For my first time it was a good experience. I didn't give 5 because, and this is my personal issue, when transferring old food to the new compartment it's not my preference. Also, any food that falls out of the scooper onto the sides needs to be cleaned and thrown out, not back into the food bin. Sauces are great, good variety and the ramen is a plus! I love the avocado slices so I'm okay with what I paid. I've been to other places that serve more fish and less avocado and I like equal parts. My favorite place to eat in montebello! We eat here every week, usually twice a week I always get the salmon and tuna, although I have tried the spicy salmon, spicy tuna and shrimp. I stick with the usual. The restaurant is always well let and smells fresh. The fish is ALWAYS fresh, which is very important for poke. What I really love about this place, is it has topping GALORE and extremely good sauces. Poke Go is very affordable compared to other poke spots, and in comparison to toppings, sauces and portions sizes, this is by far the best and it's not even close. Jessica is always here when I come and she is very sweet, hard working and friendly when it comes to my 100 questions. Thank you Jessica! So on my recently Poki obsession, this has been my favorite place. I may be getting carried away giving this 5 stars, but so far it's the best Poki place I have encountered. They have a ton of options for toppings and sauces, plus some that I haven't seen at other places like kale, pickled radishes, tofu and egg. The place is really clean, they are very generous with their portions and the employees are really nice. One of my favorite things is actually the green salad mix they have. I've gotten more into the salad than rice, but a lot of places use iceberg, which is gross. Here, it's mostly spinach and they pack a ton of it in. The only improvement I think that could be made would be their proteins. I wish they had craw-fish. There is only one place I've found that has it, and I wish it was at every Poki place cause craw-fish is wonderful, but that is just a dream of mine. I think this is one of the best places to eat in Montebello and I'm looking forward to filling up my stamp card for a free bowl. First off, if you are a professional fatty this is not the place for you. The portions are suprisingly less than I expected. I ordered a large and I felt my large was similar to othet poke places medium. The quality is good. A majority of the poke bowl was rice and salad. They really skimp out of the sides and the protein. Also there was barely any SAUCE. Very, very bland poke. They also charge for every little thing. Most poke places will let you get more than one scoop of certain items but for most of the items here they charge you an extra 50 cents. Like damn. I like ginger. Cant I just replace my other sides with more ginger. NOPE! The people serving also gave us the tiniest scoops. Can't blame them tho thats how they are trained. I also ordered the green tea. Its basically just powdered matcha, milk and water. Not very delicious. There are several mom and pop shops around here that have way better poke. Looking for Poki and I came across this place on yelp. Decided to stop on my and give it a shot. It's located in a shopping mall so parking might be limited during the lunch crowed. We walked in a little after the lunch crowed and had no line. Picked up a menu and look over my choices. Regular bowl - 3 scoops of fish My bowl had a base of brown rice with Spicy salmon, Tuna and salmon. Fish was very fresh and the spicy salmon had a nice kick to it. You then get to add your own sauce and I had the Lemon Ponzu, Soy Sauce, Sesame Creamy and had it Loco 2 with is a little spicy. I would compare the Loco 2 to a medium spice. You then get to add your toppings and I added Crab Meat, Cilantro, Ginger, Pineapple, Green Onion, Red Onion, Edamame, and Cucumber. To finish it off I added Roast Garlic and Friend Onions with some Sriracha. The bowl was a nice size and very filling. The fish was very fresh and had great flavor. With all the add ons and toppings this was a great Poki bowl. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave recommendations. I came in the store and ordered a take-out of a Chicken Ramen. The Ramen noodle is packed separately with the soup. The staff put a plastic warp on top of the very hot soup and then covered it with a plastic cap. When I opened the cap in my car, I saw the plastic warp melting in the soup. I dumped it in the trash and came into the store to ask for some soup directly in the bowl without the plastic wrap. To my surprise, the staff reacted like all hell broke loose. She called the manager and told me that she could not get me more soup because I didn't bring the soup with me and they would not know if the plastic wrap actually melted or not. I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. I ended up eating plain ramen noodle with no seasoning or soup. They were also not very helpful when they were taking my order. If the staff hate serving people, they should get a another job. read more

New poke restaurant near our house and it happens to sound like our latest obsession Pokemon Go? Of course we had to try it. It's kind of ironic because there also happens to be a PokeStop in the restaurant over that can be conveniently reached from Poki Go. This restaurant has the typical bases and proteins you'd see at a normal poke place, but the toppings were a bit different than what I've normally seen, like pineapple, tomato, and jalepeno. They had some of the usual ones I get so I ended up just getting those. Overall, really yummy! The fish tastes fresh and the sauces were good. Be warned that the Loco 2 sauce is actually pretty spicy. I enjoyed it while I was eating but once I finished, I drank a lot of water :P For those that are less adventurous, this is a great poke place to try as they do have a cooked protein bowl with cooked fish and other seafood. Even though I love raw fish, I appreciated this as poke can be daunting to someone who is unfamiliar with raw seafood.
