It's like having cheap ingredients with the taste of la pizza loca. It is hella generic in flavor. The employees/ or employee cuz there's only one she's actually very kind. I came across this place randomly on Postmates and noticed the pan pizzas sounded similar to Detroit style pizza so I thought I'd try it. I'm not comparing the deep dish w/Detroit style but if you're wondering how they compare, they were close. A noticeable difference was that the sides weren't as crispy and the bottom wasn't as firm. However, that didn't really change the taste all that much for me. Also, the cheese was missing that Wisconsin brick cheese touch. Again, this place never claimed it was serving "Detroit style pizza" so I can't complain. It's the closest I can get without spending a fortune at all the other Detroit style pizza places that have popped up in LA. The large stuffed crust was just good pizza plain and simple. No, it's not great like the NYC style ones downtown, but it's far from bad pizza. I'll order from here again. This would be great for a party or school/company luncheon when you're tired of all the major chains. read more

I visited here because I wanted to eat too much pizza. The other pizza store were all closed, but it was the only place open that made me feel good. I ordered a Hawaii pizza, it was so delicious. This is a small shop and there is no place to sit and eat. I bought pizza here and received bread with a coupon from Yelp. The bread was delicious because it was garlic bread. This is a small mall, so there is a parking lot. The ballet did not seem to exist. The staff was friendly too. Next, I plan to eat quadrangle pizza here. read more

RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. We ordered online 2 pizza and garlic sticks. It was ordered at 536 pm. It said in the app ready by 6:04pm. At the app it was saying Order ready come and pick it up.when we asked the pizzas they said 12 more minutes. After half an hour the pizzas were ready. Total time from order to picked them up for 2 pizza was 1 hour and some minutes. There was one cook and one cashier and unfortunately they were not able to handle the crowd and the volume. I love the DEEP dish pizza, pretty much what people call Detroit style these days, which I love. It honestly has a very similar aspects to Little Caesars, from the cheese, sauce, and garlic butter flavor it's all very similar but BETTER. The only thing I can recommend from a Detroit native that was raised on these types of pizzas, add just a little more cheese on the crust end. This type of pizza the cheese should be equally as thick all over the top, all the way to the crispy edge, you guys and many other leave a crust like you would have on a normal pizza, Detroit style the crust is the crispy edge, not the top. I find this to be a reoccurring problem in LA with Detroit style pizzas, the cheese isn't layered enough to the edges. Fix that and you have a real winner. I definitely recommend for anyone that wants to get away from all the generic over priced wanna be NY or Napoleon style pizzas flooded all over LA, and try something different. A few years ago I use to go here to get the cheap one topping pizza here but this time I got the supreme thin crust and it wasn't good to be honest. I'm also rating base on what you get for the price. I got a large thin crust supreme and it cost around 18 bucks. For 18-20 dollars you can get a large at Whole Foods that is bigger and also taste better (it's almost twice the size of the one at piara pizza.) This pizza should be tops 12 dollars. For 18 dollars I would expect it to be Pizza Hut level type pizza. Honestly the quality of the pizza is comparable to frozen pizza you get at the grocery store. I regularly stop by at this location for their no-frills, wholesome, good-tasting pizza. I was always fully satisfied, except today. I ordered Hawaiian pizza, and the pizza had very little amount of tomato sauce (almost none) from the center to half of the diameter and no tomato sauce on the other half. Since I was eating in the car, I immediately went back in. After showing the no tomato sauce pizza to the worker, instead of getting another pizza made, I just asked for a small cup of tomato sauce (dipping sauce). In the car, I ran out of the sauce when I finished half of the pizza. When I went back in for another sauce, the 2nd worker insisted on charging me, saying that there is no problem with the pizza. I showed that the pizza had no tomato sauce but the worker kept insisting that that is how Piara Pizza makes the pizza. I have been getting the same pizza at this same location for over 5 years and never had this problem before. IF there was a trashcan nearby, I would have dumped the remaining pizza, but unfortunately, there was no trashcan. read more

Best Pizza bargain! Like everyone these days, I feel so broke that I pretty much decided to almost never eat out for a looooong time...until this place opened a couple weeks ago. I live a block away and have the choice of 3 places for $5 pizza: Little Caesars, Mama and Papa's New York Pizza, and Pronto Pizza. Hands down I love Pronto Pizza. This place is everything I require from a cheap pizza: fast, extra tasty, great texture, not nasty when it cools off. I mean, part of the fun is pizza in the morning, so if my pizza doesn't last 'til then, I feel robbed. I like my pizza fluffy in texture with delightful, delicate crispiness. I'm thinking that the crispness is from a little oil, but I do not care. I'm a crust fan. I order the pepperoni a lot, and the cheese is good, but my friend got me a mushroom and bacon and I liked it too. No super grease all over it either! The other places' pizza has that cheapness in quality that makes you wish you could afford better pizza. The stuff at Pronto makes you feel like a smart customer. A large 1-topping pizza for $5 was enough to draw me in but seriously plus bread sticks and a 2 liter for $9.90($8.99 + tax with coupon from website) is just awesome. You really can't complain much with a bargain like that, and the few times I've gone to pick up the pizza, the staff was more than friendly and the food was piping hot! And the big tub of tomato sauce for the bread sticks and a handful of red pepper flakes was enough for me to make an account to review this place. Come on people, for such a bargain and expecting some fancy pizza is beyond common sense. But even then the pizza isn't half bad!
