If I came back the second night out here.. it must be good... either that or they gave me the cool outside corner table twice on two gorgeous nights! and my party was small ... once me... and 2 friends who came over to say hi... from the beach bakery... then me and friend MaryAnne.. they were so nice! Very accommodating... very helpful with recommendations... the staff, the location and the porch, and the cheesy white christmas lights make the place the fun place it is to be. The food was fine. Rasberry sorbet was Haagen- Dazs but they were so generous... and made it look like fun. The fried banana and carmel/ mocha or something drizzled over vanilla ice cream were deadly. Too fried... will never succumb like that again. (supposedly). They have nice salads with all kinds of fun things, mango, pears, nuts, etc etc. They have creative dishes like pasta with mussels, sausage etc. And they have standard old boring strip steak & baked potato with veg.... (eek - yes I got that in the Hampton's where seafood is all you should be thinking). They have a cool turkey burger with cranberry etc.. Fun place - in a cool little small town village. Open in warm weather only. Westhampton is a very seasonal village. More so than any I other I have seen.

My experience at the Post Stop Cafe was about average. I had the Shrimp Scampi which I enjoyed very much, however, be sure to ask for the Shrimp Scampi over pasta or you'll starve. My mother had one of the best Turkey burgers we ever consumed. Their turkey burger is served on a whole wheat English muffin, well seasoned, juicy and contain whole cranberries in every other bite and topped with melted gorgonzola cheese. Absolutely out of this world. My stepfather had the Scallops which he devoured! We all greatly enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was forgetable, but the service was average. I would definitely go back just for that Turkey burger!

RUDE!!! To be honest I don't think she warranted any tip at all...

Did I miss something? Horrible food. Horrible service. Had to clean my own seat on some crappy plastic chair before I sat down. Ew! Did I mention they ONLY TAKE AMEX.. Wtf?

Went here for breakfast on a late Saturday morning with my sister. Place was busy and we were lucky enough to get seated right away outside on the front porch. Beautiful place, wonderful top notch service and delicious food. Can't say anything bad about it! Wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back!

Worst service I have ever had. Do not go there even though they think they are good. I am glad they will close shop soon. Place sucks.

Not great food served by very kind staff in a bizarrely outdated interior surrounded by a very old crowd... would not return.

What truly completed the evening was our server, Adam. He was knowledgeable, attentive, considerate, and spot-on with every recommendation and every question we had. What a terrible experience. We had eaten at Flora a few days earlier and had the most delicious…read morefood and excellent service. Well, we met the complete opposite arriving at Fauna. We only saw the waitress one time. After waiting 15 minutes, she arrived to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. The potato purée with truffle cream and leeks, which we requested to arrive first hadn't arrived after what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes so we got up from the table and apparently they made a mistake and it should've been brought to the table and when it did, it was cold or barely warm. We tried to find someone to get us to help us, but after five minutes gave up and decided to eat it. You couldn't taste any truffle and we ate it just because we were hungry, but it was extremely disappointing. There were hardly any leaks on it and they were overcooked. Next, there was confusion over our entrée which we were splitting and we wanted to come out and we again had to try to track someone down to explain to please send out the entrée. When it arrived, the fish had been pounded down thin and was covered in breading and so much oil that it was completely disgusting and inedible. Instead of a beautiful piece of juicy flounder, we got a dry, oily thin piece, which was mostly breading and really disgusting. It had no flavor. Green beans which they put a fancy name on to make it sound special while they were overcooked and tasteless and the sweet potatoes were watered down. The rum banana was overcooked and would have been better suited as a dessert. We then had to get up from the table again because we never found our waitress so we had to go to the hostess so we can retrieve our bill and left a very undeserving 15% tip. We managed to find someone else to bring us some containers to take on the food that we hadn't eaten and in the end, I don't know why we bothered because it went in the garbage. If you want terrible service and terrible food, then head on over to Fauna . If you want good service and good food walk a few feet and there you have Flora. Flora is a small intimate restaurant that is decorated beautifully had amazing service and cooks their food perfectly. They treat each customer as if they are their most special customer. We felt welcomed there and we felt like they went above and beyond to make us happy. It was such a different experience going to that. We are shocked the same owners owned both restaurants. Maybe they should try switching managers so Fauna can learn how to run things more like Flora. I have a feeling that Fauna makes most of their money on alcohol because you certainly don't wanna go there for the food or ambience. It's noisy and obnoxious. If you want a peaceful restaurant, that's beautiful and knows what their theme is then go on over to Flora. Fauna has lamps with deer, antlers and wood that is dark and uninviting and strange wallpaper with different animals on it in the bathroom and terrible smelling soap. Their menu is confusing as with their music, which was a mix of salsa and a type of music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. You really missed the mark Fauna.

The hummus was so savory and the burrata had a delicious tomato sauce that brightened the dish! Mains: Truffle Mushroom Arancini and Soba Noodles - the arancini was rich, cheesy, and super flavorful! We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and let our server know we were there for a special occasion. He treated us extremely well, bought my mom a birthday cocktail and dessert, and walked us through the menu to make recommendations on what we definitely had to try as first timers. For appetizers we had local oysters on the half shell which were fresh and delicious, and shrimp cocktail which was sizable. We went with the endive salad in between which was crisp and well balanced, the honey mustard dressing really brings it all together. We also had the baked clams which were cooked perfectly, and burrata which was so, so creamy. For entrees we ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni which I think might be the best I've ever had. The sauce was rich and perfectly spicy. We also had the whole branzino which was excellent, cooked just right. The steak frites were also the right temperature, and the truffle fries hit the spot.
