This place had a tons of options to choose from which made our decision hard. Food came out quick and really fresh. These rolls had a lot of unique flavors.

Always great food & service on a Saturday night! Love that I can sit at the Sushi Bar and watch some college football, while enjoying some fresh sushi!

The food here is delicious and fresh! The service is amazing! All the staff are so nice and friendly. The ambiance is relaxing and family oriented. This is a family favorite for sushi for us! Obviously, we will be back over and over. Please keep up the good work and don't change a thing! You are appreciated and loved!

Went on a Monday night. Got seated right away. Service was very good. The manager and server stopped by several times to make sure we were happy. Glad that they had a whole Glutten Free section on their menu and GF soy sauce for my daughter. My wife loves sushi but I'm not the biggest fan. My only complaint is that the ambiance could be nicer.

My daughter wanted a sashimi boat for her birthday and Chef Jason killed it! It was beautiful and the fish was perfection! We also had specialty rolls and Katsu chicken and every bite was fantastic! To our surprise, they had Happy Hour drink specials on Sunday night. We highly recommend!

This is my favorite sushi place in Chandler, hands down. Tucked away in a strip mall off Gilbert Rd. Just a small restaurant with great sushi. The service is always good and the sushi is even better. Oh and miso soup for a dollar, it is so just right!! They have happy hour daily which doesn't include many nigiri choices but venture out. The gyoza is excellent and the agedashi tofu is good but not the best (more of their take on that dish). Dinner for two is still about $60 so not a bargain but it will satisfy.

Delicious! We ordered a few rolls for a light dinner. The hamachi was divine. Light and unctuous. A couple Cali rolls, one with and one w/o cream cheese. Yes please! They were busy when we picked up-always a great sign on a weeknight. We will he back! Thanks!

For months, this location has been on a radar based on seeing various Yelp friends post about this…read morelocation. I was intrigued for both their sushi selection and their cocktail menu. I figured a Sunday afternoon would be calm, so I decided to pop in for a solo lunch. What I Ordered: - Yuzu Mule: The drink was delicious and refreshing, so I ordered a second one. Definitely order if I return as well. - Hamachi Lime Roll: This roll had an odd texture to me, and ultimately, I grabbed the rest to go as it was a little off putting to me. The flavor was decent though I found myself wishing there was more crunch with tempura flakes or panko bread crumbs on top. - Crazy Roll: The winner between the two rolls in terms of flavor and preference. Though, I wish this roll had the spicy mayo the other one had. I'd definitely order again and ask for a side of spicy mayo that I could add to the roll. Love the soy paper option! As for ambiance? I thought country music was an incredibly odd choice for this establishment hence the 4 stars versus 5 star review. I'd prefer more traditional Japanese music, or heck, even some J-Rock over American country music. I'm guessing Sunday afternoon is a slower time, so it was employee choice. Overall, I'd visit again when in the area and recommend to friends/family.

Course 1: Hamachi Peach Crudo peach amazu / pickled daikon/ smoked tomato oil / red pepper. This dish was right in my alley! I love Hamachi, and peach! And this is my first time having this combo in a crudo. It was many flavors all combined in one dish. 10/10 . **Please add this dish to your permanent menu! Course 2: Spicy Scallop Futomaki/hokkaido scallop / benishoga / chili crisp/ takuan / wasabi mayo. This roll tastes great, scallop tastes fresh and I love the way it was seasoned. However the rice around it was too much that I couldn't taste the scallop fully. I wouldn't get this dish again because of the rice around it was too much. Course 3: Ocean Trout Mi-Cuit/ okinawa potato croquette / citrus cream/fried capers / crispy salmon skin. I love the cream and the capers in this dish. The fish is seared. Although not much flavor in the fish itself but because of the sauce, it complements the dish well. Course 4: Dessert - Yuzu Lychee Sorbet/vanilla whisky hojicha granita. Oh my gosh, this is my favorite dish! It was so good and refreshing! The yuzu sorbet was tart and creamy. And the hojicha ice underneath was delicious! I would come back to the restaurant just for this dish and the first dish!

We arrived a little early, so they told us we could sit at the bar & have a drink. We sat there for 15+ minutes & the girl getting things ready for the bar totally ignored us. Right before we were seated someone else took our drink order & said she'd bring them to the table. Hubby got a beer & I got a Tito's & cranberry juice. We ordered an appetizer. While we were waiting they sat another 4 with us. We all expected dinner & a "show", but none of us expected the show we got. One of the staff started screaming at another staff member. We had no idea what the female staff member was saying since her words were not in English. She was so loud & screaming in the bar area so the entire restaurant could hear her. A couple of staff members tried to claim her dow. This went on for several minutes. It was crazy. All us customers were silent & just looking at the girl screaming & yelling. The next thing we know, round two. It was unbelievable. What was even crazier was they didn't send the staff member home! No one came over & said a word. No one apologized or said anything. After all of this, they sat couple with us. Finally the chef came to the table. By this time it was 20 til 6:00. Hubby got the filet with fried rice. I got the shrimp with fried rice. The food was good. However, hubby's steak was over cooked. Thankfully, hubby told the chef he wanted to change the steak from medium to medium rare, or it would have been even more over cooked. I also watch all of the employees but one prepping the food without gloves. This used to be our go to place for, but now with all this issues this time, we will probably have to find a new place.

The restaurant is fairly large, and seems like a lot of people like coming here for family/friend dinners. Like the name insists, the teppanyaki is the way to go. Their menu isn't that large, so it was pretty easy to make a decision. I opted for the filet mignon (rare) along with shrimp. Teppanyaki is really more of a show/experience, so the food comes out to you in sections (versus all at once like at a traditional restaurant). The filet was so soft, and was perfectly rare, and the shrimp was so good. I think in the future I'd eat a whole plate of shrimp. I also got to try the yakiniku, and that was also pretty good but very sweet. Their Boo Yah Ka roll was also pretty yummy. It's essentially a spring roll, but with some spice and citrus to it. I felt that the portion was good for a large meal, but my friend who got the chef's combo definitely had enough for leftovers.

We walked in a weekday night and found the dining area quite small and full, except for their final open table next to the entrance. We almost left but decided to tough it out. Our server was attentive and friendly and our order came out quite quickly. She was super attentive too and kept refilling our drinks throughout the meal. We tried a mix of specialty rolls and more basic rolls. Most of the specialty rolls were around $15 each, while the basic rolls were under $10. The spicy tuna rolls were especially good for the price because they were cheap, but still came out huge. Overall the portions were very generous and the prices weren't bad at all. I got the Hell Fire roll and it definitely lived up to the name. I handle spicy food really well and even for me this thing was extremely spicy. It was almost painfully hot, but honestly I kind of enjoyed the challenge, It was also really good besides just being spicy, so I'd definitely get it again. The inside also had a cool vibe with all the colorful lighting and it wasn't too busy when we went which was nice. Most of our sushi came out almost immediately. The fried rolls understandably took a little longer since they had to be made fresh. My only small complaint is I wish everything would of came out closer to the same time, because some of us already had food while we were still waiting on the fried rolls. Overall, really good food, huge portions, fair prices and great service, definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Craving Noodles and bookmarked Daruma Ramen based on Elite & All Star reviews by Betty j., Kendall N., Lucy L., and Samantha N thank-you guys! Parking 4/5 The restaurant is small and located on the west end of the strip mall. Arrived approximately 3pm. Not a peak meal time the parking lot was very busy due to numerous business in the strip mall sharing the parking lot. A few trips around the lot snagged up a spot as someone was leaving. Atmosphere 4/5 Rating based on a small kitchen/Dining room business. Approximately 8-10 two seat tables. TV on the wall no decor, clean and sufficient. Service 5/5 Service today was by Mireya. She asked if this was our first visit, which it was and she thoughtfully covered their menu by reviewing starters, salad, Roman and noodles dishes like Yukasoba as well as beverages. The shared sampling order: 1green Tea. 1 Hot Tea. 1 Cucumber salad (shareable size). 1 Yukasoba. 1 Sapporo Meso Butter Ramen. 1 Spicy #5 Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen. Mireya got our orders in, and returned with the drinks and cucumber salad. The entrees came out in succession and the table filled quickly! She was very organized checked on us frequently and also had to go containers ready when we called it quits. An almost complete Yukasoba and half a Ramen came home. Food 10/5 Everything was fresh and delicious. I've never been to or had Ramens like this before. Amazing would be an understatement. The broth in the spicy dish was I would enjoy by itself. Spicy #5 was mild by my standards and wouldn't mind a bit more heat. The noodles were very nice and the cabbage was cut to size and skillet browned slightly before adding it into the dish. Mushroom added great texture and flavor. Both Ramens came with pork which was two thinly sliced pork chops. They were tender and took on some of the broths flavor, the pork quality was excellent! The Yukasoba is something I have fairly often however theirs was the best I've experienced. The pork was different in this dish, small diced pieces and the texture was soft perhaps a lower quality of meat with higher fat content which really excelled in the Yukasoba. The restaurant appeared busy all hours and had a continuous stream departures and arrivals. It fair to say the restaurant is small, a bit difficult to find your first visit and it may not be glamorous but you would miss out on some special food if you didn't give them a try! This was a great experience for us and we will be back. Daruma Ramen my friends-SYOY!
