I think the coffee tastes great, but it's ridiculously expensive. I think their to-go cups are very cheap for their price. I asked for extra hot and it was closer to cold. Maybe next time I'll quadruple emphasize "extra hot." I'm giving a 4 because I do believe their coffee flavor is great, or else I would have given a 3. Ambience is great, relaxing. Plenty of sunny spots and shady spots to your liking.

Interesting coffee shop to hang out. We realized at the end that there were some outdoor seats as well. The Barista was friendly but she kept forgetting what we ordered and I'm not sure if there was any lavender syrup in my latte. The coffee tasted fine I just couldn't taste any flavor. We will probably try this place again to check out the outdoor seating.

This adorable coffee shop is the bees knees of coffee! Seriously super cute vibe in this cozy little house situated at Lustre Pearl East. Very friendly staff. Very good coffee! I really love the lattes. Quirky and delicious=welcome to Austin!

Great first experience at Praxis. Went on a cold December Tuesday morning, so I couldn't quite take advantage of the beautiful outdoor spaces that this coffee shop offers, but the inside was plenty cozy for our needs! We happen to arrive during the daily 11am-12pm "cappy hour," and we therefore gladly grabbed a couple of $3 cappuccinos! The drinks were crafted promptly, and tasted amazing. It is clear that Praxis cares about their coffee, and the baristas are experts at what they do! We really enjoyed coworking here. It was quiet and conducive to getting good work done, but it also felt warm and welcoming to quiet conversation. Definitely looking to returning during better weather!

Praxis Coffee Roasters is a cute coffee shop with many delicious signature drinks! The staff is very passionate about coffee with their crafted drinks. Unfortunately, there isn't a parking lot, but street parking around the establishment. I also appreciate the shared community outdoor lounge with another business right next door. P.S. Espresso martini is a MUST when you visit Praxis!!!

A lot of my engagement on here has to do with work from home cafe's. This is a nice option: good WiFi, vibey interior that is chill with a vintage home feel, and decent coffee. I haven't had the espresso but the cold brew was good. I wish their seating was a little more comfy for those wanting to plop and work like me lol. But overall good spot.

What a lovely coffee spot and very much true to Austin is weird vibe which I love. Located inside of Lustre, this coffee shop in a converted bar/old house is a great find. There is free WiFi and ample patio seating with shade (and dog friendly!). Inside there are three rooms with 4-5 2 people table and loved the feel of being in an older maybe Victorian- style house. There are outlets near the wall if you are looking for place to study. There is plenty of free parking as it is located in a neighborhood. Coffee wise my husband who is a coffee snob loved the coffee - he loved his cold fermented coffee pour over (I am not quite sure what I typed there but that's the drink he got). As a non coffee drinker I got the Bees Knees which was very refreshing

While it may look to be a bit run down, there are immaculate vibes to Praxis Coffee Roasters. It really is a spot that screams Austin. Great music, drinks and the server was super sweet. If you want a chill spot to get some work done, I definitely recommend this spot.

Cutest little coffee spot! We came on a whim and were very pleased with our experience. This spot is located in front of a few local bars and has plenty of parking. It has a limited menu so it's not too hard to choose. They also have a ridiculous amount of options when it comes to what kind of milk you want in your coffee - thank goodness! Service was quick and friendly. When we're in the area again we won't hesitate to come back.

Praxis Coffee is an excellent choice for third wave coffee in Austin. I had their special, which was smooth and delicious. The service was excellent and quick. There are indoor and outdoor options for seating and it is a quiet place to work or chat away with friends.

My office relocated to the area and I'm so glad to have this amazing coffee shop nearby! The cortado is so good, and I've also had their iced coffee for a late afternoon boost. They have tons of outdoor seating and great wifi. A fantastic place to meet up with friends, or get a little work done outside!

Nestled in a cute food truck park, this place is a walk up and go kinda order but your coffee is out fast considering the long line. I may be the current Duke of this location, but there is still a lot for me to try. And dang, I really want one of those really nice tote bags. Before I discuss the coffee order I got this time. I wanted to shout out the customer service for being ridiculously amazing. Maybe it was because I got there super early and right when they opened, but this was the first time I did not see them super stressed and low-key freaking out. I usually walk away with my beverages, but this time I sat down. One of the baristas actually came out and checked on me to see how my drinks were. I found this to be super special. Okay, now onto the dirty chai that I ordered. I asked (when I asked about the floral notes that I was tasting) if they made their own chai in house and the woman told me that they in fact did. She also mentioned that I got the end of the house-made batch so what I was tasting might be different from a normal order. I thought this was quite interesting and this was another unique beverage, despite being a staple at many coffee shops. Would I order it again? Probably not but it was good! Also, with the Shoyu butterscotch, I would stick to the iced version. So thank you Desnudo for another great vibe and for making my one hour round-trip always worth it!

The concept of this is really interesting, but I think I saw it on TikTok so I kind of knew what to expect. Essentially it's two baristas working in a concrete slab. The culture is really odd and super Austin which I can appreciate because it is no longer in my opinion. I ordered The A hole latte with oat milk and it was decent but nothing spectacular. The barista told me that they ran out of cinnamon, but that is clearly not true by my photo. I was going to try the food, but I decided to skip it as I always judge a coffee shop on their coffee first. The reason for my tire rating is because of the wait time. From start to finish it only took about five minutes, which was incredible despite the fact that there were seven people in line. Neither of them could finish their entire glass of beer, so I ended up chugging the remaining half of both of theirs. The customer service was so sweet--I was struggling to translate the menu with my mom, and the guy at the front desk was truly helpful throughout. It really raised the experience of this place during what could've been a relatively stressful situation. Dirty Horchata - I was hoping for a stronger horchata taste. It's not bad, so it was worth the shot! Just grateful it wasn't too sweet. My BFF felt the same, as we're both horchata fiends from growing up in Chicago. Cherry Cider - The cider has a tangy taste. The cherry flavor isn't as strong, but it's a fragrant drink. The flavor slowly became sweeter the more I drank it. It grew on me, but it wouldn't be my go-to unless I knew I was munching on something salty that night. Violet Blueberry Blonde - My favorite of the two. This one has a tamer flavor with a nicer floral note. It was exactly what I asked for. I felt like I could've easily chugged a few of these. The guy at the counter definitely chose a great pick. I love the low-key ambiance of this place, the peaceful nighttime atmosphere, the fact that it's wedged into a cozy nook, and how it isn't so LOUD like many bars. Didn't get bit by a mosquito while we hung out there for an hour, so that's a huge plus. They were probably chewing on my friends' legs too intently to consider me, though. Wish I had something like this near my place in Houston. I would regularly hang out here on a weekday, no cap.

Tons of outdoor and patio seating, a few tables indoors in the AC. I ordered the Flapjack, hot, with double espresso in a larger cup, with half sweetness (effectively a large with less services). Delicious saltiness and cinnamon! I really enjoyed this. I tried the honey lavender latte which they said was the least sweet of their fort favorites. The lavender flavor was very forward and there was a hint of sweetness on the back of the tongue, so very accurate. I didn't get as much coffee flavor here so maybe double espresso if that's important to you. Friends also tried the seasonal coconut macadamia latte (they said it was nice, like a sweet nutty flavor). Really solid coffee spot with great vibes, I'd come back.
