Kept hearing about how great the food is here at pita jungle, so I decided to try it out in my lunch break! Very fresh and clean when you walk in, hostess are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I ordered the original gyro with fries and an ice tea! Omg that TEA is amazing!! I love tea and this is one it my favorites!! Unfortunately the good was less then great, I got it to go as I said I was on my lunch break. I get back and as soon as I opened my wrap I noticed the meat was burnt, like very crispy burnt not just a little here and there! I had to pull most of the lettuce out because it looked wilted/slimy maybe like it was almost on its way out and not very fresh at all, there was not enough sauce on it to make it have a nice flavor. It was unappetizing. I'm sure they normally aren't like this but that was my experience and I was very disappointed.

We came here for my dad's 77 bday! It was the middle of the day and we had a very large party. All of our meals were really good, the wait staff did a fantastic job, and were super friendly. The only issue we had is they had a drink menu out and no bartender! We'll be back.

Worst experience at this location with our to go order today. Over 8 dollars for this order of hummus that was like a spoonful. Our wraps had probably 5 small pieces of chicken when normally they are completely filled with chicken. My son's kids meal had 2 tiny pieces of chicken when normally it is filled, and his pita crisp was burnt so he wouldn't eat it. Very frustrating paying 50 bucks for a meal and everyone was still hungry after. Not sure what's going on with this location but very frustrating with this service.

My friend and I got the wood fired salmon that comes with spinach and mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. Not sure what seasonings they put on top of the fish but it was delicious and not to much to overpower the taste of the salmon. We ordered it to go and picking up was super easy and quick. They had it ready in couple mins when I arrived. Staff was nice and friendly. My to go order had plenty of napkins, utensils and extra salt and pepper even. Everything was taken care of.

Looking for something on the healthy side and options that won't break the bank? This is a good option. While part of a local chain, you will not feel like a number when you walk through the door on Southern Ave. Great staff, amazing service, lovely open atmosphere

Consistently bad service at this restaurant. Other Pita Jungle locations are much friendlier and more accommodating.

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

Both were really good but had a bit of a kick. For my entree I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce was so good. Lastly, I got the miso cheesecake for dessert and the flavors were incredible! I love the animal and jungle themed decor in this upscale restaurant. We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!

The energy is always on point and the live music just takes the whole experience up another level. The tinga tostadas were absolutely amazing. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The wine selection is superb, with enough variety to keep things interesting every time we come in. I do wish they had a few more steak options, but the New York is not an easy cut to get right and they nailed it. Cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. Kennedy took great care of us and made the experience even better. Liam, the busboy, was such a sweetheart and very attentive. You can tell the team works well together. It does get busy, especially with the live music, so definitely make a reservation. Such a fun spot for a night out with great food, great wine, and an even better atmosphere.

If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Also the chairs we were on had a weird slope that makes you slide out of them. Fix these and easily a 5 star rating.

We decided to split the Meatball (a new addition on the menu just this week) and the Italian Grinder (one of our fave's) and it was worth it. We knew we would take the other halves home for a dinner snack, so we had a less overloaded lunch today. Casey again was our server, and he saw use getting seated and brought over a bottle of their sparkling wine (they do a deal for $20 or $25) which we enjoy, as we got it last time also. The bottle overflowed significantly on opening so there was a bit of loss unfortunately - however, Casey came back later during our lunch when we had finally finished the bottle and topped us off from the lost portion of the previous bottle - a very kind gesture and certainly was not expected. But he said he wanted to do right. A good man right there. The food as usual, was fantastic - service is exceptional and the ambiance very good - def not a loud place, but certainly has the potential, as there are glass windows behind the bar area so if you have loud talkers at the bar, it bounces back at you - most noticeable if you're sitting at the community table in the middle - the booths are much more protected further back. We have sat at the same seats at the community bar each time we have been there, but it's pretty good and the noise isn't generally a concern - might be later in the evening/night when there is a fuller bar area - we usually are there for a mid-afternoon lunch so it's not so bad. Do yourself a favour and also try the Desert Bloom cocktail - its very good! So, until next time!

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion.
