The bowl came with only a small handful of noodles, and no jalapeños and only one very small slice of lime. I also asked for the receipt and never received it. I came across this place for quick stop for lunch and this establishment did an excellent job doing so. I sat down and within less than 10 minutes of ordering I got my food! I ordered the Rare Beef pho (single meat) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The seasoning of the broth was very clean and light and I felt as if the proportions were perfect and did not make me feel like I couldn't finish it! I went to study a couple of my school notes and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My only critique would be have a little more noodles! But other than that I loved the meat and how it wasn't fully cooked (personal preference) and how fast the service was !! I honestly feel bad for this place, maybe they are struggling like a lot of business. I could see where corners are being cut. I stopped by looking for some good pho and I was not disappointed!! Ever since Bernie started getting all random with their operating hours I had to find a reliable pho spot. The pho ranges from 9-13 dollars with the one meat pho option being the cheapest. The serving size if fair (could be a little larger) and the meat portion they give is pretty average. The broth is the perfect amount of savory and meat is cooked extremely well! On top of that the server is incredibly kind I overall enjoyed my dining experience. If I compared to Bernie, I think flavor is pretty even, value is better at Bernie if you like larger sizes, service is better at pho sure. read more

By far best pho I've had in SA. Owner is super nice the decor is cute. I've also tried the vermicelli dishes here and they are great! Make sure to order the eggroll with the lettuce wrap. My husband and I come here at least once a week and it's excellent everytime. Also love that the Thai basil is grown without pesticides, they really care about the quality of the ingredients. The sandwich was a bit dry and the meat was salty. A little overpriced for the size as well. The salad on the side was good though (a sweet soy sauce dressing?) The pho was also average. The broth was sweet (which I know some people prefer), but there were a good amount of meat pieces in there. Was looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant in the area and was lucky enough to find this little spot. Walked into a local restaurant and was greeted by a very kind young lady that was running the whole front by herself. She did a fantastic job of keeping the customers taken care of in a timely manner. The egg rolls were actually flavorful and had more ingredients in them than the other places we have been to. The pho was wonderful! Huge bowl with tons of noodles. I had shrimp in mine and had to share with my other half as I couldn't eat them all! He had the pho with beef and said it was the best he's had in a long time! We both agreed if we were closer, this would be a place we would frequent. One of my favorite places to eat when I'm craving Vietnamese food. The owner informed me that they do not add msg into any food which is a plus if you're into that. Let me say that their Bo luc lac (shaking beef) is top tier and I order it every time. When you go I recommend you try their famous peach tea. It's sooo delicious! The staff is very friendly and accommodating to what you need! I ate the chicken pho with fresh shrimp summer rolls and I always get fish sauce instead of peanut sauce and let me tell you AMAZING!!! The fish sauce is perfect sorry about the stuff in it. I already dug in and then remembered to take a picture. The pho broth before even putting in any Sriracha or hoisin sauce was perfect which is key to any pho!! The seating is nice as well! Definitely give this place a try!! read more

On the recommendation of my son's barber who is next door, and Yelp, I decided to give this place a try. The pictures on the window definitely looked good, of course, but the pork chop looked especially good so I set my mind on that. Took my two sons and my son's mom and we went and tried it out. It's served with a choice of rice or bun or noodles. I got the steamed rice. Just very, ok. I also ordered the fish sauce chicken wings. They don't taste like you think. They are actually a little sweet. I'd recommend. My son ordered the combo fried rice. I tasted a bit. It was very bland. He threw some sriracha on it and rolled through it all. I would have had to heap on the soy sauce. There was nothing on the menu my 8 year old would like so I actually ended up running next door to subway for him. His mom got the pho. She also said it was nothing to write home about. So in order to not put this place on the tried it but didn't return list, I went ahead and got the pork chop. Man was it good. Good flavor. Good sear. First bite I knew I had made a dreadful mistake previously. I would have ordered two of these things. So good. I would come back for it. All in all and up and down visit that ended on the up. The waiter offered suggestions on how to eat different things so you get different flavors and was very personable. This place is in the corner of a strip center and not very noticeable but the food was pretty good. I seated myself and they brought a menu over quickly. Not a greeting of any sort. I ordered Vietnamese egg rolls which were very good. Also ordered beef combo pho without the meatballs. It came out fast but had only a few slices of brisket and three tiny pieces of tendon. No rare beef at all. The broth was flavorful enough but nothing special. A sign on the door said they were closing for a couple weeks for remodeling. Pretty pricey for just okay food. First off, the pad Thai was not bad. It was flavorful and the noodles were not over cooked but the chicken was pretty dry. The sesame chicken was very over cooked and was the color of beef. We had to take a bite to make sure we got the right dish. Though tough, it was definitely chicken. For the price, the portion of rice and chicken was very small. I also didn't care for the barely stuffed crab rangoons and the fruity sugar water that they came with. Not exactly what I would call "plum sauce". We got both the regular spring rolls along with the lemongrass tofu spring rolls. All the rolls were very loosely wrapped and the peanut sauce included with the rolls was watered down. Perhaps their pho is better than their Chinese or Thai dishes. I'll have to give them a second chance and try their pho next time. Just wish this local restaurant wasn't so pricey. read more
