The wait time for waitresses attention is long. They will provide hot tea in plastic cup to start with. I ordered wine ox tail bone noodles soup and beef noodles soup. The broth is not rich as the one we usually have in Daly City. The noodles texture was really good and the beef was very tender and the size is semi bigger than other stores. Also ordered pan fried fish tofu which comes with noddles and pickled carrot and dikon. The presentation was nice and also the taste is enjoyable. The fresh squeezed lemonade is not even sour however I appreciate that they didn't overdo with sugar on the bottom. I didn't realize I didn't take the noodle bowl. The size of the bowl is huge. It has a good flavor nice sized pieces of beef. The 5 Spice chicken com dia and grilled pork pho were also very good--enough meat for both dishes. Ordering a large bowl was a mistake because it was really large and had to make an effort to finish it. The broth of the soup was very flavorful and not greasy. A local's spot with a super family friendly vibe! This is what comes to mind when I think of comfort food! Honestly cannot go wrong with the pho ga - simple, clean, full of flavor in the broth, plenty of chicken to go with the flat rice noodles. This is easily my go-to from pho recipe and it has never let me down! I decided to venture out and try their bun bo hue this time though and it also did not disappoint! Although I would have liked it a bit spicier, the flavor was delicious and I appreciate how it came with all the fixings including pork's blood, pig's feet, and tendon. The noodles were a bit bouncier than I would have liked, but this might have been because I took it to-go rather than dine-in. Also, it comes in such convenient bowls with the soup on the side which made it so easy to eat even as take-out! Of note, they are cash only! Service is also minimal given the nature of the type of restaurant, but it is to be expected. Parking is a bit tricky to find during peak hours as it's on Noriega. There are plenty of customization options to make your food as spicy or sour as you want. Somewhat small restaurant. Came on Sunday around 6 and was pleasantly surprised there was plenty of (free since it was Sunday) parking right in front. Only one other patron in the restaurant so open seating. Friend recommended this place and was happy to try a new pho place. Ordered the satay beef pho and my friend had the ox tail pho. Had a sip of my friend soup and a small of tail. Very good. Was surprised that they don't offer bean sprouts like other pho places. Their noodles are also the thin flat noodles (very soft) as opposed to the chewier/bouncy traditional pho noodles. The homemade chili was pretty good. Bowls were pretty large but also matched the price (I think $16 ish for a small) We also each ordered banh mi to go so can't comment on that just yet. They do offer a discount if you pay in cash. I actually did not look at the bill prior to putting down my credit card but I assume they adjust it after they take your payment. When I went to tip and sign, I noticed they charge for the take out containers (shows $0.70 for 2, which was what we got ) and then charge for 2 bags for each of our sandwiches....hmm... why though. Anyway, for 2 bowls of pho and 2 sandwiches, and tip, this was one pricey outing, a tad over $75. I may venture out here again but may try others options first. read more

Both of us wanted to eat rice dishes, I had a steamed chicken was very good, only if the sauce was little more stronger taste, but still good! Never going back. About a month ago my friend and I ordered 1x soup noodle & vermicelli dish & 2x glass of the 3 flavored drink. Tonight another friend & I went, ordered pretty much the same items. The soup was very salty & the most disappointing part was the 2x 3 colored drink; they came in tiny plastic cups with straw instead of the tall milkshake glass with straw & spoon as shown on the menu. I asked the lady boss why it's not the tall glass i got about a month ago. She replied 'they've always came in these plastic cups'. What a liar!!! I didn't want an debate. I paid with cc which is more than paying cash + 11% tip after tax. On the menu you can see they shoe the drinks come in thr tall milkshake glasses with straw & spoon so why would she lie about it? My friend drank his 3 flavored drink after his soup but he had difficulty with the straw, it couldn't suck up the thick contents. My friend told the waiter about it but he didn't have a solution.
