Their store is on the smaller side but it's clean, has lots of table, and is lit by natural light. I read an older review saying the burrito wasn't big but just one half of the burrito was enough to make me full for lunch. Probably the best thing I've ever eaten. It was so buss. Definitely recommend you try their poke burrito! For my poke burrito, I got cucumber, crab salad, seaweed, spicy tuna, salmon, chipotle mayo for sauce, and nori for the wrap! 10/10 recommend this when you're craving raw fish or you're just hungry

Food tasted fresh and portion is generous except the protein scoops were a bit skimpy IMO for a Small bowl. You get 2 protein for a small bowl but portions are not great. Would opt to get Medium size next time. Will come back tho since food was good. I just love the "build your own" style. They had good options for dressings and toppings too. Parking can be a bit challenging, but there are garage and street parking around the area. Had a 3 min walk from where I parked NBD since the day was gorg ! $2 for an hour and half, had more than enough time left from the event. So that worked out. Staff were mediocre. Overall yes I recommend.

The sauce I chose was ponzu sauce. I like the spice level of the spicy tuna. One side of the albacore was grilled which was surprising. It was $15.45 for the small bowl. The price seems reasonable. One employee asked if I'd like crab and seaweed salad. I said yeah. Crab is probably imitation crab. I like that the crab and seaweed salad are free. I don't think other poke bowl restaurants serve them for free. I like how the sauces and toppings are labeled on the display cases or glass. I didn't see the trash can so I asked an employee where I was supposed to place the tray and bowl. He said he could take it. Employees were kind. One employee said I'd be paying with cash since I had a $20 bill out. There are at least 4 tables inside. Music played through the speakers. Chairs were stools. A small plant was placed on each table. They seemed real. One table had 2 chairs on each side. Tables were grouped together. There are tables outside. Natural light filtered through the floor to ceiling windows. I could feel the AC inside.

I like the quick service because I usually like to be in and out when I order during the daytime. The food tastes fresh, and I like their portion sizes. I've been craving poke for a while now, so I'm really glad that my cousin suggested this spot today…read morefor lunch! There were plenty of parking spots in the parking lot next to it. There was a little bit of a wait to get our food though because there were only two employees there and a whole bunch of customers for them to help. They were moving very quickly and efficiently, but they just seemed a little understaffed. The store isn't too big and felt a little warm despite having both ceiling fans on. Everything looked really clean inside and all the ingredients were in a refrigerated display. They were very generous with the portion sizes! I got a small bowl, but they really loaded it up. The food tasted really fresh and tasty too! 10/10 would come again

Solid poke spot in the Pasadena area with generous portions! :)…read more I got a 2-scoop bowl with ahi tuna and salmon, with sweet chili, yuzu ponzu, sesame oil, and sesame shoyu. I thought the fish tasted very fresh, nicely dressed in my sauce combination, and was nicely diced. I do wish my bowl were a tad saucier, as the bottom half of my bowl/purple rice was on the drier side. Besides that, the salad and other toppings were a nice, crunchy complement! (Unpictured) I thought it was interesting that this place also offered poke burritos, spam musubis, and to-go plates of sushi rolls! I'll definitely have to come back to try those out. The service here was fast/efficient, and the girl who helped me was nice.

I've only ever ordered…read morefrom their "galley", which I think is what they call their kitchen, but I know they also sell raw seafood as well, in addition to a few other things in their small market. One of my favorite things to get at Fish King is the plate with the swordfish skewers. This dish is honestly so unique, and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. It's basically two shish-kebab style sticks of seasoned swordfish, peppers, and tomatoes, and it's served with a few sides in addition to fried veggies and shrimp. I also really enjoy their tacos. They also have very generous servings of poke (I personally don't get the poke from here because it's already mixed in with raw onions and I don't like raw onion). Prices are all very reasonable--the swordfish plate I mentioned earlier is around $15 and a pretty large amount of food. Fish King does get pretty busy especially around mealtimes so it's better to order in advance and pick up so that you don't have to wait around as long. I think if you order in person, you can expect a 20-30 min wait when it's busy. There's a small lot on the side of the market and sometimes you can find street parking too. There are some tables on both ends of the market so you can dine in, it's very casual.

They know everything about their fish and even the things they sell that you want to use to make your fish. The place is always clean and fresh smelling. The prices are very fair. The wait for service is never long. They have the best salmon and white fish around. They clearly get fresh fish daily. We have never had a bad experience. They even have a place to eat and they make prepared food for you. It is wonderful. Parking is easy and the staff is the best so have fun and go there. You will not be disappointed.
