Due to the mixed reviews and the photos of the pizzas submitted by the customers, I have avoided visiting Pizzeria Limone. Some of the pictures of the pizzas depicted something that looked like it had been tossed at and missed, crapped at and hit. The last thing I want in a pizza is one that has a large part of the crust not covered with any sauce, cheese or ingredients. If I wanted a big piece of crust with nothing on it I would go to the grocery store and buy a loaf of bread. Also, I do not care to spend my money at a franchise where the owner is too cheap to hire trained adults to manage the employees. In St. George, we are all familiar with the lazy no show owners who hire under paid, under trained and unsupervised teenagers to run the franchise. The foregoing, notwithstanding, my curiosity finally got the best of me. Wife and I decided to give Pizzeria Limone a try. We arrived during a mid afternoon when business was slow and sampled our first pizza. The employees consisted of young teenage girls, I did not notice any adult supervisors. This could explain the previous mixed reviews concerning the service. The young ladies were friendly and provided us with good service. Our pizza was perfectly prepared. Their pizza crust, the fresh mozzarella and the toppings were very good. My wife also sampled their French onion soup that was served with hot fresh flat bread. I assumed the fresh flat bread was made from their pizza dough. The soup and the hot fresh bread were were very good. Overall, I would grade our service and food at a 4.5. I will definitely return to Pizzeria Limone. If I were to consistently receive the same good service and food on subsequent visits, including during their busy times, I would consider upgrading their rating to a 5. read more

Great pizza. I've tasted pizza all over the place, L.A., New York, and Italy so this pizza spot surprised me- Utah? Great Italian style crust. Clean taste, not greasy. I had the Pera pizza, Tre Sorrelle salad and Zuppa. The salad was good but was very watery. I think the lettuce was not dried enough. The zuppa was a bit salty but had good flavor. This review is for Amy, the manager. We stopped by on our way from Zion park to Vegas to eat here. Apparently went I went to restroom I left my purse there with my ID, cash, credit card and insurance card. I realized that once we got to Vegas. I immediately called them and Amy told me that she found it and put it in safe. She was so nice and in 2 days mailed it out for me to CA. This was a huge relief. Thanks Amy. We love the pizza and gelato, and we eat here every time that we're in town. The team was a little distracted today and I had to go ask for my salads after my party had consumed about half of their pizza. No one even recalled that I had ordered them. The salad was drenched in salad dressing. I drained some to the side, patted it with paper towels, dumped it into an empty pizza box, soaked one side and transferred it to the other side and patted it again--and it was still wet. The trash can was also full to the rim. Hopefully the team can rally to always provide the great service that I've seen in the past Ok, last time was definitely a fluke. They were staffed better this time. I also spent more time watching the workers make our food. There is a special touch for every dish that they make. Stopped here on way up to Cedar City. So glad it was open late until 10pm. We Ordered kid pizzas for kids and two for us. Although the order took a long time---20mins, the pizza was very good--a margarita pizza and a Pizza with pear on it. Very yummy. The young ladies working there were a bit confused and slow--they made pepperoni pizzas when the kids wanted cheese, and we ordered Cheese. This place is trying to be Project Pie, but they do sling a decent pizza. Their Margherita Napoli is the clear winner in my mind. I added the pepperoni to mine, the pepperonis are oversized meaning you don't get many on each pizza and they're lacking in flavor overall. The downside to this place is that there isn't much selection to build you're own pizza. The sausage didn't look appetizing at all. I had high expectations for this place. It did not deliver. Although the pizza is cooked in a stone oven, the dough is actually kiddie in texture. Too soft, tasteless and doesn't hold up. The artichokes were bitter, tomatoes seemed somewhat rancid and the lemons should be preserved but these were fresh adding yet another bitter note. Service was jaded and awkward. This place is delicious! I have tried a few different types of pizzas and both were so flavorful. Love the crispy thin crust. The salads are also scrumptious. Usually the salads at a pizza plase are pretty basic, but these are reason enough to go...though once I'm there, I'm going to get pizza, too. I tried the Tre Sorelle which had pears, pistachios, and more with a lemon vinaigrette. I also had the Italiano (without the sausage) which I also liked a lot. My wife and I absolutely love this chain of stores. The Viola Pizza is amazing. We were driving through St George and thought we would stop here to get a slice of our favorite pizza. When we showed up there was only one person behind the counter and 3 customers. We waited 20 min before we even had our order taken and when we got our pizzas they were burnt! I love the food here! It's light and delicious. I love the outdoor seating and the fun atmosphere. The only thing lacking, and the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, is the service. They aren't necessarily rude, but not friendly either. Definitely needs some work there. But the food is the best. If you don't see what your looking for on the menu, ask for the secret menu! My favorite is the Ferrari (not on the menu) lots of meat and spicy. My wife likes the caprese. The Cesar salad and soup is also one of our favorites. read more

Passing through on the way to Yellowstone and stumbled upon this Gem. Now I'm sad we did because all other pizza is going to pale in comparison. Food was delicious, and I felt good about feeding it to my family. We tried the pepperoni, the Pera, the Limone, and the Viola. The Pera and the Limone were my favorites, my 19 year old loved the Pera and my younger kids loved the pepperoni of course. The Viola was really nice too (would be great with a glass of red wine), but the savoriness of the other two hit the spot. We also splurged on some Gelato which was fabulous too, and affordable and only $3 for a nice dessert size container. Best pizza ever! Had the Pera and Caesar salad. If it wasn't for the great food, they would have gotten a zero star due to extremely poor service. Had to ask the pizza size as the signs did not say. Also, had to ask the salad size, again not indicated. The persons made us feel as if we were stupid and imposing on them even though we were the only ones in line. Had lunch there yesterday and it was awesome. Best pizza I've had in St. George! I heard they struggled at the beginning but I'm happy to report everything yesterday was perfect. I had the sausage pizza and it was really great. My wife has the salad, and she said it was also great. She did recommend to ask for dressing on the side however. I love the unique flavors. The Pera is my go to pizza here. I see a lot of people complaining about the char on the pizza crust... That is a part of cooking in wood ovens, but then again, I like the charred parts, and the flavors of the pizza are complimented by the slight charring (it really isn't bad at all).
