The insulated cups have great fitting tops and adequate straw girth to sip right away and are still cold when you hit bottom. And the shorties? WOW. Tiny, flavorful, crave-worthy sandwiches muffin things that hit the spot without weighing you down. The bbq chicken shortie is addictive -- warm, savory, and just the right size. I meant to come when it first opened at the beginning of the month and life happened. So when I had a day off and I was driving in the area, I figured it would be a good place to grab some breakfast. There is only drive thru and walk up. I parked right in front and walked right up. The motif is cute, colorful and vibrant (if you can see inside they have some fun mural work). However I was a little confused as to why the menu was so far away from where you order. I guess I could have scanned the QR code so it was on my phone but I didn't so I had to step back and forth to make sure I was ordering the right thing. I decided to try the breakfast sandwich and the sausage waffle. The overhead fan unit was so loud though, I could barely hear the girl taking my order. It also didn't help they are doing construction next door on an incoming vendor plus the street noise. I will most likely use the drive thru if coming back again. When I got home (about 8 minutes away) the food was lukewarm but I didn't want to risk overheating it and changing the texture of anything. The sausage waffle sticks were okay. The waffle was a little dry and definitely was better once dipped in the syrup that came with it. The sausage had a little kick to it so it helped bring in the flavor a little more. The breakfast sandwich was of decent size. The bagel was very porous (gluten free). I put some olive oil mayo on it because it seemed a little dry with just the sausage, egg, and pepper jack in it. It went to another level when I decided to add some of the syrup on the bagel sandwich as the bagel just sopped up the syrup like a sponge! The pepper jack added some decent spice to it. All in all it was a good breakfast. It didn't blow my mind but considering it was gluten free and had beyond meat, I still have to give it a 4 stars. It is so amazing how far we have come with gluten free and meatless products. Fortunately for me I do not have any dietary restrictions that would force me to only eat at a place like Power Soul Cafe because I was missing the genuine gluten bagel a little bit. There is no inside dining room, you can order food from the walk up window and have it outside ( they have one table with bench and umbrella ) or 24 hour drive- thru or online and pick it up from the one of the lockers inside the locker room ( which is pretty cool). Powersoul cafe is healthy fast food - certified gluten free place and they have great selection of smoothies and smoothie bowls . They have vegan and keto options too. We had their pizzas and they are on the smaller side, but they are so delicious . We highly recommend them, especially: Parmesan mushroom truffle pizza. We have also tried their cloud smoothies and they are dairy free and no added sugar ( which is great) and they are so refreshing and yummy! Okay, the wait can be long here while in the drive thru line. I think they need more training experience prior to their opening, which has already been open for a few weeks. However, they are open 24/7 and offer healthy options. Some of their pricing for their keto smoothies are ridiculously high, but you can modify most of their drinks. The day I went was a donation to the Boys and Girls Club, so I got lucky that day. I agree with recent reviews that they have items and do not have them. They need to update their menu for the day if we can't order them to save some time. I enjoyed my smoothie and made modifications due to health reasons. Okay! I have since been back a few times to try again! I tried the Chocolate Monkey and the Cloud 9. Both were yummy but personally I loved the cloud 9, and ended up drinking my brother's as well lol. I asked for suggestions since I've never been there before and she recommended the 11:11 smoothie and I got the chicken nuggets. I really enjoyed the 11:11 and the nuggets came with honey which was pretty different. Theres was nothing that spectacular about the nuggets they were pretty tiny. I didn't get a chance to go inside but the drive through menu was pretty cool and exciting to me. Upon revisiting PowerSoul Café for the second time, I realized I wasn't fully informed as to what type of restaurant it actually is. It's an ingredient responsible, health conscious, certified gluten-free, establishment, which I find quite refreshing and quite frankly much needed in a sometime excessively obese/gluttonous society. During my initial visit to power soul Café, I had this preconceived notion that I was visiting an establishment to purchase a large portioned super cheesy, extra cheesy pizza made with ingredients that doesn't fully have the consumers health in mind, and that will undoubtably and inevitably go straight to my mid area a.k.a. The gut among many other parts of the body. I can only speak for myself, but I'm trying to get my flat stomach/summer body back. So....... If you want a beer, go to a bar. If you wanna balloon go to the circus. Finally had the chance to check out PowerSoul Cafe on this past Sunday, and it was just OK. The smoothies that we had were great (the Cloud 9 and the Aloha Avocado), but the pizzas were just too small for the price, in my opinion.....especially the Keto Pizza which sure had a lot of protein in it, but it looks kind of comical how small it is. I do appreciate the fact that it is a certified gluten free restaurant, has a 24 hour drive thru and uses food lockers. And the wait in the drive thru line didn't take too long, and the staff were very friendly. But I just don't think that it's a good value for what you get.
