Yes I know, we are the couple that goes to a steakhouse and orders seafood...... in a landlocked city no less. But the swordfish and the Salmon were excellent as was the service.

Our evening began with a customary gesture at the elevator entrance. A complimentary glass of Prosecco. Always a nice way to start the evening. What a better way to enjoy the spectacular view on the elevator ride up. Small touches like these stay with you. Having dinner at Prime: A Shula's Steakhouse was a wonderful idea. It was indeed a memorable visit. Beginning with the 11th floor ambiance with a grand magnificent view, the reception service received, and the food prepared with superb attention. It was pretty Wow! This visit, the ordering was as follows: *Prime bread service-Focaccia bread $10 but very worth the extra $ *Beef Carpaccio with a horses' kick horseradish that is amazing! *Crispy Octopus- nice *French Onion soup-very cheesy delish *32oz Dry Aged Tomahawk 5stars!! *Branzino- charred to a tasty perfection yet flakey interior. Superb *Whipped potatoes so creammmmy *Jumbo asparagus al dente good *Cheesecake! *Chocolate Mousse! A feast with portions so large, had to take some to-go. Must make mention of Alejandro our server and Mark taking care of the wine service. Both were attentive and the main reason we'll be back. Thank you gentlemen! ps...You will miss out if you don't take a drink from the bar and await the setting sun. Gorgeously breathtaking. We have vowed to come more often and devour more food and wine! Cheers! As always thank you for reading!

I met up with a couple of my girlfriends here for And after work drink. I had a spicy margarita and it was absolutely wonderful! I also had some of the oysters and they were fabulous and I had the wood fire shrimp and they were wonderful. I'm giving them four stars because the service was a little slow. I ordered a drink and it took 10 to 12 minutes for me to get my drink. The bartenders were very friendly, but it was just a little slow. The atmosphere was nice although the music was just a bit loud. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. The best part is that you get a glass of Prosecco as you ride up the elevator to the 11th floor to the restaurant. That's really nice! Nice touch!

Our experience at the bar while waiting for our table was excellent. My Manhattan was made perfectly, and Jonny recommended a fantastic spirit. Once we were seated, our waitress came over almost immediately. My girlfriend ordered the half roasted chicken, which she really enjoyed. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare, with asparagus on the side. Unfortunately, my steak was slightly overcooked and overly seasoned. Overall, I'd give this place 2.5 stars. The atmosphere leans more toward a nightclub vibe, with loud music and very few intimate or quieter spaces.

Had reservations for 2 before a comedy show here at the casino and decided to book dinner at PRIME. We had complimentary champagne when checking in for our reservation which was great but our food did come out slow compared to others who arrived later than us and got their food first. The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked to my liking. The Brussels sprouts and carrot sides were beautifully roasted as well. The fresh oysters and shrimp cocktail were a delightful start to the meal as well. Overall I'd come back if in the area and have another show I'm attending at the casino

February 14Valentine's wanted to try this restaurant for sometime as my son said it was worth it! The steaks and crabcake did not disappoint. I love the diver scallops truffle mac & cheese was to die for it provided enough for three meals. Alejandro staff did a wonderful job keeping our iced tea. Refreshed bread service was delicious.

My partner, daughter and I came here last week for dinner reservations at 6:45 pm. The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the beautiful sunset while you're dining. During better weather, I would have opted for outdoor seating. Service was great. We started with drinks -- I don't remember the name of the drink I ordered but it was well-balanced, bright and refreshing. My partner ordered the fun drink that comes in a wooden smoking box. The server brings out the drink and there is a pair of dice. If you call out a number and roll that number with the dice, they comp your drink. We tried 3 times and didn't win but it was a super fun experience and opportunity! To start, we had the short rib croquette -- it was a great plate to share and came with a pickle herb salad and an aioli for dipping. Super tasty! I really enjoyed the herby brightness that the pickle salad brought to the dish. For our entrees, we both ordered ribeyes and shared truffle Mac and cheese. My daughter shared with us and loved the steak. However, my partner thought it was extremely salty. In fact, he thought everything was too salty (the steak and the Mac and cheese). I feel like my steak had spots that were definitely over salted but I think his was much more saturated. He ate it still regardless. To end our meal, we had the Basque Cheesecake. It was a different style than I've had but tasty nonetheless. Again, my partner felt like the dessert was also salty (I believe it was the graham cracker crust that he felt was salty). It was also served with fruit that I felt didn't go well with the cheesecake (I would have preferred something like strawberries). For the price, I would have liked my partner to have enjoyed his food more. It was disappointing for that reason. I'll give them another shot again eventually -- perhaps it was a one off evening.

I can't say enough good things about Prime. The service is wonderful--attentive and friendly, and they really do go above and beyond for guests. The food is excellent--I loved everything, particularly the bread, the onion soup and the steaks. (One quibble--the lobster on the surf and turf comes with a chili butter, which overpowers it, in my opinion. If I were to order it again, I would ask for plain butter.) The wine list is massive and includes glasses and bottles in all price points. (I took photos of the entire thing, but there's a cap on photos--message me if you're curious.) Overall, I think the location on the edge of town makes people discount Prime as an option for high-end dining, but it shouldn't. It's worth the drive.

If for nothing else, go for the views. The food is unnecessarily expensive. I had fries, a salad, and two drinks, my food was $90. Nothing about this says $90. You're 100% paying for the views. The bread service is $10, fyi. They don't tell you that, just ask if you're ready for bread. It's decent but charging for something that every other restaurant with better food gives you for free is insane. Eat dinner at home then go for drinks. The sunset is second to none. The food... ehh I had truffle fries and a Caesar that was maybe 4 pieces of Roman with parm. I had a better salad at Etta that was around the same price. You all should be ashamed of what you offer as a salad. I've had better for less than $10 at salad and go.

Visited for my birthday dinner and had an amazing time. The service was excellent and very attentive. I received a birthday treat which included caviar, shrimp cocktail, and an oyster it was tasty. I then ordered steak with sides (mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts) very tasty and flavorful as well. I love the intimate atmosphere this place gives and the views from the rooftop are stunning. I would recommend visiting right before sunset to have the best sunset view.

The vibe, atmosphere & indoor and outdoor seating was amazing! We had a very large party so the service was much slower than we had expected and our table was not ready when we arrived. However, we were given additional champagne for the wait & some appetizers that were on the house. I do wish that someone had mentioned what was given to us because we wouldn't have ordered so many appetizers. The waiters were great during the meal, but were extremely slow to bring us their checks. All of the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed it all, drinks, apps and entrees. I had the small steak, the asparagus app and the garlic rice & Mac & cheese. I would absolutely go back and order it all again!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting -- perfect for a special evening or occasion. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout the night. The steaks were cooked to perfection -- tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. Every bite showed real care and quality. The sides complemented the meal beautifully, and the wine selection was excellent, with our server helping us pick the perfect pairing. Overall, an exceptional dining experience that balances great food, a cozy yet classy ambiance, and top-notch service. Additionally had wonderful Mountain View's, would suggest going around sunset. Definitely one of the best steakhouses around -- we'll be back soon!

Very elegant place our server Victoria was very knowledgeable and sweet willing to joke with me. The food was surprisingly, really good. I was a little bit scared because of the reviews I saw online, but the food was awesome. The potatoes were some of the best potatoes I've ever had in my life. The bread had a really good texture and the steak was cooked to perfection. The drinks were very strong, but still had a good flavor overall great experience in great service.

They were not just confirming the reservation but asking which type of table we'd like, any mobility issues (as there is seating upstairs as well as the main floor) and what, if any, was the occasion. When we arrived for our 5pm reservation, we were instantly seated and met our AMAZING server Kay. She was an absolute gem. Our daughters have Celiac which Kay was incredibly attentive to. She was kind, funny and helpful. We'll definitely be sitting in her section again! The ambiance is beautiful and bright allowing the natural sunlight in. The live piano player was fantastic, calming and not too loud. The food was top notch. We've been to other steakhouses and the salt used, has always made us feel bloated and swollen walking out especially in the AZ heat. Elliot's was refreshing and none of us felt the need to hydrate after. We'll be coming back soon. Whether it's just a date night for my husband and I or an entire family celebration, Elliot's has become our go to. PS: the manager went above and beyond for us. Our daughter purchased my husband and I a gift certificate at Christmas. She didn't e-claim the certificate and we had intended to use it towards our family dinner. After calling the restaurant, the manager went through the 60 transactions of gift certificates on the date ours was purchased and applied it prior to us arriving. My partner had a French 75 that she really enjoyed. For dinner, we both ordered the 6 oz filet medium. She chose the demi-glace and I had the bone marrow butter, which was absolutely delicious. We also shared the French fries, and they were excellent. The only disappointment was that both of our steaks came out closer to medium-rare than medium. The flavor was very good, but the undercooking left the filets a little chewier than we prefer and they were missing that tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture we expect from a properly cooked filet. That said, we enjoyed the atmosphere, cocktails, sauces and sides, and had a very nice birthday dinner. There was a lot to like about Elliott's. I'd definitely give them another visit--I'd just be a little more specific about the steak temperature next time.

My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. We tried the chicharonnes, which we did enjoy, but the avocado purée that accompanied it tasted very preserved - Possibly with citrus or something else? The tortillas also did not have much flavor. They tasted almost like something pre-packaged that you could purchase in the store. I expect more robust flavor profiles for House-made tortillas. We also tried the ribeye which we ordered medium rare but it came out medium well+. When we told our server about the steak, she did offer to have it remade but we hate wasting food so we declined the offer. We wanted to try the tres Leches cake because we saw another table order it and it looked so interesting. We didn't want the ice cream on top so we asked if there was anyway they could sub out the scoop of ice cream for a single small churro. Our server told us if we purchased the churros, she would give us the Tres Leches on the house to make up for the steak mishap. We accepted the deal though I don't think it appropriately addressed the issue. The tres leches was dense and firm, not like any other that tres leches I've ever had. The churros had a filling (either cajeta or dulce de leche - I really couldn't distinguish) that in my opinion, did not add value. I would've preferred a percentage off the bill or some other proposal to make it right. It just really wasn't there for me. I've talked to several people in the East Valley about this restaurant since I dined there, and seems my experience was shared among those people too.

The evening in ambiance was very nice, perfect for a romantic date. There's a second building between the front and the courtyard that's very open and inviting. We shared the pimento cheese dip with chicharrones and the sauce was so good we wrote down the description to try to make it ourselves later. I had the King salmon and my partner had the crab linguine. The crab was delectable, highly recommend. The salmon was good but a little on the dry side. For dessert we were too full to have anything rich so we went with the banana cream tart. Definitely a good option to try! It was delicious but light enough to eat after a big dinner.

We were very disappointed in our experience. My husband was excited about having the Osso Bucco and I was planning to have Branzino, but we were quickly informed that they were out of both! So then the server talked us into the Dover Sole, which we then ordered. A few minutes later, the manager came to inform us they were out of the Dover Sole so we would need to pick another entree . We also ordered bottle of wine and then informed they were out of that kind of wine. So I ordered the Chilean Seabass and my husband ordered risotto. My husband did enjoy his risotto. The Seabass was very disappointing. It was tough. I had to cut it with a knife. It was very bland! Then we decided to order dessert and we were immediately told they were out of the cannolis ,my husband's favorite. We did order the crêpes which were delicious and prepared at the table. We were quite disappointed in our experience here tonight. Very sad because we really enjoyed this restaurant and we're excited about having a fine dining option in downtown Chandler.

Both were made to perfection. Great flavor and so tender. A perfect start to the dinner. We had the Caprese and Caesar Salad next. Both had solid flavors, but the Caesar was our favorite. What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. The cannelloni for dessert was perfectly Italian with awesome flavors. A perfectly compliment to an amazing dinner. This is a gem is Chandler!!! Thank you to Aqua Di Mare for making this an amazing experience.

The heirloom tomato appetizer was tasted reall fresh and the sauce was good. I built my own pasta with uncle Arthur's sausage, mushroom truffle and the wide noodles. It was really good and a good serving size. I saw another table order the 5 foot long stada board and it looked really good, I'll have to try that next time. I skipped desserts but will have to try that next time as well. The decor was nice, service was prompt. Our server was attentive and always refilled waters when they were low. Sometimes parking out front can be a little hard but there's more parking in the back.

I went to the other side of the restaurant where they have gelato and other desserts. I got a couple of cannolis and they were delicious! I didn't try the gelato but they looked really good, I'll definitely try it next time!

We decided to sit at the bar. There were three male staffers. They seemed somewhat friendly, but didn't go out of their way to engage with the guest as much as they did each other. We started with a few drinks since happy hour was still going and had about 30 minute's till it ended. Also, we decided to get a few foods to share-that were a really good deal versus their regular menu prices. Got the Caesar Salad that was extremely salty! Did a side of fries which come with 3 dipping sauces and their valley wings which were both very good. My son got (as his main meal) the Aftermath Burger and tots which he seemed to enjoy. My husband had their burrata salad which was surprisingly delicious. Fresh & fantastic, cool, crisp and refreshing. I had the Rigatoni Alla Vodka spicy! Good, but could have had a bit more heat. That said, the serving size for the price was pretty fair. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Food was decent and the happy hour menu was actually excellent! Our server could have been a bit more attentive. However, will be a place we would definitely revisit especially during their super happy hour timeframe.

The French toast was a little burnt this time, but it was still delicious--soft on the inside and full of flavor. The breakfast sandwich was okay; I expected it to be more on the level of their burger, which I really enjoy. The huevos rancheros were flavorful and satisfying, making them a standout breakfast option. What always makes the experience worth it is the service. It's consistently quick, friendly, and attentive every visit. Even when one dish isn't perfect, Born & Bred still delivers a great overall experience. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for breakfast or brunch.
