Room temperature broth? C'mon. We sliced up our condiments and put them into our pho only to then realize the cold temperature of the broth. We complained, and they 'microwaved' the entire broth condiments included. Noodles came back soft and falling apart, and the bean sprouts were not crispy/crunchy any more. Quite lame to be honest. I've seen other reviews shit on this place because of the food quality but for Culver City a pho joint--I think it's a lot better than people realize. I go here all the time with my family. We love this place. Atmosphere wise, I don't feel like I'm in Vietnam. However, it's modern and clean. Great for hangs with friends. I recommend any of the pho's but if you're like me and like spicy tings--opt for the Pho Tom Yum. Holy shit, it's flavor town in your mouth. There's also the combination pan fried noodles (get it crispy). There's something about the sauce. It's a go to every single visit. Appetizer-wise, say hello to their calamari. Sheesh, the little garlic and scallion mix they use with it is really tasty. If I'm watching what I'm eating, I skip the pho and get a charbroiled chicken place with brown rice. Super generous portion sizes and filling. The friend rice is good too. The staff is pretty great. Very nice. Be nice to them and remember to always treat people the way you want to be treated. The brisket was sliced thicker than most other places, and juicier too! Brisket bowl comes basic with onions, bamboo shoots, jalapeños, lime and some of the mint leaves. You can order some add-ons, but the brisket pho should ideally be consumed with minimal add-ons, not like Japanese ramen. Takeout. Got a vermicelli dish and a standard pho (rare steak/brisket). Pho: Not aromatic enough. And the noodles are all chopped, which isn't enjoyable or appealing to eat. Vermicelli: the fish sauce isn't exactly the blend I like - maybe not sweet enough, stronger on the fish sauce, possibly vinegar-y/lemon-y. It's alright. And again, all the noodles are messily chopped into bits -_- why? Doesn't taste the freshest either. Prices were reasonable enough for what you're getting. Overall, wouldn't come back for pho. I have been coming to Pho Show for years now. It's the place I take family every time they are in town and the place I always choose for take out or date nights. I appreciate the amazing tofu dishes and all the vegan options! My favorite things are the vegetable fried egg rolls, avocado bahn mi sandwich (not 100% vegan was butter / now mayo), ORANGE TOFU, pineapple fried rice, pad thai, the stir fry broccoli & tofu, and of course veggie ramen pho! My fave server is Dennis year after year. Although, the service can be really hit or miss it truly depends who is working that day. The female manager is the only mentionable negative experience I've had a couple times. I used to think she was just short and to the point but she's extremely rude for absolutely no reason lol. And also has forgotten certain food in our take out then will call us after, but never says sorry or offers us anything for turning around, coming in again, and returning home with cold food. I'm too scared of her to ask for anything after a time I was dining in and asked for a tofu dish (that we get sometimes 3x a week) to be corrected because it didn't come out as fried as it usually is. It was my dad's birthday and she kept coming to the table to make it a thing and talk to me about it, holding the dish in front of her face while explaining it's going to come out the same way. I politely said I'd like it remade still yes, like uhhhhh now you were just breathing all over it? Anyways- It came out deep fried and perfect as usual when it was remade. She didn't bother to come check back in or be remotely friendly about it. Only other info is that parking along the street is free for some reason!!! They have really improved now that they are under new management. The new owner reached out to me to rectify things and had asked me to give the restaurant another shot. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there when we came, but the servers still went above and beyond to help me and my friend. Landed in LA and I was looking for some good pho. Decided to come to test this restaurant out. Crab wonton was cold inside. They called it crab puff. Seem like it was microwave. Pho broth was very plain. Ask for rare steak on the side and they decided to put it inside the pho. I got rare steak and brisket pho Large. I give this place a 1/10 for the quality of their food. This spot is definitely a hole in the wall in Culver City. What I appreciate most ago if the space is that there are small tables and quite a few diners sitting by themselves - which builds a sense of camaraderie and comfort. Parking - it was fairly busy today but found street parking in the neighborhood. I had to make a couple of laps but eventually found one. Service - very speedy service. I was seated and within a minute I was asked if I was ready to order. They seemed to have regulars that stop here because I saw the same type of service and people were ready to go. I perused the menu and there seemed to be a lot of good options. I stuck to the pho and egg rolls since it's a cold day in LA. The food - the pho was delicious. I got the combo pho and the meat to noodle ratio was on point. The meat balls were large pieces, the noodles were a bit clumped together so I spent a good minute separating them, but other than those two things - it was pretty good. The spring rolls were okay. It came AFTER my pho so I wasn't able to enjoy them as much. It would have been nice to get it before the main dish. I got the Thai tea to go and that was pretty good too. I'm no pho connoisseur and to be honest, the last time I had pho was maybe 7 years ago. Pho isn't my "go to" dining option, but I will try my best to give an accurate account of our experience. Street parking can be difficult at this location, but at least parking is free at night. It was pretty busy when we got there, but it only took 15 min for us to get a table for a party of two (they do have heat lamps outside while you wait for your table). Overall the staff was friendly and attentive and the decor was nice. I got the chicken pho and I found the noodles to be well cooked and the broth to be quite delicious. I didn't care for the avocado spring rolls, but that may just be a personal preference. For the fried rice however, $10+ was a little much for the portion they gave and the overall quality of the food. Although it may be another 7 years till my next pho experience, I wouldn't mind coming back to this spot. read more

I go here all the time. Good pho place on the west side without having to go to San Gabriel. I usually stick to the basics but my fave are the pho ga (Chicken) and the brisket. I also like their other Asian dishes like the shaken beef. Their hybrid pho and tom yum chicken was surprisingly good too! It was packed of flavor and spice ! Def try it out.
