I bought a new motor for garage opener, springs and new keypad for 1800.00. A little pricey I say But do to the urgency they came the next day.This was end of January. However, move the time to end end of March, I had an issue with the key pad. I figure it should be under warranty. Well, the keypad malfunction and I couldn't use it. Called precision they came out, I figured free of charge because the programmed the pad with door opener so no problem. To find out No. have to pay Programming fee? Why I ask? It malfunctioned and it's been slightly Over 60 days which your technician installed. I had nothing to do with this malfunction. We warranty parts no labor. Wow! This company is simply a dispatch service with horrible customer service that does not operate or employ the techs they send, the techs are simply contractors. They have no visibility into their contracted techs schedules and their dispatch is at the mercy of their contracted techs responding to them with no way of providing direct contact to the customer. If you like accommodating a ridiculous standard 4 hour service window and constant changes in scheduling, followed by their dispatch telling you they cant get ahold of the tech and waiting around for hours with no response, and in the end being hung up on by their dispatch then this is the company for you! I called them for a repair and the soonest they could come out was late the next day, They give a standard 4 window then changed it on me multiple times. They sent an automated txt confirming the scheduling that was wrong and when I confronted them on it they simply told me that many times their automated system reports false information. After the time window I was given had passed I called them to get an update and was simply told the tech will call me directly. I waited for hours and received nothing from the tech, I called the dispatch again and all they could do was tell me was the tech would call me and they actually hung up on me. I called a 3rd time and they told me they still couldn't get ahold of the technician but to cover themselves they basically lied to me telling me that I had a window that still fell within the 4 hour range however speaking to them the day prior I was given a different window and furthermore I had a txt and other confirmations showing otherwise. Their response was simply that the automated system cant be trusted and sends out false information. When in the end their dispatch simply couldn't find their contracted tech who was missing in action for hours. In the end I cancelled the appointment after hours had past and fuming about being hung up on and just called another company, they arrived in 30mins, fixed my issue and couldn't be happier with them. Save yourself the headache and the frustration of a 4 hour schedule window and terrible customer service and call someone else. My time is valuable and Precision is not worth my business. read more

Precision Garage Door installed a new garage door opener 10 weeks ago for $2400. It stopped working 15 days ago. The first time I called for service, I was given a service window of 2:30 - 6:30. At 8:30 p.m., I called and found out the person was not going to make it, after I had taken off work to be there for the appointment window. The next day, I made another appointment to get the garage door opener that they installed fixed. The person said that it had a faulty logic board and that it would take 1 or 2 days to get a new part. It would be too expensive to replace the entire opener. No one ever called me back, so I have had to call multiple times to find out what happens next. It has been 15 days now. They don't seem to care because they already made the sale and this is just a warranty repair. I am still waiting. They say they have "supply chain" issues. They seem to be able to come up with new garage door openers for other customers. read more

We were happy to pay the bill but had a family emergency that prevented me from looking at my email and doing any business. In less than a week, I received a voice message from Olga threatening to send our bill to collections if it was not paid by the end of the day. So, we wait for many months to receive the doors, and Olga isn't able to even give us one week to respond. What did she think? We were going to remove the doors and leave the state with them? Most business give a "payable in 30 days" or "payable in 15 days" or, in this case, "payable on receipt." That's standard stuff. But to then threaten collections when I have not even disputed anything? Not even a week, and we are close to collections. I run a business, and I would be out of business if I had such a crappy customer service policy. Because of this experience, I would never recommend you. They looked my garage door and gave me two options (side mounted or traditional garage door openers. Of course there are many different garage door openers on the market. Low tech to hi-tech. I wanted to reduce the noise that my chain drive made. Precision private labels a Linear PDS 800 Newton unit that they charge about $1,000 for. But they add their warranty which adds 4 more years (three years on the battery back-up). Since my system was about 14 yrs. old, so i also added new springs and bearings. Do not ignored the low ratings! If you don't mind to be ripped off then by all mean give these guys a call The only reason I called this company is I had my motor and spring replaced by them a few years back ( the first technician showed up drunk and was not interested in repairing anything but that was last visit). If my spring is broken then it's still under the warranty offered by them. So I took a chance and called for service and told them I had a coupon good for $50 tune up after the lady on the phone offered me a $70 special. The technician showed up on time and was likable. When I showed him the coupon he told me they would honor it but informed me that the company forgot to tell me that there's a $20 " gas surcharge". I almost told him to leave but decided this is the last time I use their service so $20 more is not a big deal. Turned out he only needed to lubricate and tighten up some screws in less than 15 minutes. Don't get me wrong: these guys can get the jobs done but if you don't shop around then prepare to spend a lot more than you should. The individual who made the appointment says the technician has all of the different springs in the vehicle so will just select the correct spring for our door for a very reasonable price. The technician shows up (first he arrive at least an hour past the 8AM - 12PM window). Then he performs a safety review that I did not ask for. This is the second time they've come out when I had an emergency. The first was a busted track so the door was stuck and couldn't open. Our garage door assembly took a poo yesterday (Sunday) - called Precision and they schedule a technician to come out on Monday. Jesus, our service tech came out on time and gave us a professional assessment of our hardware and he was able to completely replace the motor and drive chain with a new system within a few hours. Jesus explained everything he had to do to get our old 2004 system up to speed. It was not the cheapest system, but I feel we received the best value and service. We are extremely happy with upgraded motor and operating system, and Jesus even programed our two automobiles to give us garage access from our cars. I have never had this new feature. Very excited!
