I am saddened to write this review. I am not sure what is going at my only favorite Peruvian restaurant chain. Their manager Nadia Lozano is uneducated and the poorest manager I have ever spoken too. She has no clue what customer service is and especially no idea what customer service is at all. The manager that I have normally dealt with is apparently on vacation for two weeks. So if you have an issue in the next two weeks good luck getting any help. Last time I checked salsa crilloa is not just raw red onion. Also I did not know that pollo saltado included burning the onion. I know that most of your customers maybe of latin, but that does not mean that we deserve subpar service that is inedible. I am absolutely appalled that this what El pollo inka considers good customer service. Nadia should be fired. I am sorry but getting into an argument going back and forth with a customer service may work in her hood but should not work in a business environment. The best line from Nadia " since you said you know the owners you should have their phone numbers" that was her response to my statement " would you like to take my name and number to have them call me back". You are how a national franchise and this is who you employ. The only decent place for Peruvian food and now I have no desire to go back. This includes the restaurants as well. I called several times to place a large order and they never answered. The service is awful inside as well as in the drive thru, always having to wait for long periods of time. The staff is not friendly and when you ask a question they don't seem to want to answer. I don't know what the problem is because the restraunt in Gardena also has problems answering the phone. This was the best and quicker way to get your Pollo Inka fix without having to sit at the restaurant and $hell out almost double the amount (+tip) for a good meal. I say WAS because it's definitely gone downhill lately. Their staff is rude and I get it, they're trying to get you in and out quickly but good customer service should never be sacrificed to save a few minutes. The quality of their food has also gone way down, now it does feel like fast food that was just thrown together and not something cooked to order like it did when it first opened. Slowly but surely their portions and great taste have been scaled down too. I used to get the Vainitas de Pollo without rice and they would give me salad instead, last time I was there I got a box with a handful of green beans and maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken; not even a complete meal! I think ordering to-go orders from their restaurants is now the way to go, this way at least you can double check your order without someone rushing you out the door! I LOVE there Food and I would Always Call Ahead So i didnt have to deal with the drive thru line or the waiting! I would place my order then in 20 minutes drive to the restaurant walk in pay and walk out so simple so easy! BUT NOW They took off the Phonecalls and u have to do online ordering or drive thru only!! which i find really stupid!!... I always pay with cash but online doesn't give you that option so now i have to go and wait forever in drive thru or pay with credit card. FIX IT INKA!! read more

I just ordered food for our staff and was so disappointed. My Chaufa was white rice with soy sauce a chicken that they didn't even cut up. To top it off they put a fried egg on top nothing mixed. The food is good in my opinion. I usually only come here when i don't want to go to the main pollo inka restaurant. However the wait time in the drive thru is very long15-20 mins! DO NOT ORDER YOUR DELIVERY ORDER THRU DOORDASH!! This location is not affiliated with them at all, I placed an order with them last night on the DoorDash website, my order was received and made somehow. I got alerts stating that my order was en route, the closer the driver got to my drop off location, I went out side to Receive my order, the delivery driver never showed up. This restaurant claims that they are not affiliated at all but it's weird, because this is the location I placed my order with which I'm still scratching my head about. I disputed my order with DoorDash which is currently processing a refund. I left out that same evening trying to catch them before they closed, I am 8mths pregnant and had a 3yr old who loves their chicken, unfortunately they were closed. I spoke with a nice gentleman by the name of (Steven). He was nice enough to replace my order for me which I came down today to have replaced. There was another man who got involved but seems to be nice only to select customers, he was very rude and had a very sarcastic attitude, almost as if it was my fault for placing the order thru DoorDash. I was looking for the convenience but ended up with a bad experience almost bittersweet. But you guys should really fix the glitch that DoorDash has you in. If it wasn't for employees like (Steven) I'm not sure how this place would manage to keep customers because everyone seems like they're in such a hurry and can't take a second to help you. This is not unusual, every time I come here I wait at least 10 minutes for my food (that's actually the least amount of time I've waited) the food is great but the drive thru wait and service is not very good. Favorite dish! Lomo Salteado, I don't get anything else, but everything is good there, but I always get Lomo Salteado! The rice soup is awesome! I been trying to make it and its not as good as theirs! haha. But its great. I have came with family and friends that have never been here before and they loved it. Lomo Saltado is my shit. I like the food and that it is cooked fast. And that it's a drive-thru. This place gets pretty busy. It's an express, so it's basically a fast food version of Pollo Inka. But the food is good, and relatively cheap, for L.A. If you want the restaurant go down the street. read more
