    Lunch 8/7/18. $38.96.

During my last visit to Chicago in 2016 my brother introduced me to the Potbelly chain of restaurants. So, we decided to dine from this chain again in 2018. We ordered the following to go: Two big chicken $15.20 Mushroom melt $4.30 Chicken salad $7.85 Three bags of chips $3.90 Belly bites combo $4.49 -Mac & cheese -Choc milk -Apple sauce -Cookie Total $38.96 We arrived during lunch rush so there was a decent line (10 minute wait) to place our order. Since the Mrs. and I were placing a multiple sandwich order, it was a little bit chaotic to provide options to several sandwiches at the same time. The assembly line setup is ideal for single sandwich orders per person. We asked for no Artichoke and peppers on the side. The guys told us the cashier will take care of it. The cashier did not. Belly bites is a good value for your kids. (+1) The last time I tried out Pizza sandwich and meatball, so I tried grilled chicken this time. As usual, the sandwich was delicious. I tasted their Mushroom melt and it was good too. This is an excellent build your sandwich fast/casual restaurant chain. Check them out.

Potbelly is my all time favorite place for toasted sandwiches. Nobody else does it right! For reals though, I don't know what it is. Is it the temperature of the toasting? Is it the amount of time it rolls through the toaster? Regardless of what it is, they seem to have the perfect equation for the perfect toasted sammich. I like to get the wreck because it has just about all of my favorite meats. I usually get it with everything but onions (because I just don't like onions, sorry not sorry). Make sure to get giardienera in the sammich or on the side. If you're really hungry, you can get chips and a side or Mac n cheese to complete your meal.

We were absolutely disgusted by the manner our order was completed at this Wheeling location. All the salads were missing ingredients and much of the remaining portions were looking very old. Look at how bad the avocado has discolored! We usually greatly enjoy Potbelly's but we will never order from this location ever again and hopefully they will close this location. We tried calling but they did not answer the call. I called again and reached a manager who was very apologetic about the really bad salads and offered to make it right by re doing the lunch at no charge - we re ordered the lunch today and it was much, much better! Just like the old days.

The workers were quick to answer questions, take the order and offer water while I waited for my to go order. The food, I think I would do without the ton of salad I got in my bowl next time. I think there was so much salad and not enough rice that the ratio felt off. The lamb I got was really good though. The spicy tzatziki was different but I think I prefer the traditional instead. Next time I'll try the sandwiches and maybe it'll be a better ratio.

Though it may seem unusual to dine next to a gas station, don't let that deter you from visiting this spot. The parking is plentiful, there is minimal cross traffic, and you get a full fast casual experience when you dine inside. In fact, the decor inside this restaurant is a bit nicer than average for a restaurant in this segment and the service is both quick and friendly. The food here was surprisingly good for me. Not only are the portion sizes large but the food is fresh, flavorful, colorful, and has good textures. In particular, the YR fries give a good mix of everything you could want in a dish. The fries are super crispy (even after 10 minutes), the meat is piled on generously, and the onions & green peppers are fresh flavorful. This is a fantastic comfort food for anytime you're craving something savory. The yeero flight is also an excellent way to try out their different meats, all of which are tender and flavorful. This is provided with a generous amount of sauce and condiments. Overall, worth a visit for a delicious meal if you're anywhere in the area. Though there was several similar options in the area, this one stands out for its value and speed.

I know costs have gone up everywhere but it shouldn't cost $5 for a regular hot dog or almost $10 for a cheeseburger. While the food is generally good and tasty, the portions are kind of small for the price. They also forgot the tzatziki sauce for our gyros so we had to go back to pick it up but they didn't really do anything to make up for our second drive out.

The delicious, enticing smell of Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Cinnabon fills the air! I love that this location is not inside a mall. I ordered a three original cinnamon rolls and I was told that a four pack cost the same as three, and the four pack was freshly made. SOLD! I also ordered a medium lemonade. The lemonade tastes, freshly squeezed with yummy bits, but not too much. It's got the perfect amount of sweetness and tart. I'm pretty excited about this new location. There's Jamba Juice as well, all rolled up in one. Very convenient, very friendly, and extremely clean. Can't wait to come back with hubby and kids.

However, this one sadly fell short. I was disappointed when my pretzel was no more than 3/4 of the size that they serve at the mall, which I didn't realize until I unbagged it in my car. Then, after a couple of good bites, I discovered that most of the pretzel was burned on the bottom. I noticed the unexpected charred flavor first, and then discovered the blackened dough. Ugh! But I was driving at this point and didn't have time to go back to the store. At almost $6 for a pretzel, I don't know if I'll try another one here. My Jamba Juice smoothie was delicious - no complaints there! The place was fully staffed and the employees were friendly. My total check was almost $15 for one pretzel and a medium smoothie. On a positive note, I had a $10 Jamba Juice gift card, and because these three shops are combined and checkout is at one register, I was able to apply it to both my smoothie and my pretzel.

There were a few people eating and someone waiting for an order to go. I asked they type of cut their fries they serve and they were the thin, crispy kind similar to McDonald's. I was like DONE, let's order a large order. As I was waiting for the fries, I notice that they had 4-Cheese Pizza Puffs - boom, ring me up as they don't have cheese ones very often. I took both for takeout. As I drove home, I could smell the fries and I couldn't wait, so I grabbed a few at a stop light, I'm sure you all have done it. When I arrived, the fries were still crisp and hot and so was the pizza puff. The fries just bring me back to living in the Northside of Chicago and walking to the a fast food joint to order fries and play video games. The pizza puff was so good! The inside is clean but somewhat worn down, with the addition of gambling video machines in a cordoned off area nearby, always disappointing to see. As we ordered take out I will defer on service.
