I wish I could give a zero star review. Do not waste your time, energy, and money. Carlos came out for the initial sealing appointment, collected his money, and was basically non responsive after that. When we finally got a response from him, he scheduled an appointment and cancelled that morning. This happened twice and both times he gave some outlandish excuse. He had no intentions of showing up in the first place. He did completely stand me up once and again gave me some crazy excuse and never truly apologized. Aside from not fulfilling his contract, he lied. He told me he placed traps in my crawl space. When I sent someone else down there, there were no traps. There are so many other things I could write about but to keep a long story short, stay far far far away from this company. read more

So glad we found Jonathan and partner (so sorry I forgot his name) to solve our rat problem. We recently moved into a new place and within a month we started hearing scurrying noises in the ceiling. Honestly it really freaked me out and I wanted a solution fast. After being kept awake on a Friday night, I called as many rodent removal places as I could to try and get someone out ASAP. The first place that was able to send someone Saturday didn't bring a ladder or anything to actually get up on the roof and check it out. He basically told us that since we have a Spanish tile roof, we're SOL and should just do a maintenance control service every other month to reduce the issue. Thankfully I kept my appointment with Precision the next day because they came with ladders to properly assess the situation. Jonathan located several open vents into the space beneath the roof that had evidence of rats entering. He sealed most of them and left a one-way door on the other to let the rat out, but not get back in. They came back a couple times to check on it and reinstall the door after it came off (probably due to wind because we have bamboo that hits that area or possibly the rat trying desperately to get back in). After a few days, we didn't hear any activity again, so they came back a final time to seal the last vent. So far so good! I felt like Jonathan was very knowledgeable and provided a solution that didn't require a monthly plan or anything, which was very honest after we told him about the other quote we got. This is a much needed review- I have worked with over 6 exterminators in the San Francisco area. All of them (save these guys) have not been reliable and did half the job needed to rid us of our persistent mouse issue. I absolutely detest having to deal with this stuff. I will say these guys came and did the job right. We contacted all our neighbors to seal off every side of our house (a pain but the only way to ensure that these issues stop for once and for all). And then they came every single week at the exact same time to check the traps. We needed to recheck the sealing job and they came back no questions asked. They say they'll do a warranty and come each week but they do absolutely nothing. I've mentioned multiple times that the mouse is getting behind the dishwasher, and yet the refuse to do anything about it, pull out the dishwasher, or even cover up the holes behind the dishwasher. Rodent proofing yelp review Jonathon was the first to reply on my yelp request. He surprised me on how young he was and on how knowledgeable he was in the business. He has been doing this for a few years now. They came out right away and inspected all crawl spaces , garage, and vents on the exterior of the house. He knew right away it was a rat infection and gave me a quote. I had several quotes that day. I decided on Percision rodent proofing from the very beginning with the great impression I had gotten. He matched the other quotes I had gotten that day. I always go with my gut feeling and I'm always right. He was the only one that said he would go in underneath the whole house and clean up the droppings, not only just the openings of the crawl space and only where there was a lot of it. I felt better that the "whole" space underneath the house was cleaned. Not a lot of companies will go in the crawl space and that was low in height. He had no issues and his crew was great as well. They scheduled the job right away and he brought his crew. Carlos his partner and Chaz his tech was great as well. Carlos did such a neat job on the vents throughout the outside of the house, and even up at the top of the eves. What is also nice is that when all clear (no signs of droppings/ mouse traps empty) they guarantee their work for 1 whole year. Even after if I hear noises or find droppings again they will come back and take care of the issue! Peace of mind that they do not leave you if there are issues after the job. It's been almost 4 weeks now and we finally caught 3 this wLast week with the traps being empty but being triggered. They were fast/smart and not get caught. So they decided to putting down pellets that make the "drunk" haha. Well that evening my daughter heard them going crazy in up in the ceiling. This past week jonathan came by and sure enough there was 3 caught. They also put new-more advanced traps in place and we will wait til next week to have it checked. All in all I am very happy with the work that these young men do! They are professional/polite! They come prepared with masks and gloves and foot covers. I will definitely recommend them in a heartbeat! They might be young but they are a mighty team. Oh on top of the rodent proofing they also do landscaping! That is next on the list for me! Mice are seen in my house. I found Carlos from Yelp. He gave me an affordable price and showed up the next day. However he didn't inspect the house very thoroughly. He set traps and said will revisit, but never called to schedule. As expected, the proofing doesn't work. I called multiple times, finally got him to revisit, but what he did still doesn't work. The door gap and area behind dishwasher are not proofed. So I am still having mice running in the house after more than 2 months! I am trying to schedule a 3rd visits, but kind of lost faith in his services read more

Very timely! They were out here doing the project only a few days after I reached out. I also really appreciate that they were willing to be flexible cutting back their normal protocol to a single visit so that we could do all of the patch repairs without going over budget! The folks from Precision were really wonderful to work with. Brenda (scheduling) was quick to respond to our inquiry. She set us up with an inspection right away. The technicians who worked on our problem were without fail polite, tidy, efficient, and explained clearly what they were doing and why. They sealed all the spots that rats had found to get into the house. Next, they set traps and came weekly for about two months to inspect them. Carlos and his team are a pleasure to work with. I hired them in January this year to get rid of the rats in my attic crawl space. They were prompt and very thorough with the clean up. They provide great service, they don't charge for the first time inspection, which is great and nice! They send a technician come to do the inspection, and tell me what is the whole process to solve problem. It takes about three hours for the first appointment to do the works, and come to check once a week until your problem is solved. They did a good job, and I don't see any activities happen right now. Do NOT hire them. Our initial experience about ten months ago with this team was solid, but it seems the individuals responsible for actually following up and honoring calls/scheduling/services have left the "business". I have been attempting to get them to honor their warranty and complete the job since late August (it's now mid November). Carlos finally showed up once, without any of the materials I had relayed that he'd need (eg flashing), promised to come back, and has been completely awol. Their mailbox is full and no longer receiving messages, they are unresponsive to texts, and even reaching out through Venmo was a bust. Carlos asked me to put up a review towards the beginning of my one-year warranty, and I did so out of good faith. I unfortunately need to update this review. As my one-year warranty nears expiration, Carlos has become completely unresponsive to all of my attempts to get in touch about new signs of rodent infestation. Numerous emails, yelp messages and phone calls have all been ignored. The silence is unprofessional and seems to be a pattern based on other recent reviews. I am disappointed that someone trying to run a business would choose to operate in this way. At the same time, this is simply the latest in a series of disappointing experiences with Precision Rodent Proofing. When Carlos first inspected our property, he said he would seal all crawlspace vents from the inside, which is really what I was looking for. However, after I paid and they came to do this work he said this would be too difficult to do. Thus began the spray foaming. Spray foam everywhere. This is 100% their go-to strategy. Does it work? Sure, for the most part. Is it worth $800? Absolutely not. There was no attempt to clean up. No attempt to make it look professional. It's the same as what I would have done myself, except I would have cleaned up the area and made it look _more_ professional than what they did all over the outside of our house. Another frustration in working with Precision Rodent Proofing is how disorganized and unprepared they were to do the work. I would set up an appointment, describe a specific issue and send photos. I would leave work early to meet a "technician," and then have them often show up late, completely unprepared and unequipped to do any work whatsoever. At times I was clear that roof work was needed, yet the person would show up with a 3-foot ladder, or no ladder at all. If there was a rat to be disposed of, often I had to provide trash bags and gloves to the technician. Almost half of my appointments wound up being a waste of time where the technician would look around with me and "inspect" issues I'd already identified and sent photos detailing. As they weren't equipped to do any work, I would then have to schedule a second appointment to actually have the work done. With spray foam, of course. When I made the decision to hire Carlos I understood that he offered a more basic and economical service, and it was likely he would need to return for follow ups. You get what you pay for. Up until now I was willing to take the sloppy spray foam and the wasted appointments in stride. But to have a company blatantly disregard their commitments and warranty and "ghost" their clients is a new low, and I would not pay this company a dime if I were you. read more

Jonathan and Carlos were impressive throughout. Jonathan responded promptly and was able to come in the same day. He was properly suited with mask, gloves, shoe covers and was able to catch the rodent inside the house and proceeded with laying out the plan moving forward. Jonathan and Carlos came the next day and did a comprehensive professional job (fixing all screens, cleaning the crawl space, replacing the crawl space door that was warped, inspecting, sealing cleaning all points of entry inside and outside the house and setting traps). Both Jonathan and Carlos were courteous, efficient, thorough and had endless patience to answer all the questions we had. I called Jonathan to help take care of a mouse problem in our apartment. He was the only one willing to come out next day. Every other place I called would quote us an appointment a week out!! Jonathan came inspected the entire place, sealed up all entry points, set traps, cleaned, and made sure no mice were hanging out in the apartment. They did work about 11 months ago and it was a decent job with good follow up. But we discovered a problem after 11 months and they have been unresponsive and did not honor the one year warranty. Once all potential entry points were identified and sealed, he also put a few traps out. Then I later learned that he sold his portion of the business to his partner Carlos -- no wonder because we had a few weeks where there were no follow up from them. But nevertheless Carlos was able to pick back up where Jonathan left things and with the help with his associate Jacob we observed that the treatment plan was working, and now we have a year of warranty to call them back if we find any more rodent droppings. This company is professional, honest, speedy with quality. When I have rodent issues on my ceiling, I called Jonathan. He quickly replied me to come next day. He and his partner well prepared with all tools and come to fix all the vents appropriately. They applied foam to stuff the holes and strong mesh to cover the holes. it is very good for me. Great, reliable rodent proofing company (that we found through Yelp)! They did a thorough job rodent-proofing our home after mice and rats started digging holes through the interior walls. Then, they followed up as needed to ensure that the house was indeed rodent-proofed before starting their 1-year warranty. A few months after their work was complete, we thought that rodents had returned (which they hadn't), and the company was very quick to honor their warranty and returned as needed to inspect multiple times at our request. Their diligence in handling our needs have always helped us feel confident that our home is indeed rodent-free! The best part? Every employee + the owner, Carlos, have been so respectful towards my young children and me, answering all our questions as thoroughly as possible without ever making us feel unheard.
