Pizza Fresca - Italian Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Pizza Fresca is bar none the sickest pizza in Columbus. My only advice is to not mix it up - the extra large pepperoni is the best pizza you will ever eat. Someone else mentioned it's greasy - of course it's greasy, it's pizza - if I wanted something not greasy I'd grab a head of lettuce at Kroger and chow down. If you're really craving it, they've got about, 30 desserts on the menu, but honestly I would throw that money to buying more pizza. It's slightly more expensive than papa Johns or another garbage chain and it's more than worth it. read more

I am so confused. About 12 years ago there was a roller rink called WOW! Family Fun Center (currently Skate Zone 71) that I would go to with my family and friends. I even had a birthday party there once. It was home. WOW! had this pizza that was just absolutely amazing and really set the mood for roller skating, ball pits, and lots of fun times. It's been 12 years since I've had that pizza. After trying Pizza Fresca for the first time, I'm filled with nostalgia. Somehow their pizza tastes exactly like WOW!'s. Like spot on. I started getting flashbacks while eating... Memories like falling down while the YMCA song played in the background, the smell of the roller skates, even my mom taking a picture of me with a disposable camera. Everything that I ordered was too GREASY!!! Fried mushroom was over deep fried. It was. It golden brown it was dark brown. Pepperoni roll was GREASY! Buckeye something pizza was very very GREASY!!! If you like eating greasy food then this is a place for you. read more

I adore this little place! Ordering online for delivery is a bit weird, however I feel pretty comfortable with it now that I have ordered quite a few times. It always takes you through "Zuppler," which is normal. When I am in the area I get constant cravings for their food, that's how yummy it is. They have a pretty big selection, I mean a wide variety of food items and desserts even. (For a pizza type of place.) Everything I have ordered so far has always been on time, still very hot, and yummy. They are very accurate when comes to orders that come through, online or calling in... I think the prices are fair and you get a good amount of food that fills you up quick. They don't skimp!!!! They are pretty unique with everything they have to offer, and each time I order something, it's always worth it. I'd also like to point out that so far I have noticed that they use fresh ingredients. My only complaint is that I wish there were more locations, particularly near Westerville... I just got done eating my Chicken Sub with fries and I have to say it wasn't what I expected. Since I had it delivered using Grubhub I'm not going to deduct for the food being cold. However, it tasted like the chicken was the bottom of the pan chicken. I had a bite of just the chicken alone and it was tough to chew. The bread was great I do like the sub roll that the sandwich came on. The fries were old I got half way through my fries and they became hard and almost inedible and no season what so ever. Sitting right now I'm giving it a two star rating I might try this store again in the future to see if there was any difference and give a definitive remark at that time. read more

What this lacks in atmosphere they make up for in good food and friendly staff. I always get takeout from Pizza Fresca because they're usually the only place open when I get off of work late at night, and they have a huge menu. All of their appetizers are good, and their cajun chicken pasta is amazing. read more

I would give this a 0 if I could. Had this food delivered thru Amazon restaurants. The food was so nasty we couldn't eat the food. Through it in the trash and received a credit from Amazon. I can eat anything when I'm hungry usually but this food was horrible. Beware!!!! read more

This place is an absolute joke!!!!! I ordered my pizza at 12:30, was quoted 35-45 mins. Shows up at 1:35 driver doesn't have correct change and expected me to tip him $19 on a $25 order. Then asks me to give him the the $40 and he will bring me back change because he's "a man of his word." After I refused to do this he got an attitude with me. I have him back his food and told him to leave. I then call ten to tell them about what just happened, and the guy over the phone tells me "I'm very sorry. We will get this sent back to right away." After waiting another hour I still have no pizza. I call them back and ask what is going on and the response I got was "are you sure you still want the pizza?" After everything is said and done I've been waiting on for two hours and still have no food, and got laughed at when I asked for a discount. Ordered delivery twice while getting kids set up for college. First order was great. Delicious. Orders are HUGE! Second order well not as delicious. Think maybe overwhelmed on a Friday or different cooks. Don't know. Didn't have that wow it was the first time. Plus delivery forgot my drink and gave hot sauce instead of ranch. We ordered ravioli, chicken Parma Rosa, steak fries and cheese cake. Sadly the only thing that was top notch was the ravioli. Chicken Parma Rosa was so bland, almost like no one used any salt and the chicken was over cooked. The steak fries were burnt and only found shriveled up scabs of steak. And lastly.... the cheesecake was frozen solid. You guys froze the cheesecake come on and no one checked? Lame guys. Really lame. We left very upset. read more

I've tried their pizzas, chicken lasagna and wings all were grosstastic! BBQ brisket Pizza was a one way ticket to diarrhea town. Crust is a bit fluffy on the outside and crispy on the inside. They offer a bland garlic parmesan wing sauce that's one of the worst I've ever had. This place use to be Gumby's/Pizza Joint but is under new ownership and changed everything for the worse. I ordered a pepperoni calzone from here via seamless, mostly due to the short delivery time because I was very hungry. The estimated delivery time was 40-50 minutes. My order was delivered 45 minutes after that time frame, which is ridiculous. Not to mention that the food was barely still warm when it got here. Very disappointing. read more

I don't understand how this place gets any negative reviews I love this new pizza shop. They still have the pokie sticks and rolls and i love their pastas they are amazing and the Brisket is to die for. I've worked in the restaurant business and understand how you can be slow and a few minutes late or be slammed with tons of orders. You can't make everybody happy because some people have no patience. I've seen a few reviews say their fries are soggy but that's kind of expected if your not eating there and you let them sit in a Styrofoam container for more than a few minutes on your way home.
