$21.73, not worth it, regular size bowl.
Terri M.

This place is misleading, On their webpage is says regular bowl is $16.50. But when you go in person its about $20 or $21 with tax. They dont have much of a choice of topping at all, maybe about 4 or 5. There was avocado (extra charge), imitation crab, masago (extra charge), seaweed (extra charge) and a couple others. I will stick to going to the Poke place off of Main. That place has a ton of different toppings and options, taste better and cheaper.. they don't penny pinch and make you pay extra for most toppings like seaweed. So was about $3-4 more than it should have been according yo their pricing.

Really tasty! I was definitely full from half a bowl. Nice gal working who helped me through my first poke bowl purchase. The sauces were so good!! Will return

This location is trash. My wife and I have been getting Poki Bowl every Wednesday night for the past two years. The location off of Cottle is awesome. We started frequenting the Morgan Hill location as it is closer to home. It is always hit or miss with the portions at this spot. There must be some tuna still swimming in the ocean, because it wasn't in her bowl. If it were some food from the dollar menu, we wouldn't care. Meals here are expensive and worth it, when done right. When you get these pathetic portions, you end up feeling like you were playing three fish Monty with a scammer. We called and asked for a refund on the underscooped bowl, but they said the owner will call you tomorrow. When I followed up and called her, the owner was dismissive and said they can't refund it because we ate it. If you wanted us to bring you back raw fish crumbs from the day before, your manager on shift should have said so. People make mistakes, we get it. But when we called in they said that they watched the footage and it the order was definitely made correctly. In the same breath, the owner said that some of her staff overscoops. I said that the same people made the two large bowls in the photo....did they suddenly forget how to scoop between bowls? Avoid this location at all costs.

My favorite poke place so glad they finally have one in morgan hill so nice and fresh. Perfect spot for a quick lunch.

The mission of this visit was to try the seafood boil, and boy were we thrilled! The place didn't disappoint, Food was fresh and flavorful. We ordered garlic butter noodles 4 Yam fries 5 flavorful and crispy with a spicy dip. Seafood boil 4.5 good quality and flavors, I felt it was a tad salty, but I won't complain. Unlike the other seafood boil places the food came in a ceramic serving tray. We ordered the house sauce with medium spice with shrimp, king crab and clams. The spice level was perfect and so was the sauce. Very pleased with this service, portions, pricing and the flavors. Definitely coming back to taste several other items on the menu. I would have loved for them to play some music rather than the silence. I wasn't too bothered. Y it though since I was too focused on the food.

They just do a few a little differently I noticed. When I come, I order a pound of shrimp: jellyfish smack, medium, with an addition of sausage. (Corn and potatoes too if I'm feeling really hungry.) I always like ordering a side of rice so that I can pour the sauce on top of it for that extra flavor. The service is good. It normally isn't too busy and they provide you with all the utensils: a bucket to dump ur shells, a bib, gloves, salt, pepper and lime if you need it as well.

We were promptly attended to by both Cristina and Melanie, who provided us with the menu and shared some background about Vera. We concluded our meal with Profiteroles, which were bite-sized caramelized puff pastries with the perfect amount of sweetness. I would like to give compliments and a shout-out to Cristina, Melanie, and Dani for their excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend Vera Restaurant as a must-visit eatery. We started with the steamed clams in this garlic sauce, which were AMAZING. The sauce was so flavorful, and dipping the bread into it made it even better. We also ordered the beet salad, which was pretty good, along with the seafood linguini and seafood paella. The linguini was decent, but the seafood paella was definitely the star. It had a creamier, cheesier flavor compared to traditional paella, but it was so rich and satisfying. Service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your company. I've seen some reviews mentioning slow service, but honestly, I think we're just so used to being in a rush.. this felt like a nice, leisurely dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try their loaded clam chowder on Sundays!

Our server was…read morekind and doing their best, but the food quality and overall experience were not good at all. We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.
