I understand that this may not be your grandmas BBQ, but all things considered, it wasn't a bad meal. Anyone who flies often knows that food options at airports are limited.

Yuengling beer on draft. Extra cold.

My husband and I came here excited to try some authentic Tennessee BBQ and everything was honestly so good. I got the brisket with baked beans and mac & cheese, while my husband got the chicken with green beans and baked beans. First off... the brisket was SO tender and juicy. It paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce and those baked beans? OH MY GOD. The baked beans were seriously the star of the meal for me.. sweet, smoky, flavorful, and completely addicting. I could've eaten a whole bowl by myself The mac & cheese was also creamy and delicious, just solid comfort food all around. My husband loved his chicken too. Super juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all which is always a win with BBQ chicken. I also tried the Tennessee Sour and let me just say... they do not play around with drinks out here It was really good, but one more and I probably would've been done for the night lol. The hospitality here was amazing. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we'd come back to anytime we're in Nashville again. Thank you for such a great first BBQ experience in Tennessee! :)

I had a taste for brisket, but wasn't sure of either option available. I pulled the trigger on Edley's and it said the restaurant was closed. Bummer. I continued to look and went back to my cart to remove Edley's and just figured I'd try anyway. The order went through - Salad with Smoked Brisket. What was I doing ordering brisket AND a salad at closing time. My expectations were low. I watched the app as they prepared the order (quickly) and the driver (also quickly) arrived to pick it up. Upon opening the bag, I expected the worse of all things. Closing time, a BBQ restaurant that I've never eaten at and salad. Not exactly the recipe for success. The salad was one of the best salads that I've ever had - fresh, select greens, firm veggies, delicious croutons.. I thought "ok, at least the salad is good, if the brisket isn't ". I opened the foil to find 2 nicely sized slices of brisket. I couldn't help but to notice how subtle but effective the smoke profile was. The more of it I ate, the more I could tell that it was smoky and tender and just flat out solid! My expectations were greatly exceeded. I even reached out to a manager (I don't remember the gentleman's name) to tell him of the great job his closing staff did on preparing the salad and the brisket. When I return to Nashville, I expected to dine Inside. Excellent!!

The sides were kind of meh. The green beans tasted like they were from a can and I think the noodles for my Mac and cheese were too firm. But it was still good. I'd go again just get different sides. Oh and the banana pudding was great!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.
