The little older lady was sweet and brought my group in. Then this younger gentleman came around to serve us and was so rude. She rushed to his table and deliberately took the money. We asked the waiter if they pool their tips. He said no. She told him people don't leave tips anymore. She deliberately sent him to the back. I recently visited this restaurant for dine-in and while the food was decent, the customer service completely ruined the experience. After my meal, I simply wanted to order more food for takeout and was fully prepared to pay for it, but the staff made it into a big deal for no reason. Instead of helping me place the order, I was handed a to-go box, stared at awkwardly, and eventually spoken to disrespectfully and cursed at. My husband and I wanted Vietnamese coffee, and this spot was down the road from us. I called and placed an order for two Vietnamese coffees-- the lady who took my order was sweet and told me it would take about 10 minutes for my order to be ready for pickup, which was understandable. I was excited to get my coffee, but after my first sip, I was hit with the sweetest Vietnamese coffee I had ever had. I took another sip and could not continue to drink it. It's like they added a few tbsps of sugar to go along with the condensed milk, which is already sweet. I was so disappointed. Parking was horrible. It was the first place my mother ever took me out to eat with her before I could even eat, me in my carrier seat. It was owned/run by Miss Snow back then, and I remember every birthday, when getting to choose where I wanted my birthday dinner, picking Snows. In all those years, I've very rarely wavered from the same order. We always order the crab claws as an appetizer, which are delectable with their butter and garlic. Then, I always get the chicken lemon grass, steamed rice, and spring rolls (not your traditional spring roll, but rather cha gio, or the Vietnamese version of an egg roll. They are to die for! ) accompanied by a jasmine sweet tea. Absolutely the best meal ever. Eating at Snows has actually spoiled me, and I've found it difficult to find a place with food as good. Despite the rough exterior and the not-so-ritzy interior, the food is so worth it.
