last time I came here but their customer service is AWFUL!! My friend got this spring roll bowl and it had NO SEASONING on the chicken. And the chicken also looked raw. She requested another meal because of it and they had the nerve to tell her the meal she didn't want was still going to be charged on the bill. I was very disappointed and that just threw me off ever coming here again even though I enjoyed some of their food. And I also think their "iced coffees" come out of bottles since my friend also pointed it tasted exactly like a Starbucks Frappuccino bottle from the store. Can't confirm but yeah. I think it's a pretty rude move to charge someone for a meal they did not enjoy. Such a horrible move since that shows you won't do anything to ensure customer satisfaction at all. All the food was good, but we're older and I'm always shocked by the price of things ( EVERYWHERE) I also ordered a vietnamese coffee, I expected hot coffee but received ice coffee... it was good, but it was also $6.00. Total meal was $53.00 before tip. I will go back and try the Pho, and I liked the wonton's very much and will order them again. It is a busy place and we waited about half an hour before being seated. Hype is real! Came here on Saturday at 1230 and had 4 tables ahead of us. We put our name down on the waitlist and Waited 30 mins to be seated. One of the most flavorful pho broths we had and best pho in the Folsom/EDH area by a long shot. The next closest place is probably pho cali. The portions are a little smaller than most places so I would get one size up from your regular portion. The noodles were cooked properly and not over cooked like Saigon alley. Their honey fish sauce wings were also good. Fish sauce flavor was very wild and the skin was very crispy - like an upgraded Bonchon chicken. Crab cheese wontons were terrible though so don't get those. The seating is relatively small (~50 people) so would need to come early if you don't want to wait. read more

I loved the fact that we were able to order different size bowls of Pho rather than a standard large side. The extra small was the perfect size especially when ordering additional food items. They have 12 different Pho flavors as well as 12 different flavors of fresh Springrolls. I love that they offer a Kids Noodle Soup as well as other specials like the Garlic Noodles and a Curry Beef Stew. My bestie enjoyed her chicken pho and loved that it was all white meat and plenty of it! We also tried their Vietnamese iced latte and coco green Thai tea. Our party of six arrived here the other day on a Sunday mid-morning just as the restaurant opened. We got there at 11:15 AM and they were already busy (they open at 11 AM). The restaurant is nestled in the corner of the shopping center and there was plenty of parking. Pho Momma itself is not large or small, a perfect size actually. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated, which was really nice! Lots of tables, booths and seating options. Their menu is pretty extensive with options for everyone (vegetarians, vegans, meat lovers and more). My kids ordered the XS meatball pho each (This was perfectly sized for their appetite). I ordered the number 1 Pho (size small) which includes lean beef, flank, brisket, fat brisket, tripe and tendon. I asked for extra meatballs in my pho as well. My friend ordered the pork fried rice (pretty large portion)! My husband ordered the curry vermicelli with tofu. My kids and I loved our pho orders. The broth was flavorful and delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the meat options were superb. My husband, however, did not very much enjoy his dish, he stated that he wished it was a little more flavorful. He mentioned that he thought it needed more spices and curry sauce. He noted to me that he wouldn't order that specific dish again but would try other options. The place is itself is pretty low key and there are televisions throughout the restaurant to view sports, cooking shows etc. I do have to say that the TVs are a little distracting. Pretty disappointed. We've supported this place for a long time and even referred a lot of friends here. It was my son's favorite spot for pho, so I wanted to treat the family. We ordered our usual, 3 bowls of pho, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. One bowl (my son's) came out with a hair in it. The waitress with blonde/black hair caught it right away, thank you for that. Mistakes happen. But when they brought a replacement, my son found another hair. When we told them, instead of apologizing, the staff got defensive and basically implied it wasn't theirs. The male server even suggested it could have been from us, which was insulting. When I asked again, the waitress repeated "it's not ours, I have blonde hair." Her tone made it worse is the condescending, dismissive, and as if we were at fault. No manager came over, no real apology, no effort to make it right. At that point, I didn't even want to eat. We left after I paid for everything, including the bowl my son never touched. They had a chance to talk to us, take accountability, and keep us as customers, but instead they pushed blame and let us walk out. The food here is good, which makes this even more disappointing. But respect and accountability matter, and that's what was missing. Sadly, we won't be coming back, nor will I recommend this place anymore. read more

A friend recommended this place to us and it sure did deliver!! I have officially found my new go-to restaurant for pho. We came on a Monday at noon and I was shocked at how busy it was!! The place was full and we were third on the list. It's not a huge place so I'm sure it fills up quickly. We were already there and didn't want to go somewhere else so we just waited, and finally got a table after 25 mins. It was another 20 to get our food. I'm not sure if it's always this packed but next time we will be coming when they open to beat the rush! It was worth the wait, although I wish I ordered a bigger bowl because it was so yummy! I love that they do an "extra small" size bowl which was nice because I also wanted spring rolls. I was content but next time I know that I could probably do a small size even with an appetizer. The prices are pretty reasonable considering the economy right now, although I think the spring rolls are a bit overpriced. I can pay the same amount for my favorite spring rolls at another place and get twice the amount (and more filling). I picked the #2 which had all the meats I liked! My husband upgraded to egg noodles and those actually tasted really good, but I like my pho with the regular rice noodles. The meat cooks to perfection since it comes out rare in the hot broth. For the spring rolls we chose #1 which is the most popular. I saw that it came with peanut sauce which I'm not a fan of so I asked for fish sauce, but I actually really liked the peanut sauce! It wasn't as thick like typical peanut sauce and also came out warm, so it was really tasty. I liked all the options that they had but would probably still stick with this one again! They have an extensive drink menu for a pho restaurant too! Thai green tea isn't on a lot of menus so we had to get it. We got one classic and one coco version. The coco one was too heavy on the coconut flavor so I didn't get that strong fragrant green Thai tea flavor, so next time I'd stick with the regular. Service was really great. They were super nice, and very accommodating for children. They had high chairs available, and even brought out a plate with plastic utensils, scissors to cut up the food, and a kids cup of water, which was only partially full so she could easily hold it...our server definitely knows and has kids! I was looking forward to trying Pho Momma based on the raving reviews and a couple of my friends recommending it. However, my experience when I came here for lunch missed the mark. I ordered a medium sized #1 pho, which is basically their combination pho, and I asked for no tripe. When my order arrived, it still had tripe in it. There were also two small pieces of hair in my soup! The broth itself was really good, and the rice noodles were tender. Most of the meat pieces appeared to be fat instead of meat, which is not my preference. I also wish their combination pho came with beef balls like all the other pho restaurants I've been to. On the plus side, our waitress was really nice and kept checking on us and refilling our water. Prices are competitive. I got the Small bowl which was the perfect size for me but if I had an appetite, I can definitely go for a Medium! The pho broth was cooked to perfection, not too salty which is how I like it! The fragrance of the broth let you know how good and authentic it is. As much as the food was all so good, my friends and I unfortunately did not have the best service. We waited about 45min for our bowls of pho to come to our table and at the end, the waiter swiped 1 of our cards as if we were paying all together but we gave him 2 checks with 2 cards so we were confused how he thought to charge it all on 1 card when we handed him 2? Other than that, the inside had cute decor and fair amount of seating but the space is definitely kinda small and it gets busy and packed quick to the point where the line and wait can be a while but we got lucky the day we went! I recommend going later in the day instead of during lunch to avoid a long wait. It could just be cuz of how busy they were but the server never smiled and every time she would bring a drink or food item she's call it out as to identify where to place but instead she would just place wherever on the table not even trying to serve it to the correct person even when they clearly identified themselves. They came back only once to refill waters and ask if the food was good. I got the spring roll bowl which was just ok. Their chili oil isn't spicy at all and the sauces tend to be on sugary side. I was most disappointed in their coco drinks. It was revealed they don't even use real fruit it's all syrup. Also my poor coworker got their bún bowl and it looked legit gross. It was like Chinese style gravy lemon chicken was poured on top of rice noodles. My bill by itself was $30 for my salad bowl, a regular size coco drink plus they tagged on auto gratuity. I got the medium pho with 2 protein choices (I did meatball and lean beef) and it was decent. It was a bit pricey for what you get. Being the only pho restaurant in the area lets you dictate the prices with no competition. We also got the fried rice and chicken wings. I enjoyed the chicken wings, and the fried rice was okay.
