I ordered dinner here on Sunday, and unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience. The pasta looked like it was made with very little care. The noodles were overcooked in some spots but somehow still crunchy in others, and there was barely any pasta in the container. The bread also not heated right it was almost not even warm made it taste bland . I usually don't leave bad reviews, but for the price I expected much better quality. Placed an order over the phone because my app wasn't working, (I always place my orders on APP) spoke with David manager because the person on the phone didn't have an answer for anything I was asking, and he kept asking his manager David. So he eventually put David on the phone. I explained to David a promo I was trying to use wasn't working, he explained it only applies on the app, and suggested trying it again because he couldn't take the promo over the phone. So I said fine, we will just order the "Big Dinner Box" I initially asked for 2 pepperoni's in my box and before I could change my toppings, my husband said let's just do the carry out special and get two larges at 12.99 each... so at that point I made the change and made one of my larges half Pepperoni half pineapple because that's what our son wanted... when we realized the price difference was only $5 I said "actually we will do the "big dinner box" because he DID NOT ask for my toppings again I assumed he knew that I still wanted one of my larges half pepperoni/half pineapple because he literally didn't ask about toppings. When my hubby picked up pizza and brought home we saw it was two pepperonis, I called and asked to get it corrected and he said he can only offer my a 2 liter soda. I said so because you "assumed" I wanted 2 pepperonis I can't get my correct order? He got extremely rude (corporate can listen to the recordings) and I told him "getting argumentative with a customer is so unacceptable, he said I can contact corporate and he said "have a good day" and hung up in my face. I typically don't share negative experiences over such things as food, but this was so unacceptable, I've worked customer service for 15 years and his behavior and attitude was not okay. This place always burns the pizza we order and they have shitty costumer service and they always say that "no matter what the cheese will always be burnt like that cause it's just cheese and it has nothing else to burn". Got call from this location manager asking if I had meant to place 2 orders. I said no and they told me they would cancel one order. This is the closest Pizza Hut location near me and we've ordered pick up and delivery from here without any problems, until today that is... I ordered the Valentine's heart shaped pizza online to surprise my 8 year because we rarely eat pizza, Tuesdays are busy for us and I thought it would make for a quick Valentine's Day treat. I placed the ordered online, in advance with anticipation of a busy holiday in mind. I knew we wouldn't be home until about 6:30 pm, so that is the delivery time I requested. At 5:25 pm, I received a phone call from the delivery person saying they were at the house trying to deliver my order. I explained to them that I was not home and that they were an hour early. The driver said he would come back. My husband arrived home shortly after. He then called me at 6:10 pm to ask me if I ordered pizza, I told him yes but that it shouldn't get there until 6:30. Well, the driver had gone back even though I told him 6:30! When I arrived home at 6:15 I found that the pizza was cold, burnt, rubbery and the crust I ordered was wrong. I called (was on hold for a really long time) and complained to the manager and although he credited my account $20 for a future ordered the surprise I had planned for my child was completely ruined. I was a regular customer here at Pizza Hut, but after the past few experiences I had with their "general' manger Josh I think not! The customer service I received from him, and one of his cashiers was not helpful. Their phone app, and on line apps don't match, and make is difficult to order, and when I mentioned this to the GM I am told by the cashier off to the side that it would be better if I called in the order... HELLO really, I need to call in my order, and who was talking to you in the first place? WHAT? WHY when you have an on line program to make it easy for us the customer? So our conversation was recorded..Really why did you even mention that? I ended up using the breadsticks marinara sauce to doctor up the "creamy alfredo" flavor. When ordering online, personalize your pizza and add whatever toppings to your heart's content. Just realize that it all adds up in extra costs, unless they have a special deal going on. For some reason I have a feeling that they'll mess up on my order. Tried to use my coupon for 7.99 for large two topping pizza and I was told that coupon doesn't exist in CA which is funny considering it works at where I live in north county San Diego (Vista & Oceanside).
