Big breakfast, pancakes, chilaquiles and cafe de olla!!
    Victoria M.

Stopped in with my son for our "mom and son" get together breakfast every once in a great while! He recommended this place in Baldwin Park cuz he was craving Pancakes. Sure, why not? I'm always game to try something new. We drove down Maine street and he told me to park inside the shopping center area.. Didn't recognize the area due to all the changes over the years. I asked him, where? He said on the corner. Hmm, where? We walked up and to my surprise, what once WAS something else was now "Pradera Brunch." We put our name in, waited a few minutes and were seated. A very nice waitress approached us took or Cafe de olla order. It was sweet, needed creamer but it was as ok. I ordered Chilaquiles and my son a big breakfast with pancakes. My chilaquiles were good, crunchy with beans on the bottom and scrambled eggs. My son ordered breakfast and pancakes, huge appetite of course. Service was excellent, atmosphere was very relaxing, not a-lot of nonsense going on. The food, well check out the picture. We will definitely be back..

Daisy the absolute best service! I've been here twice, and both times the food, drinks and service did not disappoint! Portions are great. Dishes are flavorful. Drinks in a bag is a must! It's in a convenient shopping center, with plenty of parking. Both indoor and outdoor seating. The music they were playing in the morning set the tone for our day. Great playlist! This has become our go to breakfast place.

I think my dad had the lengua and it came with fresh handmade tortillas. He's a bit picky but he devoured it.

Brunching with my dad and the pup so we took the outside seating which is very nice. Inside ambience and decor is slightly modern yet cozy. I liked their dinnerware. Great food presentation. The green chilaquiles were just how I like them, crunchy, mild, and hot. Our waitress was very pleasant although she forgot a few items, she corrected the issue with no hassle. Will definitely return! Plenty of parking although it can get busy. I hear it is especially busy on the weekends and waiting time can exceed an hour. We visited during the week and did not have to wait at all.

Walked in on a Sunday morning and got seated right away luckily. Service was excellent. The restaurant was clean. We ordered two items: Birria chilaquiles were tasty. We got both the green and red sauce. Bionico pancake: sweet cream sauce, granola and fresh berries

Delicious food, great service, fun ambiance. Perfect for a brunch with the girls or dining in for a casual breakfast vibe! Visited this place on a vacation to SoCal and it was so memorable. Thank you Pradera!

Came here for the first time to have brunch with my bestie! Service was 10/10, great recommendations for both food and drinks (not pictured). The food was good. Chicharron y guacamole was okay, huge chunks of jalapeños inside the guacamole which was a shock to my tongue I was not expecting LOL I'd rate it a 6/10, probably wouldn't get it again. The Chicharron themselves were good. Fresas con crema waffles were delicious, 8/10! Not too sweet at all & the waffles were soft with a slight crunch. The star of the show was the chilaquiles w/chorizo, so bomb! 10/10! The restaurant itself isn't too big but not super small either, lots of seating inside and some seating outside as well. They do have larger tables if you're planning to come with a group. Parking is super easy as the restaurant is located in a large plaza. Overall experience was great, I would come back again.

The ambiance is very cutesy and romantic! I got sat right away and they had the cutest concha appetizer which I got, along with a cafe de olla. Both were very good. Representation of food was so good! Service was nice and friendly. I took a bunch of pictures. For reference I got the conchas, chilaquiles, and wet burrito. Big portions and definitely shareable.

I was excited to try this place and was a bit disappointed as service was not the best. It was not such a busy day, and we kept having to ask for refills on water. We ordered the boring breakfast, queso fundido(appetizer)- which only came with 3 tortillas which was not enough to finish the appetizer. We ordered the breakfast skillet and the chilaquiles. The bacon was burned on both plates. We got the appetizer and no plates until after eating for a while then they brought plates. Also thought it was interesting we got plastic cups for water while the table next to use got regular cups. I ordered the pink carlota drink and it was delicious. Food expectations were much higher, and truthfully wasn't the best. Average and decent. Cute place to check out.

The breakfast burrito was so delicious and it was huge. I got both red and green sauce.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was more frustrating than enjoyable. First off, if you're trying to make a reservation, don't bother calling -- no one answers. My cousin tried calling on two different days with no luck. When we signed up on the waitlist, the app showed no parties ahead of us, but when we asked in person we were told there were two parties ahead. Then the app suddenly showed one person ahead of us? Very confusing and poorly communicated. We were told the wait would be 40 minutes or less, but we ended up waiting over an hour. While this wasn't entirely the restaurant's fault (a large party had already paid and chose not to leave), it still affected the overall experience. This place is definitely not recommended for large parties -- everyone else seemed to get seated quickly. Food-wise, it was hit or miss. The licuado de chocolate was delicious -- very chocolatey, and I loved that you could actually taste the banana. The chilaquiles were yummy, and the guacamole had good flavor. However, some of the chicharrón was too hard, which was disappointing. On top of that, we weren't given any utensils or napkins for the appetizers (chicharrón and ceviche), which feels like a basic oversight. There was also confusion around refills. Fountain soda is free refill, but Mexican Coke isn't since it's bottled -- fine. However, orange juice for my little cousin wasn't a refill either, which wasn't clear. The menu states free refills for café de olla, but when we asked, we were told that only applies to hot café de olla -- something that wasn't specified on the menu. Overall, the food has potential, but between the long wait, inconsistent communication, lack of basic table setup, and unclear policies, the experience fell short. With better organization and clearer expectations, this place could be much better.

Let's start before you even get there: my cousins called four times over two days to ask about hours and reservations -- no one ever answered, she even left voicemails. So if you're planning to call ahead, don't rely on it. We were quoted a 40-minute or less wait at 10:50 a.m. Yelp showed zero parties ahead of us, and the hostess confirmed it. Suddenly, there were two parties ahead of us... then five more parties were seated before us. We were told the tables "had paid already and were just waiting to leave." After 20 minutes of that explanation, we were finally seated at 12:20 p.m. That's a 1 hour and 30 minute wait for a promised 40 minutes. Also important to note: for parties of 6 or more, 20% gratuity is automatically added, so even if service is rough, you're still paying it. Now, the good: The inside is BEAUTIFUL -- very woodsy and floral, super aesthetic. They also have two gender-neutral bathrooms, which is appreciated. Food-wise, the chicharrón and guac was delicious -- super crispy and flavorful. I ordered the pork belly eggs benedict (scrambled), and the pork belly was AMAZING. Potatoes were crispy, eggs tasted like eggs (which is good), and the sauce worked well. Service, however, was very disorganized. Our server was Ariana, but honestly, it was hard to tell because multiple people were helping us and no one really checked in. They brought our food before utensils and napkins -- we had to ask for them. When they finally arrived, only three people got metal utensils and the rest of us got plastic ones I ordered an iced café de olla. The menu states "free refill," but apparently that only applies to the hot version -- which is not specified anywhere on the menu. I had the manager (Daisy) clarify, and she confirmed it's hot drinks only. I suggested they update the menu, because as written, it's misleading. To top it off, no one checked on us while we were eating. Drinks for my cousin's boyfriend and the little girl with us ran out, and we couldn't ask for refills because... no one came by. I'm still low-key salty about my café de olla refill situation . Overall: beautiful space and good food, but the wait time, lack of communication, and inattentive service really hurt the experience. I wanted to love this place more, but they seriously need to work on organization and guest communication.

There's something about hiking 7.5 miles that brings out an appetite... here comes Pradera Brunch into my life. We were a bit intimidated by the possible wait time but decided to try it out it anyway. Party of 4, peak hour, and we were seated in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday ( late morning). Parking: located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking, but the lot was pretty full. There's inside and outdoor seating. The inside was beautifully decorated. Tons of food and beverage options. If we ever decide to go on this crazy hike again- we will definitely come and eat here again. SHOUT OUT TO OUR WAITRESS MARIA WHO WAS NOTHING SHORT OF FAB.U.LOUS!!! WE WILL BE SEEING YOU SOON MARIA!

First time here and it was amazing!!! There is a bit of a wait to Get in (30min for party of 2). The inside is small and crowded but the atmosphere is fun. My son and I ordered the horchata frappe it did not disappoint. I got the breakfast skillet and he ordered the bionico waffles. Service could have been friendlier but overall the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

We prefer Miku's song (Blue Razz) over V Super Saiyan (Mango). Blue raspberry paired well and enhanced the coffee whereas the mango kind of disappeared. You can order at your table with the QR code on the stand, which is what my friends and I did. For my drink I got the Gengar Shadow and it came with a matcha poki and blueberry meringue. The matcha was smooth and flavorful. The blueberry cream was tasty, creamy & complimented the matcha so well. I also got the Charriquiles, which were cooked to perfection. The tortilla chips were a gorgeous balance of crunchy and soft. The verde salsa had a little kick and was so rich. The eggs were big and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and checked on us a bit. It is a little pricey, but that's expected eating out now. Be prepared to wait a little, but that usually is expected with good tasting, high quality food. So mad at myself for not stopping by before, when I perused Yelp for study spots. Will definitely come again!!
