New ownership. And I think they're phasing out poke or something bc my bowl just looks sad. And my poke had a bone. I would just go to uroko haha

Great place to go they cut the fish right there and the sauces were good too. They didn't have kobo or yellow tail anymore when I went but it was still great. The service was fast and they were super kind. The inside was super clean and there was a lot of seating which was great. I got Togo cause of my schedule but definitely will come back

Haven't been in many years and was craving poke due to the warm weather Local spot indeed Multiple Offerings Rolls Hand rolls Poke Entrees Sides Multiple sizes of bowls: small medium large would determine number of scoops of protein Upon serving it would seem like very specific portions are being served though service was easy and nice. (note $1 for avocado) clean and various booths and tables to sit, was semi quiet due to time of day Would return, poke light tasty fresh flavor, garlicky edamame had some extra seasoning and smelled wonderful Hidden gem literally in a corner yes

Poki Roll has been around for a while, but it was only through yelp that I was able to find it. This spot is a small, family-owned business. The best value is their "special combo", which is a small poke bowl with a "base roll" for $15.50. I upgraded to a medium bowl and my "roll" was a crunch roll. With their poke bowls, their small bowl is two scoops of protein, their medium bowl is three scoops of protein, and their large bowl is 5 scoops of protein. I have to say that I enjoyed my roll and my bowl, but my issue is that the scoops of protein are on the smaller side. The scoop is about the size of a knob of butter on a stack of pancakes. I was waffling between three stars and four. Even though I felt that what I ordered was delicious, I ultimately felt that the value and food experience was simply OK, which is three stars in the yelp scale. I do think that it's a good spot for poke and everything tastes good. If you're hungry, definitely go with a large bowl and don't overlook that "special combo" as it helps you maximize value.

Good poke. Fresh, and taste so authentic. The place is little and feels so homey. We came in the evening and it was pretty empty for sit down, the people helping us were helpful and nice. My husband and I had medium bowls, and my son grabbed a chicken teriyaki bento box.

$20 for a large poke bowl is pretty standard but the fact that this place was so stingy with their add ons. 3 pieces of cucumber, two strings of carrots and so on. You're paying for the fish and veggies are not that expensive that they have to put so little. Disappointed. Also got the lychee slushie with boba and the boba was hard as pellets which means it's olddddd!

Ask the Community - Poki Roll

Can I purchase poke (just the proteins) here? How much is it per pound?

    They charge by the scoops.

Do they have a kids menu?

    No, they do not.

Can you call in your order?

    I believe yes, you can.

Are specialty rolls still 30% off?

The prices on the menu boards inside the restaurant are the prices including 30% off. We have increased the prices of all menu items at the beginning of this year.

From the start, the service was excellent and easily one of the highlights of our visit. The cashier was exceptionally kind and even apologized for the wait, generously applying his employee discount to our order to make up for it. Despite the initial delay, our food was ready within 10 minutes. **Spam Brûlée Musubi: 5/5** Nestled between layers of freshly steamed rice, the grilled spam was coated in a glossy teriyaki-style glaze. Creamy kimchi aioli was drizzled on top, while the brûléed brown sugar formed a thin caramelized crust that added a pleasant sweetness and delicate crunch with each bite. It was so good that we ended up getting a second order. **Hot Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken Sandwich: 5/5** This sandwich featured incredibly crispy panko-fried chicken that remained tender and juicy beneath its golden crust, smothered in hot kimchi butter that provided a subtle acidity and gentle heat. A touch of brûléed brown sugar introduced a sweet contrast to the savory fried chicken, while the kimchi aioli and macaroni salad brought a mellow creaminess that balanced its richness. Rounding out the sandwich was the Hawaiian bun, which was soft and moist yet nicely toasted on the exterior. **Hot Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken & Katsu Shrimp Mixed Plate: 5/5** The mixed plate was another standout, combining their signature chopped katsu chicken with lightly battered shrimp drenched in hot kimchi butter. The shrimp had a light crispness that gave way to a succulent, snappy bite, while the sauce delivered a bold, umami-forward flavor. Accompanying the proteins were rice and their house-made macaroni salad, which incorporated shredded tuna and mashed hard-boiled eggs into a mayonnaise-based dressing finished with a sprinkle of paprika. These additions elevated an otherwise unassuming side with unexpected depth and complexity. Between the outstanding hospitality and impressive execution, Shootz exceeded expectations across the board, earning its place as my go-to whenever I'm at Rodeo 39.

The Wagyu was savory without being overly rich, and the chicken breast was lean but still really flavorful. They give you the choice between the regular chicken, which is dark meat and a little more savory, or the chicken breast, which is the leaner option. Personally, I eat a lot of lean meat, so pairing the Wagyu with the chicken breast was perfect for me. I also chose a double order of the macaroni salad for both of my sides instead of the kale salad or the other original side. It was a little extra, but completely worth it. It's hard to find places with really good macaroni salad, and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the entire plate. The food came out very quickly, the service was great, and I'll definitely be coming back.

But for $20, I can get a two-meat plate with high quality white meat chicken + beef + fried egg, and feel satiated until late afternoon (might be the peptides talking tho, who knows ;) ). I always call it in, and it's always ready on time. I always get the plate combo (beef + chicken breast), with kale and cabbage salad. Rice is included. I think their mac salad is good, but not worth the upcharge. I do suggest getting extra sauce on the side, as usually the one cup they give isn't enough based on the portion. I also love ordering ahead and just grab n go. This and Urban Grill are both solid options.

Musubi, taco masubis, and rice bowls. Ordered the miso salmon Musubi, bbq short rib taco, crispy calamari taco, and grilled unagi taco Firstly, everything tasted really really well done. Flavours were on point and textures and sizes were pretty decent too. Why 3 stars? It's pretty pricey. For nearly $40+ worth of food, you don't feel like you got a meal out of it. It's hard for me to say if it's "worth it" because they did do a fantastic job with how everything tasted. The only item I was kind of disappointed in was the Korean bbq taco. The meat was smokey and flavorful, but lots of fatty chewy pieces and occasional rare piece. That's me being picky Overall I would recommend as a novelty type place. Still hard to justify $ to quality and quantity but I wasn't disappointed in the items. Wish they sold the seaweed chips they make the tacos out of. I'd totally get those on the side
