Well, I can only say that the balcony dining experience is excellent IF the weather is perfect and you don't a draft if sitting near the double doors that are constantly opening and closing. OF COURSE, the view and music of the fountains are grandiose. No questions about it. If this is your vision to be had, please come here to sit and dine for an hour or so. It's bit louder and noisier than inside the dining room. But honestly having walked thru the main dining room a few times to reach the restrooms, it's a bit stuffy. It has an excellent vibe of comfort and high end. Attention to detail is everywhere from the ambiance to the staff professionalism. But this is not unique to PRIME. What is unique is the balcony dining experience. Food is great. Truffled anything is on my list to try. I had the rib cap and was a little surprised how it turned out compared to when I prepare it myself at home. It was perhaps too well done? Cut differently? Not sure. But certainly was different than my expectation. But as with all steak houses, it's hard to impress me anymore because after experiencing so many, what everyone is serving is the same. Beef in all its glory of cuts, "done-ness," and sauces is relatively finite. At least conservatively so. And the sides are variations on what you know...save "truffled" anything...keke. So come hungry. Come with a thick wallet. And prepare for a meal with some stories to tell your children... Came here 05/25/2024. I recently had a fantastic meal at Prime Steakhouse in Bellagio. This was around 8 PM as a walk in party of 1. They usually put party of 1 at the bar, but because I have Noir status I was able to sit at a table. Unfortunately as I did not have a reservation, I was unable to get a good view of the fountains or outdoor seating. Make sure you make a reservation in advance. I put recent pictures of the menu up. I had the petite seafood tower, dry-aged ribeye, and loaded baked potato. Everything was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the oysters and lobster in the seafood tower, I highly recommend those. Prime is now a Vegas tradition with my family whenever we come to the Bellagio. We've been here many times here and it's always a fantastic meal and experience They are located down the escalator by the shops and often times I've seen guests wander down there mistakenly thinking it's a way out to the Strip. They are very strict about their dress code, primarily about not wearing shorts (oops) and so I was told to head back and change. So make sure you are dressed appropriately. The team here is wonderful and so is the food. We were able to have a wonderful meal. They even have an outdoor dining patio area which we were able to sit last time when we were there during the summer. It was really great to enjoy the fountains while dining outside. Their house bread was amazing here. That my mom even wanted it to go. We started it off with a Caesar salad and a French onion soup it was also amazing. We then got porterhouse for 2 and a bunch of different sides as well. We've gotten the baked potato which is humongous, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, creamed spinach, and many others. To end our meal, we got the baked Alaska and the passion fruit cheesecake. And they're both very picturesque or you're able to take a video of them. Prime Steakhouse, was an absolute pleasure to visit while being in Vegas. I decided on the fattiest steak, but next time a filet mignon would have been ideal. The sides were amazing; the creamiest mac and cheese. Don't even get me started in the mashed potatoes, smooth and so buttery.... Get the waterfront table. The one right by the gate to the Bellagio fountains. Nothing will be the same. Ever. Anywhere else. Forever. Just do it. I dined here a week ago with 3 close friends on the recommendation of my Bellagio casino host. If you thought the fountain views from Spago were good, Prime's fountain-front tables are SPECTACULAR! One weird appetizer to highlight here was the crispy salmon sushi, which I thought was incorrectly titled. It's salmon sashimi on crispy rice, much like the popular crispy rice tuna you'll find elsewhere, but this was done very, very well. We ended up ordering a second dish. It goes without saying that the meat quality was as top-notched as expected, and among the greats of Vegas steakhouses. We had the soy-garlic glazed New York strip, and the dry-aged bone-in ribeye. To be completely honest, the soy-glaze on the strip did not work for me. It took away from the steak. So while I liked the beef itself, I didn't enjoy the flavor from the glaze, which I think would have been better for something like skirt steak. The ribeye was better with the peppercorn sauce, though I used a little trick from a club in London, and mixed a little bearnaise sauce with the peppercorn sauce, and enjoyed it way better. Dinner was a solid 4-stars, but if I do want to highlight their 5-star baked Alaska, which is my favorite childhood dessert. I hadn't had good baked Alaska in 3 decades, and this was so good I was 12 again for 20 minutes. In fact, it was so good I didn't want to share it, and I 'Karen-ed' my way through dessert, limiting everyone else's access. It was MY memory, and MY order! BRING BACK THE BREAD ROLLS from 2023 please! The new assorted bread is underwhelming. The pretzel one is too salty, the plain is very hard, & the cheese bread is - cheesy. I may sound ridiculous but the old bread was life changing. The filet is soooo tender & good. I barely have to chew. The mashed potatoes is a good amount - can be shared with 2-3 people and it's delicious. The brussel sprouts are so soft and flavorful. No free soft drink refills, they will charge you for each one. If it's your birthday or anniversary, they'll give you a complimentary dessert but it's super tiny, a sampler size. Overall, I'd come back from the steak & sides. Some how are waiter in asking us if we like certain things took it upon himself to actually order us add one to the appetizer. 2 ppl for an anniversary somehow got charged for a 300$ upgraded not just 1 but 2 appetizers of the same thing. This place is delicious and I loved the ambience here. It was a Sunday night with a 10:15p reservation. We stayed at the Cosmo and it was an easy walk over (once you find the tunnel that connects). The restaurant itself is very nice. Ash blue curtains and Victorian style carpet fits perfectly in theme of the Bellagio. We were seated by the window so we could catch all the fountain shows. The service was great and attentive to our needs. I like taking pics so I'm glad one of our servers took the time to get a decent photo of my date and me. The ginger margaritas were solid. Bread is automatically sent to the table, nice and warm butter roll. The bacon wrapped shrimp with the passion fruit mustard was very tasty. My date enjoyed the rib eye and I loved my lamb chops. The trio of sauces were a great addition to the protein. The bernaise was the star! The roasted Brussels sprouts were good but didn't need the slices of pear. The mashed potatoes were good too, I just got full, fast! I really enjoyed watching all the fountain shows that night and thankful we got a good view. Overall, a lovely experience. I would NEVER come back to this place! Me and a group of friends went for my birthday July 5th. We went through Meg at group dining because they told us for outside parties and to have a guaranteed patio seat we have to go through group dining. We asked Meg every question that we were supposed to, will there be extra charges, what exactly are we being paid for, etc. She told us outside was 345 a person we booked for six people and gave $2700 total with tax, sales tax and gratuity included. My waiter was super rude. We did not get $2700 worth of food. It was supposed to be $930 in drinks and the rest was supposed to be in Food. We did not drink $900 worth of alcohol, or the remaining in food! He was super busy and overwhelmed and every time we asked for things we had to ask 3 to 4 times to even get them. Everything was paid prior to the reservation. The waiter comes up to us and tells us that we still need to spend $1600 because we hadn't met our "minimum" yet which confused me because I didn't understand how I still had to spend money when I already gave them my menu, and all we needed to order was drinks. So we ordered more food thinking we needed to spend an extra $1600 When it was time to leave the restaurant, the manager comes over to my table and tells us that we owe $5000. Me and the manager went back-and-forth for an entire hour until she finally told me she's going to sort everything out with Meg. I was showing her my contract that I signed, and the contract she was showing me was completely different than mines. I don't know where the miscommunication is coming from between the group dining and the actual restaurant, but that is something that you guys need to sort out before you have people arguing with the manager about a check at their birthday dinner! It was not the fact that I could not afford it, It was the fact that there was no reason that I already paid 2700 and now you're telling me to pay an additional 5,000! The last thing, no one told me that I could not bring a photographer in. I paid for a photographer because of course the view is amazing and it's my birthday!They told us that we couldn't bring our own photographer into the dining area because they already had their photographer. We visited Prime this past weekend in their temporary space in the Bellagio while they renovate their main space. Only in Vegas could a restaurant pick up and look this amazing in a temporary space. One of the members of our party is a local and a frequent visitor to Prime so they took great care of us, epsecially Michael the sommelier. The wine was fabulous, but the food was pretty great too. I'm a huge fan of seafood towers so was excited to see they had a petite one that I could get for my entree. The waiter suggested i add a crableg to make it a complete meal. While i think just the normal petite tower would have been plenty filling with all the apps and sides, the crab leg sure was tasty. As for apps we enjoyed the beet carpaccio and burrata. I always love a good burrata and I'm not really a beet fan, but this was really great and unique. And we had so many yummy sides for the table- many veggies and my favorite were the truffle mashed potatoes. I think they brought out one of every dessert for our party of 6 to indulge and the bananas foster was the best imo. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals except for someone who ordered the short rib and complainted it was a little rubbery for her liking. All in all this was a top notch dining experience. Reservations are a must. We were seated promptly upon arriving. Our half booth was right next to the kitchen area which was a bit of a disappointment as there was a lot of traffic in and out. It was also a bit cramped as there was another table right next to us which meant nearly bumping other diners when getting in and out. I much prefer the wonderful high and private booths at Barry's Downtown Prime. The interior is quite luxe with background music at just the right volume. Our server Russell was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu including the specific region the oysters were from. The sommelier was similarly helpful at selecting a good wine, and he even replaced our first choice when nobody at the table liked it. The Jasmine cocktail was delicious and smooth and overall fantastic. The bread was very good and amazingly soft, but I would've preferred a bread basket with a bit of a variety as offered at other top steak houses. The Caesar salad was tasty. Anchovies are available at extra cost. The shrimp cocktail was good as well. Fresh and good-sized shrimp with tangy sauce. Sadly they were out of the Japanese Wagyu filet, so I tried the standard filet. Delicious! Fork tender and juicy, and a variety of sauces are offered on the side as complimentary additions. The crispy potatoes side dish was outstanding, and the citrus lime sauce accompanying was perfect! The roasted carrots were also excellent and perfectly prepared. Save room for dessert! The baked Alaska flamed table-side is a classic choice for a premium steakhouse and was truly delicious and perfect for two to share. Overall this was a delicious top notch steakhouse dining experience. Please don't waste your time with the hype of STK. Come to Prime instead! It is so so so much better in every way! read more

The staff was less attentive And the food wasn't as well prepared, seemed like it was rushed and thrown together. We sat on the patio and their heat lamps were so high that we were all uncomfortable. We all left feeling flushed, hot, and frustrated that nothing could be done about the heaters. Wow what a nice place! I was in town for my birthday and this was the spot I had the pleasure of eating at for that day. We were first greeted by the staff at the end of the escalator checked in and was seated within minutes. We had the outdoor seating with the prime view of the famous fountains of Bellagio. It was putting on a show during our meal and I loved it! We browsed the menu and ordered up one NY strip steak and one filet mignon with side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. Boy was my steak cooked to perfection! I asked for a medium rare on the NY strip steak and came as I asked. The asparagus was super fresh and tender with the right amount of crunch! The mashed potatoes were delicious! Very creamy and paired excellent with our food. We did also order the chocolate lava cake which didn't disappointed. Very rich chocolate and nice vanilla ice cream with it hit the spot after a great meal. I didn't even get to mention how nice and informative our servers were big thanks to them as they walked us through the menu and recommended a few things like the awesome bacon wrapped shrimp as our appetizer .
