Unfortunately, they did not post it and with good reason. It's gourmet prices for a subpar chicken. Upon arriving, I opened the door for three women. A new restaurant in city of Covina. They had their own enterance and exit in Walmart / El Super plaza. I had to drive around and around in the plaza until I realized they have their new enterance on arrow just before the right turn to N. Azusa. I read it's better to order through drive thru but I preferred to enter the restaurant and check it myself. The place was packed and it was just around afternoon. This is my first time eating at a Pollo Campero restaurant. I walked in and waited a few minutes to order my food wait time wasn't very long consider they were busy for dinner. That's a great point as it lets me know this place is in popular demand. I work in DTLA area and am use to seeing this business on the Westside of Los Angeles. I regret not dinning earlier on. I ordered my food and the cashier and I were joking about my order not being complete. She assured me that they present the verify food before leaving. As time passes I noticed the people that ordered after me were being served and at first I was thinking it's probably because I have a huge order and someone was working on it. When I approached Ronald the Store Manager he went to verify my order and for some reason my ticket was overlooked and apologized for the delay and kitchen error. He took action and immediately went to work on my order personally. This type of service keeps customers coming back. I won't lie I was upset took a couple of breaths and thought if I lashed out what good will it do me? The Manager apologized and went straight to work on my order. I truly appreciate when people even business take ownership of mistakes and make a person or even customers feel appreciated. Despite the cause. I'm truly grateful and extremely thankful that my family and I ate a great meal and believe me this meal was delicious as my 2 year old tells me. I will definitely be returning. The mashed potatoes tasted authentic unlike KFC where it taste pre heated lol. My favorite were the fries. The price point was on par with every restaurant nowadays. The same people complaining might also go to Chik-Fil-A, Raising Cane's, and other expensive (sometimes overrated) fast food restaurants. You can find a way to spend around $10 per person. The sandwich's habanero sauce managed to hit that perfect heat zone; it delivered a real kick without overwhelming. The macaroni and cheese was the perfect complement - no off taste as another reviewer mentioned. The chicken serving per sandwich was far more generous than any other comparable restaurant. Finally made it to this new location. I've visited a location in LA years ago. I was excited to try this one. I remember back when my grandma would bring a bucket from Guatemala and chowing down on some Pollo Campero past midnight. The menu is extensive which was a surprise. Sandwiches, bowls, salads, and other options. I came for the fried chicken. The chicken was nice and crispy. A reason I decided to dine in was just for that. By the time you get home fried chicken gets soggy. My son like the grilled chicken it had good flavor. My younger son had the chicken sandwich which he liked as well. I would pass on the cole slaw. The yucca fries, plátanos were good. Little on the pricey side. Seemed like some orders were taking a while. I don't know there something about having this chicken after five hours on a flight that makes it taste good. Now I don't have to wait so long to have some. Haha! It tied everything together. The chicken was not overly breaded and was juicy, but it tasted a lot better with the sauce. The yucca fries were perfectly salted but the Campero sauce gave the yucca fries a definitely enjoyable level of flavor profile. The coleslaw was the least liked part of the meal. It was heavy on the mayo and celery. Service was fast and friendly. The dining area was nice. They have regular tables and booths as well as bar height tables and chairs. They were considerate and advised me it might be few mins so I parked on side . While I was waiting another employee getting off her shift noticed I was parked and I must of looked like I didn't know where to park so she politely came up to my window and said are you waiting for an order .
