We got the Fritto Misto, Ravioli, Ragu w/ Radiatorre Noodles, the Grilled New York, and the Cioppino. The Fritto Misto was awesome. I loved the lemon pieces. The Ravioli here was the wettest ravioli I've ever had, but that didn't bother me and the flavor good. The Ragu w/ Radiatorre Noodles were OK to me but my table seemed to really enjoy it. The Grilled New York was solid. The Cioppino was good but we had actually called ahead to see if we could substitute the clams and they had told us that the chefs could do so. I've been here once before ages ago, and it was just like I remembered. Originally, I had a reservation at a nearby restaurant, but it wasn't until we arrived that we found out they don't allow reservations for their happy hour, so we walked over to Piatti since it was a nice place. We were able to be seated right away without a reservation on a Thursday night and while it wasn't super busy, there were still plenty of people there inside and outside. I was disappointed that they only offered an Impossible meat version of their lasagna. How do they not offer a real meat version of such an Italian classic?! I settled for the meatballs and they did not disappoint. My friend ordered the roasted chicken dinner and thoroughly enjoyed that too. They seem to have a decent wine list, although only a couple options from each section were available by the glass. The restaurant was clean and well air conditioned when we arrived and I have to say they have a lot of space. The tables aren't packed together like a lot of places. Their happy hour does end at 5p, so keep that in mind. read more

Yesterday we had a moms night out. The five of us were so excited. We had a reservation for 4 and asked for another to join. The lady on the phone said she couldn't make it work. Went here to conduct a lunch business meeting and the meal was extremely disappointing. The Bucatini was very good and tasty I rate it a 4. The ambiance and the service was good rate it a 4. The risotto was extremely undercooked, felt like I was eating bullets. I would have sent it back however did not want to distract from the business at hand. We started out ordering drinks and I tried the Paloma Italiana which was so refreshing and not too sweet. I love the smokiness from the Mezcal, so it was perfect. We ordered the beef carpaccio and Brussel pouts for appetizers which were both extremely tasty! We ordered ciopinno and a couple of the pasta dishes which were delicious! The only thing I wished was that the ciopinno was soupy whereas, it is more of a thicker sauce consistency but it was packed full of seafood! I would highly recommend coming here. The alcoholic drinks were pretty good. My Old Fashion was on point: 1 large ice cube, with bitters and bourbon topped with an orange zest. The ambiance was 10 out of 10 and would do it again. Not sure I understand high reviews. We've been once at the restaurant and service was slow and our server Kayla was not attentive at all. Our waitress asked if we wanted bread and dipping oil for the table we said yes, not realizing we had to pay for it since she asked. We thought it was complimentary. We order lemon with sausages pizza. When they brought the pizza I was surprise how horrible it was. There was 1 inch of cheese and somewhere 2 smallest cubes of sausage. The peach burrata was incredibly delicious and the perfect summer app. The carpaccio was actually one of the best I've had in my life and was bursting with flavor. Obsessed. Gor the radiatore pasta and it was a v well done red sauce. Great wine selection and I loved their sangria. The service was incredible and so present. Then I go for the radiatore and I was so excited !! Looked amazing. Second impression is that it smelled like canned ravioli. Took three bites ... and I'm sad to say I'm not impressed with this one ether !!! I'm so sad right now. I hate spending this much on being lazy. A not being able to even really enjoy my food... so now I try the last thing I ordered the ravioli..looks good tasted okay I'm not super happy with it but it was the best of all three SURPRISINGLY . This was a great spot for an outdoor lunch with good company even though it was in the middle of our fire season. Ashes were kind of raining on us, but that didn't stop us or the others. Dip in the sauce and take a small bite of it, it'll take you by surprise. Just make sure it's thin and crispy. Since it was our first time here, we wanted to try everything. We ordered the Cast Iron King Salmon. Arugula fettucine (lunch portion), and the papperdelle. Arugula fettucine - it was a very light dish with a small kick of spicy. Shrimp was fantastic. Cast Iron King Salmon - best dish out of all. Can't go wrong with it, just wish the skin was more crispy Papperdelle - one of the most popular dishes and handmade pasta! It's a heavy dish, so unless you can handle it, share it with a friend or two. Very flavorful and tender, but it got too salty for me after 2-3 bites. Came here for a large group dinner and the staff was exceptional! The food was also delicious, especially their bread pudding with the whiskey caramel sauce. The menu selection was nice, there was something for everyone. As a table we shared the cured meats and cheese plate, fried brussels sprouts, and a broccoli rabe pizza, all of which were solid. I typically don't like brussels sprouts but enjoyed the way these were prepared, definitely not too bitter! For dinner, I got the campanelle pasta, my wife got the cioppino, and the kiddo got the mac and cheese off the kids menu. We asked for a table, but they said reservations were required, but we could eat at the bar, or outside. Fair enough. It was hot out, so we ate at the bar. It's less a restaurant with a bar, than a bar with a restaurant. That said, the bar and the food are good. The service was engaged with the customers, and the overall experience was great, if not what we expected.
