I bought a garage door from Precision over 11 yrs. ago, when my other door broke and that company couldn't come out for a few days to fix it and the door would not shut all the way. So i end up calling Precision that day and someone came out with in a couple hours and was able to get the door closed till it could be fixed. I ended up replacing the door and had Precision do the job. I liked that they came out the same day. Now the spring broke friday evening on my door and i call to have it looked at the next day some one came out, his name is Eric Stevens, he did a great job. I would proceed with caution with this company. Our appointment was on June 30th. The salesman was polite and showed up on time. He was going to check if the door we liked was in stock and call us back that day. We never received a call so we called the next morning because we had one other quote but had decided to go with Percision and give this young man the sale thinking he's just getting started in the world. The lady ( I'll leave her name out) said our price was wrong. We said we would still like to talk to the salesman. She said she would send him a message. By noon we hadn't heard and the other company was calling us because it was the last day of their sale so we told him he would hear from us by 4. So we called percision back got the same lady and we told her we had to do this today because their was a competing bid that we had to let them know by closing in order to get the sale price.She says"oh, then you should just go with them because I don't know when your salesman will call you back"....huh? No one there can complete this sale? All she said was she would send another message to the salesperson and tell him it was urgent. We never did hear from anybody! We of course went with the competitor Mesa Garage door. I called Percision again yesterday morning to lodge a complaint and was told the managers were not available but they would have them call me. As of this writing still haven't heard from anyone including the women that said she would send a message that it was urgent to call us because I left a message on her voice mail also yesterday Update Thanks for the reply. Was disappointed with "Sergio," the person sent out to "take of the slack" of the previous person who worked on the installation of our new torsion springs, plus new rollers, etc....Things worked for a while, but not real well.... When coming home today, the garage door would not open until I tried it about three or four times, with pausing in between. And, this problem has happened a few times before, but we let it go....I have replaced a lot of garage doors, rails, motors and springs over the last 20 yrs., because of having a business that included these job offers, plus having taken care of many personal garage door problems throughout my 80 years hitherto on this earth. Nevertheless, my main reason for writing this review is because both my wife and I feel that Sergio had no personality while taking care of the door spring issue (which should have been done right the first time around), and also carried a condescending attitude throughout his time here.... David was the first point of contact from this company. No hard sell with me. He gave me a far estimate for installation of a new door along with haul away of my old door and springs. His estimate was less that the previous two company's. Before he left he stated that Olga would be calling to set up and installation appointment. I had another great experience with precision garage door services. The technician Sergio Molina was friendly, informative and professional. I had a problem on Friday evening with my garage and it would not close so I called precision garage and Sergio out at 9 pm. He worked on my garage for an hour and was able to get it closed. Two men showed up one wearing mask, the second with his pulled down below his nose. That alone was a disqualified, but going ahead the first thing that did a=was to tell me the garage door opener should be replaced every 7-10 years and mine was in danger of failure. They estimated a cost of $2700 to replace the opener with extras like an outside keypad adding more to that price. After I said no they finally got around to the 10 minute process of rebooting the opener so it worked properly again. Estimated time 2 hrs, $395 read more
