Their outdoor seating is nice, and it tends to get very busy during their lunchtime, and I'm sure it's even busier during weekends, so plan accordingly. I opted for their pasta of the day per recommendation of our server, and I'm so happy I did. It was very flavorful and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and just as I liked it.5/5. I also ordered their strawberry matcha, which sadly wasn't great. It was water down and didn't taste a hint of strawberry. Unfortunately, it was a total letdown since I was looking forward to it. Our server provided decent customer service. It was busy at first, but then it calmed down after the large party and three other smaller parties left. Overall, it was a positive experience since my food was deliciously good.

Enjoyed Easter brunch on the patio. Cant go wrong. We were seated pretty quick and the service is always good. Love the food. Seems like they do a really good job of balancing a meal. Breakfast is always a hit! Good access to the trail as well. Get reservations, this place is always busy. Looking forward to my next visit!

I want to start that we did come on a Saturday during bruch/lunch time with no reservation. The wait to get seated wasn't too bad about 25 minutes but it took longer than expected to get our order taken and food to arrive. The ambiance was a lot of families but I loved all the greenery. The food was good, cute little spot to eat with friends especially when coming from the desert so we don't have much green here.

3.5 stars, salads were fresh and decently tasty. Hummus dip was okay too. I really love the location here right by the walking trail. Service was great, and nice having doggies around on the patio. Nothing too special but we liked!

One of the better patios in the Fort Worth area. I think I liked it because the place itself is kind of secluded. It's right next to a bicycle store, but those are the only two businesses there and there's a large parking lot. The area is surrounded by greenery and the Trinity is right there. My friends, husband and I weren't too hungry so we shared a bunch of items - famous medi dip, the charcuterie board, and the house ricotta with toasted ciabatta. Everything had so much flavor! I really enjoyed all of it and it was so filling! Our server was wonderful. Husband, friends, and I were actually meeting to go over some trivia questions for a trivia night we were hosting at church and our server was actually playing along with us for a few questions. Besides trivia, he's also great at recommending dishes because he's the one who recommended the house ricotta and the medi dip. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because we checked in and it took us maybe 20-30 mins to get seated, even though the host (which I think was the GM) said they were just clearing off a table. We were standing off to the side of the host stand, close to the bathrooms, because there's not really any place to sit and wait. I had to check in with another hostess to see if we can get sat and she said, "oh yeah, I can seat you now" like they forgot we were there. So I would recommend making reservations so they don't forget about you.

Press Cafe is conveniently located by the Trails and Trinity River area. I stopped by with my friends after our 6 mile hike and really looked forward to a hearty brunch after the trek. Outdoors seating has excellent views and great ambience with fresh air, trees, and sunshine. Hospitality by the staff was excellent. Servers were attentive despite the hustle and bustle. Typical wait times can be 30 min-1 hour if reservations are not made in advance on the weekends as this is a popular spot. The food did not live up to expectations however. I knew I'd be paying on the pricier side but portions were disappointing. I got the Wagyu burger (labeled ambiguously on menu as there are various grades and qualities that correlate). It would be nice if the restaurant was more transparent on menu. Keep in mind that meat from a cow with any % of Wagyu breed in them can be considered Wagyu beef. I'm not expecting anything fancy but transparency would be appreciated. With a burger at this price, I anticipated fries but was disappointed to see that it came with the house made chips. Also not mentioned in the menu. I could just eat chips at home. At a proper sit down place, fries should be offered with the menu. Taste of the burger was average - nothing too impressive. For my friends who ordered mimosas, the glasses came out dirty with stains. The server was very kind and changed out the glass but quality control and inspection should be maintained from staff washing dishes. Overall, excellent location, ambience, and service from very attentive waiters/waitresses but overpriced, mid-quality food and portions.

I liked their brunch options and especially their orange juice. It does get pretty busy so service can be a bit slow. Overall, I enjoy sitting on the patio when the weather is nice

I cannot say enough positive things about my surprise experience here. I was visiting a nearby wine bar with a coworker that ran over into the late afternoon and realized this place was just a few minutes walk away so I could strike it off my to-do list-- but I severely wish I had come here first with an appetite! My server was incredibly friendly and had perfect recs to rattle off right away in between talking about the restaurant and his delightful tattoos. The goat cheese appetizer brought me into my teen years eating hot olive oil on a hot day looking across the Mediterranean Sea. When I come back, there's no doubt that I will share it with friends while trying some new entrees I didn't have room for. The margarita was also perfectly made with a nice foam from the egg whites. All of this situated on a covered patio nestled against a lovely walking path between the trinity and the shops at Clearfork. Truly the best way to have spent a solo afternoon!

I absolutely love coming to Press Cafe. It's one of my go to's in Fort Worth, whether that be for a special meal with family, celebrations with friends, or date nights. (Little side note: I'm convinced that this is the absolute best spot for a first date in FW!) I'll be honest, the food here is decent, but I mainly come here for the nice environment and ambiance. I usually make a reservation for the patio because it's shaded and strung with pretty lights. The wait times can be a while if you don't have a reservation, but you're able to go on a walk on the trail while you wait. There's also the Clearfork's Farmer's Market right next door on Saturdays from 8-12, perfect for stopping before or after lunch/brunch. I most recently came to celebrate my birthday. We started with the caramelized brussel sprouts, which was yummy (maybe a bit too caramelized for my liking). I usually order the trailhead chicken salad, which never disappoints, but I switched things up with the ancient grain rice bowl with chicken, which honestly was not my favorite. Not sure if it was the sauce, but I'll stick with my chicken salad in the future. For dessert, we shared a cookie skillet topped with a scoop of ice cream, which was a perfect way to end the birthday dinner. Our server even went the extra mile trying to light the candle in the midst of the wind, which was special. Whenever I come for brunch, I can never go wrong with the breakfast sandwich. Also, they have my favorite espresso martini's in the FW area. The cinnamon they add on top makes it perfect! There's plenty of lot parking located in front, and additional gravel parking in the back. Overall, Press is one of my Fort Worth staples, and I highly recommend it!

Really good food and ambiance! I highly recommend making a reservation as they were quite busy on a Friday night but we were able to go straight to our table when we arrived. The food was a hit! Their menu has a variety to choose from and a little bit for everyone. We started with the brussel sprouts and truffle fries, both were magnificent! Our mains were their chicken parmesan which was incredibly flavorful and their Trail Head Chicken Salad which we enjoyed every bit of. They are a bit pricier but it's a wonderful spot for a date night!

We went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We sat on the patio. Just be careful of the birds. It's a great view to enjoy with family/friends Food was delicious all around. I had ordered a burger well done and I cut it in half well it was still red in the middle. They remade my whole order plus took it off my check which most places don't do that. We tried there garlic potatoes omg amazing! Chicken and waffles are good. The omelette was delicious! Services was really great! I will most definitely be back.

Margarita. Tasty and hits the spot.

While we were there, I observed employees loading whole oranges into the fresh orange juice machine. Several oranges fell onto the floor, and I watched the employees pick the oranges up and place them back into the hopper to be juiced. The only question he asked was, "Do you know how many oranges fell onto the floor?" I replied that the number wasn't the issue. My concern was that oranges that had contacted the floor were being put back into the juicer. I did not feel my concern was taken seriously, and I requested the owner's contact information. I did not receive it. Because I believe this is a serious food safety concern, I reported this to the Highland Village Code Enforcement Division for investigation. We were excited to celebrate a special occasion here, but instead we left concerned about the restaurant's food handling practices and the response from management. Based on what I personally witnessed, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! Not a coffee drinker, but my hubby really enjoyed the coffee that is sourced from Cusco, Peru. Adriana made sure that the cups were always full and hot. Thank you for the VIP service at Fixe Southern House. Resident discount applied. Born from Opelousas, Louisiana, breakfast served with a huge helping of southern hospitality. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

Overall the room was very nice.. I was surprised by the complete cement room but shockingly it was perfect, the bed is comfortable however the pillows are very big. My neck does not do well with thick pillows and these were very thick. The bar was mediocre and the bar tender struggled to keep up with customers and wasn't very friendly. Overall it was a good hotel and a fun experience.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? Bet you didn't know you were about to take a full shower! I'm not sure the building codes in Dallas, but apparently you can get away with installing dollhouse fixtures here. Choose another property just simply so you don't have to deal with the hassle.
