Negative stars for the pizza cook. I don't get how a anyone with eyes can look at a burnt-to-all-heck pizza and not bother to make a new one. Like did s/he think I wouldn't notice? That maybe I wouldn't complain? That I like eating ashes topped with cheese? I worked in a pizza joint in high school and I knew better as a 16yo. Not only that, but it takes like two minutes tops to make a new pizza. Instead, they have to make a new one AND redeliver it while I wait here all angry. Update: second pizza showed up burned too! When I called for a replacement, I specifically asked that they make sure it was not at all black, but apparently that's too complicated. The replacement pizza was only partially burned, and the parts that weren't burned were pretty good. 2+ hours later I can say that 40% of my two pizzas was edible. Good job guys! read more

Ordered delivery on Game of Thrones and Claws day because that's what ya do when you don't wanna leave the house! I ordered zucchini sticks, Caesar salad and cheese pizza. The good Delivery came quickly They added two forks and napkins in the bag. Salad was fresh Pizza wasn't burnt and it was better than Pizza Don't or Dominos. The Bad Zucchini sticks had little flavor and the marinara sauce that accompanied it was BLAND. It also didn't help that they packed the sauces with the sticks so that by the time they reached me the flimsy plastic containers had melted. They do not give you enough dressing for the salad. I ordered extra at 50 cents a pop and they are measly portions. Still wasn't enough. Pizza was just okay. Very chewy and the cheese was thick and gummy. Maybe LA can't bring it in the pizza department. It also didn't help that we were watching Guy Fieri on the Food Network and he was visiting pizza places in Denver and Chicago. Like...WOW. Those people care about what they put out of their kitchen and home make a lot of their things. They also use fresh ingredients. It seems like now a days in Los Angeles, everybody wants a pizza shop because it's an easy food to make and ya don't need a Cordon Bleu diploma to do it. But, quality isn't there. It just becomes another generic pie made from cans with little to no thought and pre made items. Sigh...I'm getting disillusioned. Pizza is delicious! Located right next door to Sakura on Centinela it's a good alternative if you don't want to wait in line for Sushi. I have ordered the veggie pizza, the Margarita and a sausage and mushroom at different times. All were excellent. They need to update the inside though. It could be a cute Italian Bistro if they added checkered table cloths and served beer and wine (you can purchase at liquor store on the corner). I live close by and am glad I do! Check it out. Walked in and ordered a Margherita Pizza and a greek salad. I like that they put Roma tomatoes on the pizza. I had my food in about 15 minutes. Everything tasted how it should and service was friendly. They have some combo deals I didn't see before I ordered, but I felt what I got was reasonably priced considering the size. I placed my most recent order from Plank a day ago. My order was as follows: Pastrami sandwich with fries, crispy chicken wings, personal pepperoni pizza, large green salad. My sandwich wasn't toasted (it is supposed to be a hot sandwich) and did not have cheese. It barely had meat on it, which is not how they make their sandwiches. My French fries didn't have Parmesan. They ALWAYS have Parmesan. My green salad only had cucumbers and tomatoes, no carrots (though they make their green salads different contingent upon who cooks), and it only contained one dressing for a large salad, which is wrong. My crispy wings weren't crispy. Basically, everything I ordered was wrong. And it took over an hour for my order. This, after I called 3 times and had to deal with an incompetent cashier who doesn't know the menu. When the delivery guy arrived, my order wasn't even in the system for him to charge me. Knock me over with a feather if I ever order from these people again. It's sad, because they quickly became my favorite delivery restaurant and I just referred someone to them the day before. Yesterday's order proves they don't care about their regular customers, so I don't care to spend money with them. Please avoid this place at all costs! read more

Cancellation on Postmates accrues a small charge, but not the point. Had I ordered directly by phone, walked over to pick up my food that was given to another, would they refuse to make my order?
