Pizza Show! Love the look of this place. Inside and out. Old skool, Italian restaurant look and feel. In fact, soon as I was seated, I felt very much like I was part of the restaurant scene in the movie The Untouchables (1987). I even thought, "Maybe I should order a bottle of vino to go with this pizza." You know, just pretend for the next hour I'm someone special. NOTE: After writing the above paragraph, I was thinking of bumping the rating up to a 5. BUT, this review is not for me. It's for those who actually live in reality. Hey, one can dream. Alright, so my partner in pizza eating ordered the salad. Not sure which one, but from my point of view (other side of the table), it looked kind of sad. The pizza itself, which was the Pizza Show Special, was OKAY. Upon lifting, most of the toppings slid right off. That may have something to do with not letting it rest for a few minutes beforehand. But I'm no pizza expert so, 'who knows'. Also, soda refills cost extra?! Essentially if you want more, you're going to have to order another. I can see this if you order To-Go, but when dining inn? Just seemed a bit odd to me. At least 1 refill would be nice. All in all. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. But everything else is about a 3 1/2. Tops. Will I return? Of course. I used to be a huge fan of pizza show. Stopped by for superbowl and ordered 2 giant pizzas. I'm not sure but everything seemed to be off. They possibly have new owners! What happened to Pizza Show, the restaurant! My family and I have been out of the country for a few years. Pizza Show was our go to Pizza restaurant before the pandemic. We missed eating in the restaurant. So, this was the first restaurant we went to upon our return. We were shocked that the smell inside was old, damp and moldy. There was only two cooks in the restaurant and they seemed shocked when 7 of us walked into the restaurant. There were no waitresses or other dinners. After we were seated, the cook that seated us disappeared. So we left. I don't know what this says about the kitchen. read more

Used to love this place growing up in Hawthorne but lately I've been disappointed. Today I decided to order thru Grubhub and got my order. I asked for extra ice with my order and I barely see any ice at all floating in my root beer. I love their ice but the didn't get that right. It says on my order "extra ice". My mom called to order a thin crust pizza with no mushrooms and no bell peppers. Guess what? They put both of those toppings on there and the crust was soggy as f**k! Domino's does a better job and way cheaper. read more

I mean that wholeheartedly, you can get better pizza at Pizza Hut up the street. Secondly, the prices listed on Yelp differ from the price on the menu. I never knew finding good pizza in LA could be so hard, New York sure has spoiled me. I don't even need pizza to be NY style I just want it to taste bomb. Once again reviews have bamboozled me into buying basic pizza. How do these places charge so much for crappy pies, there's no quality. The crust was awful it was like sourdough really hard, crispy and I had to use my canine teeth to rip at the pizza, my jaw felt like I was at the dentist. At least it wasn't burnt, next thing the sauce, it's like pizza sauce out of a can or jar there's no seasoning, herbs or spices and they barely put any on it. Usually can see when people add those things into their sauce, if not see at least taste. I felt like I needed to make my own garlic oregano drizzle just to compliment the pizza. The cheese was okay, nowhere near as stretchy as some of those photos but I'm happy it wasn't greasy and it covered the entirety of the pie. Next thing you charge $4 extra for chicken and barely put any on there, you covered it in so many olives the pizza was unbearable because each bite all I can taste was salty olives. It was a treasure hunt getting one piece of chicken every slice, you guys must of been like "let's cover the whole thing in olives maybe they won't notice there's a tbsp of chicken" Me and my mother consumed 4 slices total out of our 8 slice, 2 topping medium pizza that cost around $40 thru delivery. Even then still around $20 if we picked it up, the rest is going into the garbage guaranteed. I'm trying to figure out why Little Caesar's or Dominoes has more flavor than this and if I fed this to my dogs why its so firm it turned into a game of tug of war instead of them eating it. I can't tell you how many times my orders have been inaccurate, my requests have not been fulfilled as requested, And when I've double checked my order to ensure that it's been what I've ordered, I get funny looks as if I'm pestering the staff. For example, when I ask for a well done pizza, and it's NOT well done? I get looked at in a funny manner as if I'm asking them for their bank account numbers when I tell them that it's not well done and that's what I asked for over the phone. I'm honestly done with this joint, y'all need to get it together and make your long time customers content. Plain and simple. On 10-13-23 I ordered my food from their website and when I came to pay and pick up my order each food item was 3 dollars more per item . We were told we could not sit in one of the 3 empty large tables in the front. it's really sad on a Thursday at 6P no one was in this restaurant and we were told those the large booths were for 5 or more people per the owner.
