This place is clean and spacious, staff were friendly. We ordered a spring rolls, a grilled pork sandwich, two rice plates with grilled pork, one vermicelli bowl and a bowl of Pho Tai Gan. The spring rolls and sandwich were good. However the steam rice they served were at room temperature, not hot at all. The noodle soup was not hot as well. When we eat soup and white rice, we want them hot and taste better too. The prices of the food are on the higher end. A rice plate with grilled pork costs $17.50 plus tax, almost $20! They do charge "non cash adjustment" of 3.75% if you pay your meal with credit card. I don't understand why we need to pay for that type of fees now. Passing down your cost to the customers is not a wise move. read more

Ibeen craving Pho, trued the bewly opened Pho place at Pleasanton and they didn't ddisappoint me. The place was so cozy, very clean, family was welcomed as soon as we opened the door, servers were friendly and were very accomodating. Lastly, we ordered the Dac Biet the beef noodle soup no1 and it was the first time that we were served beef bone which was separated the soup itself. OMG the broth was so flavorful, there were a lot of meat and noodles, was so good. Definitely coming back to try the other pho flavors. read more

Food: Ordered pho, ban mi and spring roll and soup was Soo flavored that no seasoning was needed. Ban mi was was flavorful and bread was so soft and didn't scrape the roof of my mouth lol. The BBQ in the ban mi was tender as well. Drinks: Milk tea and Vietnamese coffee house special. Milk tea was not too sweet or too bland. Just the perfect taste to keep a diabetic at bay. Vietnamese coffee was not bitter at all, although I should have asked for less ice because I wanted more of it and the ice took too much room in the cup. I guess it was good that there was a lot of ice because the coffee is starting to work and that mid-day slum is now feeling like I can conquer all my errands and procrastinating tasks. Service: Very attentive and when we didn't get one of our order, there was immediate service recovery. Owner was not rude at all, unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants that we have gone to. The pho noodle broth was excellent, aromatic, flavorful, and piping hot. Friendly staff was happy to provide extra bean sprouts and lime when asked. Lots of fresh basil, but no cilantro. The Grilled Pork Spring Rolls were delicious. Two biggest disappointments: 1) Shredded Pork Skin Spring Rolls consisted of a bunch of tiny pieces of chopped-up pork meat, not pork skin. 2) BBQ Pork Chop, Shredded Pork Skin, Egg Cake and Grilled Shrimp over Rice -- this $18.75 dish made me feel I got ripped off. The pork chop was super thin and super small, and the dish only came with 2 small pieces of old, dried-up shrimps that were seemingly butterflied to make the shrimps look bigger with shell-side facing up. The dry-looking egg cake looked unrecognizable and unappetizing. The overall portion of this dish is not enough to fill a hungry 14 year old, and certainly not worth $18.75. I would return for the pho and Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, but I'd avoid these two dishes. read more

I am so glad I tried this place! It is my new favorite pho place. The inside is clean and comfy and inviting. Very friendly service excited for new customers. I came here with my daughter. We got the chicken pho and shrimp rolls. Loved it!!! The rolls were fresh and delicious with a touch of mint. They are made fresh daily in house and you can tell. The pho is perfect and not oily like other places. I like to add chili sauce in my soup, and the chili at the table was not old (yes, if you go to pho often, you know what I mean!). The chili was a bright red not sitting in old oil. Love this place!!! Get the fresh shrimp rolls!! Going to back to try the vermicelli next. read more

This is going to be my new go to place for milk tea. (This review is just for their milk tea and the service I experienced.) I found the waitress to be very nice and warm (let's be honest that's not common in Asian establishments), and their milk tea was awesome. They have a bigger selection than most Vietnamese restaurants, but obviously not as big as an actual boba place. But the tea flavor was excellent, you could really taste it. It wasn't just like drinking mostly cream or milk. That also means there's way more caffeine, which I liked. And it's a good amount and cheaper than some boba places. read more

The meat was good and the vegetables were fresh unfortunately the bread was stale and broke apart in our hands. And it's the bread that makes the sandwiches and we could not finish ours. First time trying this place and very disappointed. We went for lunch on Sunday and it's not busy. There were only 3 tables of customers in there when we walked in. Took them 25 mins for our pho noodle soup to arrive after we placed the order. This is ridiculous as all they need to just assemble the ingredients into the bowl and pour hot soup in it as everything is supposed to be precooked anyway. The server didn't know how to hold and serve hot noodle soup. You should never ask your customer to pass the hot bowl of soup from one end to the other end of the table. The soup itself is super sweet (which is not supposed to be) and heavy on MSG. Don't think we will come back again as there are so many pho restaurants in the area. read more
