While the pizza is very great, every time I come here it takes an hour for a pizza to be made. Doesn't matter which size or what day. It's time to expand the kitchen in this joint to push out pizza for Hendersonville. Being the best in town is a compliment, but the facility needs to meet the demands. Waited an hour in the to go line for a pizza that I ordered at 6:30, that comes to find out, was sitting in the warmer for that hour overlooked by all of the staff. Received a refund, thankfully. However, I've just arrived home to find that my order is not even correct. Very unhappy with how this evening played out. Very dissatisfied. read more

If I could give -3.14 stars, I would. Little Caesers pizza is better than this, I've had gas station pizza better than this for god sake. Frozen hard to chew crust, extremely sweet tomato sauce on the pizza, watery ranch for the almost inedible boneless wings that are outrageously priced, along with everything else. I ordered a pep pizza, had to pay 2.50 extra just for the pep on the pizza, because out of all the pizza they sell that isn't one of them unless you add it extra. I wonder if they have permission to use Einsteins picture on the pizza box. read more

I could not find good Pizza in Asheville, so I started looking in surrounding areas and came across Pi Squared on Yelp. My husband thought I was crazy for bringing us to Hendersonville just to try Pizza, but it was so worth it! I had the Detroiter and Mozzarella Bread. It was amazing! Easily some of the nicest people I've ever met and one of the absolute best pizzas I've ever eaten. They take time to explain their menu and the Detroit-style here is an absolute win. I had margherita pizza (dairy-free cheese) and my husband created his own (pepp/black olive) and both were fantastic, soft with crispy edges. Great patio and location. The pizza....amazingly delicious! I give the food 5 stars. However, the service was absolutely the worst. It was our first time there and when we walked in there were about 6 people standing around. No one knew what was going on. The young guy running the register kept walking away and seemed to be in no hurry. The line started to fill quickly and no one came to help at the registers until there were 13 people in a long line just waiting to pick up or order. We had been standing there for at least 10 mins at that point. While we waited a gentleman asked if his pizza was ready and a young teenager gave him a total eat shit look and just said I don't know and walked away. Her attitude had the crowd at the front completely taken aback. I've never seen someone so blatantly rude like that to a simple question. A more proper response for customer service would be "I'm not sure let me check for you". But nope. I really loved this pizza but I'm not sure when I'll be back given how poorly managed and run this is. read more

It was a bit further from my hotel near Asheville airport (seriously, only 15 minutes) but since almost everything near the hotel was more or less a chain restaurant, I decided to try it. What a gem. I had the Greek Town Detroit style. It was just out of this world. Friendly staff, nifty outdoor seating area. The place was packed inside (a telling clue for a Wednesday night. This is a must try. A little off the beaten track but....a MUST try! So this place is by farrrrr the BEST pizza in the Asheville/ Hendersonville area. I recently moved here from Charlotte and have been searching for GREAT pizza!! I FINALLY FOUND IT! Ordered the Detroiter, Spicy Pepperoni, and Supreme all round!! The last time we ordered a pi squared, which was OK. The tomato sauce was in the middle of the pizza which would've been great if it was all over the pizza, but the other pizzas I've had have been sooo good that they still get a 5!!! We are obsessed with this place. We have made the 30 minute drive from Asheville (food mecca) 3 times now! I have never enjoyed deep dish pizza, but this stuff is SOOOOO yummy, perfectly crispy and meaty.
