    LOL

Earlier today, we had our first visit to this location of Pho Saigon 8 and I left happy, impressed, and already talking of a return visit! (+) It's a quaint little place located on the east side of Rainbow Blvd., just a little south of the 215. They have fun decor about the place (someone here is a beer lover! lol) and it had a warm, cozy feel to it. (+) Service was very prompt and friendly. We were quickly seated just after walking through the door. Our server was very friendly and on top of things from the get-go. (+++) If this review was for the food alone, it would be a slam dunk 5 star review! I enjoyed a hearty bowl of Pho with ribeye today. Wow! That Pho was outstanding! The Pho had generous portions of tasty ribeye with a plenty of noodles too! The real star of the show here, IMO, is that broth! This was definitely the most flavorful broth I've had in a long time! We are already talking about coming back next week to try other menu items! The only, and I do mean the ONLY reason, why I can't give Pho Saigon 8 5 stars is that seating situation. More specifically, the seats and booths are wooden and metal and so uncomfortable to sit on. Still, this was a fantastic experience, and we will certainly be back! 4.5 stars.

    Tendon and rare steak

Not sure if this is under new management because customer service was quick and attentive. This place use to be a seafood boil restaurant and now their back. Ordered the pho noodles soup with tendon and rare steak and also the cold vermicelli noodles with pork and eggroll. So good! Check them out. Place is clean !! Happy eats!!

Used to eat here all the time before it was a crab boil. Glad to see it is back. Place is clean and service is fast. Spicy beef soup with the thick vermicelli is my personal favorite on days when it starts cooling down in vegas and my allergies start to act up. With so many other options, I still drive across town to eat here.

Ordered the crispy rolls for an appetizer and one veggie/tofu pho and a steak pho. Best thing was the crispy rolls. Very disappointed with the pho. I received my veggie tofu pho and when tasting the broth...literally was like hot water with a slight hint of vegetables. I added sriracha and hoisin sauce to add more flavor but it just wasn't very good. Then it just tasted like watered down flavored sauces... The beef pho broth tasted very raw meaty like... idk tonight's dinner was very mediocre.. And all the broccoli in the pho was old with brown mushy mold in all of them, very unappetizing. Not worth it and tonight's dinner was $50 +....very sad.

Been trying every Vietnamese place in my neighborhood and found pho Saigon 8. I got a pho ribeye. The soup was decently flavorful and the meat was plentiful. But the the ribeye was on the tough side and it was very cooked when it got to me. The one rare bits were the parts above the soup. Overall a good experience, but prices everywhere are definitely high now the normal size of bowl of pho plus tip and tax is ~$21.

Everything says you are open. Even got a text message that said our order would be ready at 142 am and payment was taken. Get to your venue and its closed. Please turn off your website and yelp because it still allows to order after hours.

First timer and some of the best pho I ever had. Spring roll appetizer was so tasty and the pho was packed with meat and noodles and flavorful broth! Service was excellent and food came out so quick! after working a 12 hour shift, this was the perfect spot for me !

    Noodle with completely uncooked wonton
    Matt C.

Disgusting and disappointing. Ordered 4 items togo. One of them was noodle with wontons. Someone decided to just put completely uncooked wonton on top of a bed of cooked rice noodle in the styrofoam and bag it. Are you serious??? I'm glad I didn't give this to my kid, who would probably start munching on these disgustingly raw shrimp wonton unsuspiciously. 2 stars because other food were good.

The food was fresh and service was fast. Tried the Bun grilled pork meatballs, and the Com Thil grilled pork rice plate. Both were delicious. They both came with a sweet fish and vinegar dipping sauce, which is perfect for these dishes. Will return for more. A week later.... Today we tried the Pho with tripe and Grilled Bun. Both delish and fresh, will be returning.

We got the #16 and #18 and it was great. The broth was super flavorful and the bowl kept it warm through our meal, which was nice. The egg rolls didn't taste fresh, but they were good non the less.

    Vermicelli with shrimp and pork
    Benjamin S.

This is a good pho spot to fill your craving. The pho soups are delicious and flavorful. The eggroll is crispy and goes well with the lettuce and pickled cabbage. The vermicelli shrimp was clean and pork was very tasty. Clean and good service. Will be back!

Great Pho place located in southwest at Rainbow and 215 exit! I ordered #69, which is a vermicelli bowl. It contained vermicelli, lettuce, peanuts, juicy marinated pork, two egg rolls, and other veggies. It was delicious and very tasty! My friends ordered Pho and they had no regrets. The aroma was enticing that I had to have some of their soup. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our party. They ensured we had everything that we needed! The decorations were cute and the ambiance felt cozy. It wasn't too loud or too quiet either. They have plenty of seating areas for bigger parties!

Pho here is always consistent. Not amazing, but not bad either - middle of the road. I was disappointed that their beef stew is different from the stew at the Saigon 8 location up north by Centennial. This stew was not as good and wouldn't recommend it. Quick service every time. Clean restaurant.

Shangs Noodle was one of my favorite meals that I ate while in Vegas this time around. The noodles are fresh and every dish tastes so good. Just full of flavor with every bite. The beef noodle soup was my favorite and we shared it between 5 people because we ordered a lot but I could've easily devoured that bowl on my own. The cucumber salad is some of the prettiest presentation I have seen. The presentation of every dish was so pretty and drool worthy. It's a big space with lots of seating but because of how popular it is, it gets packed. The fried rice reminds me of DTF in that it's very moist but flavorful. The dumplings were so good too in the chili oil. I'm not a dan dan noodles girl so that was my least favorite dish. I tried a little bit of it and there is definitely a kick - I don't think you can adjust the spice level so beware. The staff does warn you when you order that dish. If it's too hot and there are spots on the bench, I recommend waiting inside. You are seated next to the window where you can watch them prep the noodles.

As a self proclaimed asian food snob, I think this place falls into the jack of all trades category, since the customer demographic is wide and varied, they'd want a place that would have a little bit of everything rather than a specialty place known for one thing. We ordered the following: oriental fried rice / soy fry flat rice noodles / mixed vegetables sauteed in garlic / hainan chicken rice / roast duck noodle soup /xo green bean All of which are a good entry level dishes towards authentic asian food. Even taking into account the hike in prices by being on the strip, I think it's slightly overpriced for the wait we had to go through. Upon entering, it gives a nice upscale/casual asian cafe aesthetic going for it. The aesthetic is clean, opulent and simple.

It is located in a strip mall with an abundance of convenient parking. Inside, they had nice tables and bench seating and also had a couple of nice sized round tables with lazy Susans for larger families. We arrived around 7:30-ish and it was quiet with one or two other parties dining. Their take-out business appeared to be robust, which was a good sign that they must be doing something right with their offerings. Menu is pretty standard fair. Noodles in broth with beef shank, various dumplings, rice plates and dry noodle dishes. We started with the deep fried spring rolls which were tasty. The wrapping was very thin and delicate and had a nice crunch for each bite. There are six in an order, which is a great value. Wife ordered the Lucky Beef Noodle which has a mildly spicy broth. She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. I ordered the Beef Soup with Dumplings, which is basically what my wife ordered without the noodles. I wanted noodles added, so they were gracious and added the noodles my wife did not want to my order. The broth was flavorful and mild, not much of a kick. But the pork and cabbage dumplings included in my order were out of this world delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and its broth. I highly recommend this specific dish! If you are in search for Taiwanese food, give them a shot. Good quality, fresh food that is nicely flavored!

I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding.
