I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally was able to stop in. The Poké bowl that I got was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting a small which comes with two proteins and I chose shrimp and salmon. I ended up getting half spring mix half white rice. I got the spicy Ponzu sauce which is soo good along with cucumber, green onion, crab mix, edamame, and some garlic crunch on top. Of course I could not leave without a spam musubi. I am a little biased because I love spam musubi this one was a little bit unique because I think it had cheese on it or something that I wasn't used to, but overall, I cannot wait to go back to this place. Soo good!!! The inside was nice. I will probably eat inside next time. Poké Eats is a casual counter-serve Poké joint located in the south part of Chandler. When we entered, I was a bit concerned because the place was empty-- not even any staff. The staff were "hiding" behind the staff door and came out after we waited for a while. The atmosphere was cute, but the place had a noticeably fishy smell, and not a good one. The staff were wearing face masks and kept going into the back, but they seemed friendly enough. The Poké was rather standard, but I did appreciate the beef bulgogi option which I have never seen before at a Poké spot. The medium sized bowl is quite a big portion for the price. This was my first time trying this spot out. I was craving poke and found this on Yelp and noticed it wasn't too far from where I was. Once I walked in, there were a few people enjoying their lunch. Smelled and looked very clean. The gentleman that helped me was very kind, informative and was so gentle with constructing my bowl. There are so many toppings and even proteins to choose from. The protein option is more than I've seen at other spots. I got my order to go and wow, it was great! There was enough for me to enjoy two meals out of it. Yes sushi burritos do exist and they are absolutely phenomenal!! Tucked into a strip mall at QC & Alma School, Poke Eats has managed to win me over for the best sushi lunch spot I have had in a very long time! The girl at the counter (who I later learned was one of the owners named Christina) explained to me the "build your own burrito" options since it was my first time here and she kindly offered me protein (sushi) samples before I placed my order. The base is a seasoned seaweed wrap, layered with white rice and 3 generous scoops of sushi. I opted for Ahi tuna 2x and spicy scallops. Sauces and topping options are unlimited except if you want extra crab mix or avocado. I had seaweed salad, fresh mango, diced jalapeno, masago, cilantro and a spicy mayo-eel sauce mix. It was massive and filling right down to the very last bite! Just a tad messy but I am sure there's a right way to eat these that I didn't exactly figure out. Haha! Even after my burrito fell apart, it was exactly like having a Poke bowl. Quality of the fish was fresh and flavorful. They gave a punch card at checkout that after 10 bowls or burritos, you get one free. I'll be planning to conquer that mission. read more

Poke Eats has become our go-to Poke place in the East Valley. We have tried a handful of spots in the area but and have continued to check out new spots because in my opinion, they don't come close to Poke Eats. The two things I look for in a Poke place are cleanliness and consistency. Poke Eats has always been super clean and over the last few months the poke has been the same (in a good way). We order from here 1-2 per week and do both pick-up and dine-in. Ordering online through the website is super quick and often times your order is ready before the stated time (if you select pick up for ASAP). The standard they have set is always professional and always friendly. It is very rare that you wait that long for your turn and each employee is very helpful if you have any questions about a topping or type of poke. One of the reasons we stopped going to other poke places in the area was the taste of the fish. When I bite into a piece of fish I like it to taste fresh and not old. Never have I had that experience at Poke Eats. I know it comes from a packet and machine but the miso soup is also very tasty. I ended up buying some packets at the local Asian market because I enjoyed the brand of miso soup that they use. There are lots of parking available in the main lot outside the restaurant. Often we park in the even BIGGER lot that is available. The point that I'm making is that you'll probably never have an issue with parking. read more

I doubled up on the Hawaiian tuna and topped it with edamame, carrots, sprouts, seaweed salad, crab salad, fried garlic and fried onions. I opted out of sauce because I was worried the burrito would get soggy and fall apart; however, it didn't really matter because it fell apart anyway lol The fish tasted good and the toppings were fresh. Compared to some other poke places, Poke Eats seems to be able to turn their fish inventory well--in other words, we're not being served old fish. Oh my gosh!!! Mud!!! Seriously!!! WOW!!! My co-workers & I come here 2-3 times a week, sometimes 4. Last week I started noticing something cruncy in my food & wasn't sure what it was but it was doable. Until today! Found big chunck of mud in my food. Wasn't sure what it was at first but something this dark should not be in the food from what I always get. Took it out of the container & smashed a little to see if it was a bad/old piece of avocado that flew in while preping. But still couldn't tell what it is. I put it on the napkin & smashed the corner of it & it turns out to be a chunck piece of mud. Yes, mud! I am very disappointed!!! I've been here many times and the quality has been extremely consistent. SERVICE: Amazing. The nice lady that serves the poke explained all the best flavor combinations and menu items to my friend who never had poke before. She was really quick to get all our orders in and gave huge portions! FOOD: At some other poke places, the fish can get dry and old since it's left out so long, but at poke eats, the fish is soooo FRESH. It feels like I'm eating sashimi from a legit sushi restaurant. TRY THE WASABI CREAM sauce, it's a sauce unique to this shop and it's my favorite. I noticed recently that they've been upgrading their menu even further under new management and it's amazing! They have new drinks, new desserts, new snacks-- it seems like every time I visit, there's something new to expect. This place went downhill big time. The last two times we went the the fish hasn't been fresh, extremely fishy tasting. Gross!! I asked the person making my bowl to give me the fresh red tuna but he told me that's the cheaper stuff and I want the brown looking meat. I obviously should have just walked out then and there but I didn't and ended up with rotten fish in my bowl. So disappointing I'll be going to Ahi Poke Bowl from now on because this place is just terrible and the employees ( or could have been owner for all I know) are deceitful. read more

I have not been to many fast food poke places, so I decided to give this place a try. The main reason I chose them was their prices seemed better than some of the others. They have 4 a protein salad for 15.95. I got spicy tuna, Hawaiian tuna, salmon, and spicy salmon. The fish was nothing to write home about, and the reason for the lower prices was that the serving scoop for the fish is pretty small compared to the other place I tried. All in all the salad was more than I could finish in one sitting, and for the money it was very good. I tired some of their spicy red sauce on the side, and I'm glad I had it on the side. I'm a spicy food junkie, and I liked the sauce but in limited quantities. A dip here and there was good. I'll go back again, since it's not far from WinCo where I shop. read more
