Definitely not my favorite place for Mediterranean food, but it'll get the job done to satisfy any cravings. I've had some issues the couple of times I've been here: 1. I always end up leaving with something missing from my order. The first time I asked for extra garlic sauce and low and behold there's none in the bag. The second time I visited I asked for extra pita and once again, come home and none in the bag. The third time I visited I asked for extra garlic sauce and learning from my previous mistakes, checked the bag before I left and once again, it wasn't in there. I don't mind if this sort of thing happens occasionally, but it's a small annoyance if it happens every time. 2. I usually order the chicken pita wrap and the pita is super thin. Halfway through eating it expect to pick up a fork because this wrap will fall apart on you. Not a big deal, but I prefer thicker pita bread. 3. It's a hit or miss if the food is dry or not. I've had wraps from here that were juicy throughout and tasty. On the other spectrum, I've had wraps that were extremely dry and left me picking at it wishing I'd gone somewhere else. I will say that the staff has always been very nice and it never takes too long for the place to prepare your food. I wish I could give it more stars... maybe with improved consistency I'll reconsider. Lots of great veggie selections from a variety of salads, falafel, hummus, roasted potatoes, eggplant, artichokes, rice, and so much more! To me that is the most refreshing thing on the menu. I've been on a bit of Mediterranean kick lately, so I hit up this spot almost once a week for lunch. My go tos are usually the kefka kabob plate if I'm ordering to-go via phone (this takes about 10-15 minutes as they make it fresh) or the gyro plate if I'm dining in because it's faster. I usually like to sub out the green salad for tabouleh because I love the parsley in that salad which can be hit or miss - sometimes it's a bit salty and other times it's good. I've tried the chicken schwarma plate as well, but I found it to be too dry for my tastes, so I usually stick to the dark meats so I don't have to deal with that. The garlic sauce while delicious, is sorta like a garlick-y mayo. The rice is always nice and fluffy too. The price is a bit spendy here for what it is. Each plate is upwards of 10 dollars which in my eyes are sit-down Mediterranean prices as it costs just about the same. Best thing had to be the salad, minus the fact that it was pretty soggy. Chicken was flavorful, but SO dry i actually choked a couple times trying to swallow the chicken. The rice, oh my, I was really expecting something fluffy and flavorful. Instead it tasted like one of those Uncle Ben's just add water packets, i had a slight flashback of eating while camping. This place was okay. I ordered Shish kebab plate. Even though I asked medium for beef, they cooked well done. It took almost 20 minutes for food to arrive and I had to send it back, so it took at least 30 minutes for food that I wanted to eat. The plate came with salad, hummus, pita bread, and rice (I substituted with kale salad). Hummus was too salty and salad was too saggy. I wouldn't go back. read more

I'm am so excited that this new amazing pita grill is so close to me! I could rant and rave for literally days about the garlic sauce alone. Also, they're not stingy with it when you ask for extra like some other places that act as if it's made of pure gold. The kabobs are made to order and are THE way to go. The chicken and steak are marinated in the essence of magic and every other side dish here has been superb. The tabbouleh is flavorful and the side Greek salad is my go to replacement for the garden salad that comes with the kabobs. The chicken kabob was flavored great, but the rest of the plate was not impressive. The "sauce" that came with it was mayo mixed with olive oil - i don't even know how that is considered a sauce, it was horrible. The pita wasn't very think, but very thin like a tortilla. And the rice was very, very dry and had peas and corn mixed in (not a fan of peas, I have never had peas in Mediterranean rice before) I probably won't be coming back. This place is still relatively new to the neighborhood and it's located between the 57 and 5 freeways on the south side of Chapman Ave. It was a parking lot attached to several other businesses, and I have yet to have an issue parking. Its very clean and I have yet to see it packed, but it gets busy. Priced right compared to similar places I've been. The guys working the register are friendly and helpful. Seating is simple and leans toward the "modern" side. There is no designated waiting spot for takeout so you kind of feel like you're "in the way", if you even care. We have had the original gyro combo several times. The sides are decent. The rice is my choice and it has been pretty consistent, maybe a tad bland. The fries are under done for me, I like some of them to be pretty crispy. The Gyro itself is good. They use the more "traditional" pita which is very thin. I have had them totally fall apart on me and a few they have held up well. They do a good job of getting a nice amount of meat inside but the veggies are cut a little too big for such a thin pita. The hummus, for me totally missed the mark. The plain came with nothing on top, it was too thick and lacked any real pop in flavor. And single thin pita tagged along for the hummus ride. Need more pita! The Baklava was good. I have no true comparison but its mildly sweet, nutty and flaky. I was bummed it was gone when we picked up dinner up at 8:30PM. Very surprised with this place. Most of the reviews mentioned how pricey it was, but I got two plates (Chicken Shwarma and Gyro) for just under $20 bucks and both plates were big enough for a second meal the next day (the Gyro still has meat left!). I thought the flavoring on the chicken was fantastic, but it was slightly dry due to them only using breast meat. In the end, I just made sure to use enough garlic sauce and it was perfect. I wish they gave you more pita, so in the future maybe I'll add on a few. Really looking forward to coming back to try all the salads. read more
