Terrible service, always putting completely different sauces instead of what customers want, they lose customers like this.

Luigi puts his heart into…read moreevery dish, making everything from scratch just like my grandmother used to--from fresh homemade pasta and rich, flavorful sauces to incredible focaccia and one of the best tiramisù I've had outside of Italy. Every pasta dish is cooked perfectly al dente, exactly as it should be, and so delicious that you'll already be planning your next visit before you've finished your meal. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail truly set this place apart. What makes the experience even more special is Luigi himself. He's always there, welcoming guests, making recommendations, and ensuring everyone feels at home. His passion, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are evident in every aspect of the restaurant. The outdoor seating is charming, they also offer catering for private events, and whether you're planning a romantic dinner, celebrating with friends, or simply craving real Italian food, you won't be disappointed. This hidden gem delivers a true Italian dining experience--no passport or plane ticket required. If you want to impress someone (or simply be impressed yourself), don't miss this place. Highly recommended!

It's counter service, so I placed my ordered for their Tagliatelle the Butcher and sat down on one of a handful of tables. My pasta was cooked al dente and had a good chew. The thick noodles did a nice job of soaking up the Wagyu bolognese. The chef won a Michelin star at a previous restaurant and the food quality shows. In addition to pasta, they have Sicilian-style pizzas and pastries in the case. You can also buy their housemade pasta and sauces separately. The seems like it's is a mostly focused on takeout, but it's pleasant enough to dine in. Wish I still lived in the area so I could make this one of my regular places! Metered street parking and parking on the residential streets (check the signs).

Luckily our group had about 6-8 people so we were able to try quite a bit of the food. Glapponese - Ground pork, garlic, bacon, soy sauce for pasta. Very strong umami in this. It's for when you'd like a simple pasta with meat and nothing too overpowering. Tarako - Cod roe and nori. This is another simple pasta when you'd like something with a strong salty flavor but want to mostly enjoy the texture of the pasta, which was soft and chewy btw. If you want a familiar Japanese flavor, this is the one to order Carbonara - A very familiar pasta in case you want to stay on the safe side. They still make it very delicious and creamy if you're in a simple mood for an Italian style pasta Keema Curry - This is where you start going for a more complex taste for your pasta. If you can't decide if you want an Italian or Japanese pasta, combine the tastes with pasta in curry Service I feel can be a bit more attentive. When they sat 6 of us down first, there were only 5 settings, so it seemed pretty natural to bring us a sixth set of utensils. But when we realized they missed it, we ended asked them. Not a big deal. But when our remaining two friends came, they sat them with us and brought out only 1 set of utensils, so we had to ask for it again. Just a small detail that had me a bit confused during the experience, but the food itself was great and we'd love to come back when they reopen

I have been a loyal customer of New York Bagel & Deli for years. Their affordable breakfast combo…read moredeal was tough to beat - $9.80 for a meat/egg/cheese toasted bagel sandwich that comes with a hash brown and a small coffee. Sometimes the assembly was sloppier than other times, sometimes the bagels weren't consistently baked well, but for the most part, it's a bunch of nice friendly guys who make the food really well and they easily got 1-2 visits out of me weekly. Things have slowly been doing downhill for the last year or so. First, there was the temporary egg surcharge that quietly stuck around after the shortage ended. But things have taken a much sharper turn downhill since the longtime owner handed it off to a pair of local "entrepreneurs." These clowns think they've preserved the vibe of the place but they have done a LOT of brand damage in a very short amount of time and it turned me off big-time. Straight away there was an across-the-board price increase in addition to the preserved egg shortage surcharge. My $9.80 breakfast combo has almost doubled in price to just under $17. That is no longer a good deal; it's the same unaffordable ripoff that every other place has had to do. But the real vibe killer has been the shift around the new owner's prerogatives. One of the new owners claims to be a professional designer, but one of the first things she did was slap a tacky AI generated slop logo all over every square inch of the place. That alone is enough to make me say goodbye. They also claim to be bakers by specialty, but all the bakery goods are dry and bland now - much worse than they used to be. The tackiest decision has been to replace things that weren't broken - the signage - with shittily formatted, constantly slideshowing digital layouts with bad line breaks; believe me when I say the whole thing is a formatting nightmare. If you're a designer, is this your best work? Is this how you attract clients? Because the UX is dogshit and I would prefer you just print a new laminated sign. The main agenda of that though is to play a 3 minute loop on repeat pushing the "baker"'s recipe book. NYBD has always had a lot of weird stuff that gets introduced for a bit and then cycled out, just based on the owner having relationships with other folks or whatever. Someone's hot sauce, maybe a church pamphlet, stuff like that. But the heavy-handed agenda shift towards the brand of this entrepreneurial couple WITH BAD TASTE is blocking out the sun. Combine that with the prices going up 200% and I'm out. I love the boys that work there but unfortunately they're not gonna be seeing me anymore. I'm actively looking for a replacement - if anyone has a local bagel haunt they like to get their breakfast at, please let me know. Thanks!

Yes, it's called That Pizza Place…read more Yes, the pizza is delicious. But let me tell you...the rosemary chicken sandwich is the real reason I keep coming back. I'm not exaggerating when I say it is one of the most flavorful, perfectly balanced sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken is tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, the rosemary is fragrant without being overpowering, and the whole thing comes together in this unbelievable, crave-worthy way. I think about it way more than I care to admit. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and it's the kind of spot that feels like a local favorite because it absolutely is. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. And if you think you're just coming for pizza...trust me. Order the rosemary chicken sandwich. You'll understand exactly why I'm obsessed.

Upon arrival at least 7 minutes after placing order, I entered and asked that they put wonton strips on the side. The gentleman helping me points at the rolled up paper bag on the counter and says the order is already ready. Following that I grabbed the bag to inspect my salad at first sight I was immediately surprised to see so many rice noodles all over the top of the salad. I hadn't remembered that this is an ingredient included. I never get this ingredient. The gentleman helping me responds to my disgust by saying "well you read the menu before ordering." While holding a very different & more detailed & descriptive menu :/ excuse me,?! that wasn't needed and only made a displeasing exchange worse because I had not ordered from the detailed menu. This is why it's hard to give my hard earned money to this business. My employer used to buy at least three pizzas every two weeks. If not more. NOW: I will not suggest again. I used to love getting Caesar & Chinese chicken salads THEY ARE REALLY GOOD, I MUST SAY.. Simply salads delivers not the end of the world. ;) as I've stated ITS THE SERVICE WHEN YOU DON'T SEE THEE OWNER AROUND. IT'S SAD BECAUSE THEY HAVE A GREAT MENU!
