Story time. I grew up in Clarkston, and we came here allllll the time. For lunch, dinner, afternoon snacks, anything. My mom also had Pita Way catered for lots of parties. The entire staff and owner knew my family well. Then, we moved to a different state. About a year after moving, my mom was back in town and stopped by her old favorite restaurant. As soon as she walked in the door, the owner (or maybe manager) saw her and said "Miss Heidi! Where have you been?! We miss you!" Anyways, if that doesn't tell you how integral Pita Way is to my family, nothing will. I've never found a spot quite as good for quick service pita sandwiches in the 10 years since we moved away. I was recently back in town and happy to see Pita Way going strong! Check it out if you haven't already, and prepare to be hooked.

First time visit, and I've already talked the place up to everyone I know!! The waitstaff were super patient and helpful with my one million questions; really appreciate the gentleman making my food for his recommendation that I should try the tourshi (pickled cabbage) and the pickled turnips--YUM!! I had a Pita Way Bowl (base, protein, customized veggies n stuff!) I had yellow rice for my base e crispy chicken for my protein; top that with tourshi, pickled turnips, tomatoes, Mild pepper rings, hummus, garlic, and the house dressing. In heaven!!! Cannot wait to go back and try all the other items!!!

Over priced for the portions. Food is fresh. I'm not disappointed there, very surprising on the lack of flavor. I order a one piece of baklava, which cost me $2.49 - what a joke, not worth it! Not very good either. Check out the picture on how tiny this piece is, barely bite, size I will think twice about ordering from here again - there are other places that will deliver. I thought I'd give this place a chance because it's close to me. However, I can go elsewhere have a delivery from elsewhere and get tastier, larger portions and more options for your money, by far! By the way... they don't even have baba ghanouj!

This place serves fresh Mediterranean food just the way you want it. You decide if you want a sandwich (pita), a bowl with rice or a salad. From there, the sky is the limit! Add in your favorite protein, throw in all the veggies you want and top with dressings or sauces. The portion sizes are generous so you definitely won't be left hungry! The baklava is heavenly. Their garlic sauce (ordered as a side with some fresh pita bread) is a bit creamier than most with a hint of lemon; different, but delicious. Once boating season starts, I guarantee this will be one of our go-to places for healthy meals we can pack to enjoy on the lake.

I've been ordering from here since the beginning. Beck when it was the only Pita Way. I was incredibly disappointed when I received my order of 3 small sides. Hummus, Garlic Sauce and Tabbouleh. For $14, I would have been better off going to the grocery store. It's just not what it use to be.

Tabbouleh and hummus salad with chicken schwarma and lamb gyro and a side of fries.

I love a good pastie and often go out of my way to search for new pastie places all over the state…read more I noticed Uncle Peter's was sold in a few local markets. When I saw they had a local store I had to stop in and try a hot pastie that was not frozen. Walking in the location was old , outdated and had the lights not been on I'd have thought it was closed down. There was one employee sitting in back who seemed like he was just counting down the hours till he could leave. They had a hot beef and broccoli pastie so I bought those along with 4 frozen pasties that consisted of other flavors so i could enjoy them later or the next day. To say i'm disappointed is an understatement . Uncle Pete's Pasties are $10 each and half the size of most places. They have NO FLAVOR at ALL !!! Like I am in shock I have no clue how the broccoli doesn't even have that veggie taste. However none of these over priced pasties had flavor. The gravy was just okay. Gordon food gravy is better :/ All in all this was horribly disappointing from the customer service , the price to the poor flavor. Save your money if you are truly craving a great pastie my vote thus far is Superior Pasties in Livonia or Cousin Jenny's Cornish Pasties in Traverse City. Those two places are cheaper and have pasties that are amazing in taste and quality. One thing I do want to note about Uncle Pete's is the crust. The crust is very flaky and soft which you'd think would also be tasty and buttery. I'm curious if they used to be flavorful but clearly stopped using whatever once made them a staple. :(

Great customer service and great food! Highly recommend for the nostalgia of your childhoodread more

Same family, new location in Clarkston!…read more We were long time customers of Beirut Palace in Royal Oak, and when they closed we were lost without their fantastic food. For the past 10 years or so we have tried all of the others in Rochester, Royal Oak and Troy and while they have things to like, none compared to Beirut Palace. My daughter happened to see their listing in Clarkston and called to ask if there was a connection. Yes - this is run by the kids of the original Royal Oak family, and some of the same people who worked there. The son and chef remembered us, and we remembered them. On to the food. They promised "Dad's recipes" and they were not lying. The Ghallaba, Arayes, green beans, fattoush, garlic sauce and hummus were just as we remembered. My wife has become a vegan, and had the "Super Falafel" sandwich which was gigantic, and she pronounced the best she had ever had. We were all overjoyed to discover this favorite place again. My daughter is 26, she was probably 3 or 4 the first time we had this food. It's the flavors of her childhood. Service was amazing and we enjoyed everything about it. It's a bit of a drive from us, but completely worth it. 10 stars!

My wife and I ate here after having a splendid breakfast many months ago we thought we would return for dinner. They sat us by the bar there was no one else in the restaurant not sure why we had to sit next to the bar. We had other customers standing at the bar with her faces with their butts in our faces There were so many other better seats I should've said something but I didn't. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, which on the picture it showed seven when it showed up there were only five mushrooms. What was missing the most was crab meat it was a literally a bunch a shake on top of barely stuffed mushroom. Mostly fancy sauce and a ton of bread crumbs to hide the lack of crab....for $17! My wife ordered a sandwich which she enjoyed I think it was a Reuben made out of turkey and I ordered a signature Smash burger. We both ordered french fries that looked like they had been sitting in the basket most of the day because they were cold, and we're starting to shrink from sitting out. By the time we were done, my bill was $90 after tipping the waitress paying their 3% rip off fee. We both were expressing discontent as we left through the parking lot. It has been a while since I had breakfast there, which I never read them for and would've given them a five for that but this menu was not that menu.
