Blue Cloud did our termite inspection as we were buying our house, said it was good to go. Then we noticed some significant termite damage that was not in their report, followed up with them to come reinspect. They gave us the runaround, my wife gave birth to our kid a few weeks later, life got in the way and we let the topic slide. Less than a year later, winged termites started swarming in our house. I admit I don't know much about pest control, but the way things played out, not very reassuring. We didn't bother to call them for a follow up because it would be a waste of time and we needed to fix our problem quickly. The owner is very professional and was super informative and communicative from the start, The team was able to come out very quickly to resolve our issues. Our property is about 100 years old so we were definitely worried about termites, but they did a thorough job on the inspection, and even completed some of the necessary repairs. Everyone's right- Blue Cloud is heavily used by realtors and they do come on time and complete their "inspection." We already kind of questioned the results when our realtor appeared surprised they didn't tell us to tent, only that we required over $1000 worth of spraying inside of our home for subterranean termites in the subfloor and attic. We are first time home owners and were very close to just letting Blue Cloud spray poison in our home because they told us they would take off the $95 we spent on their inspection & include it in the price of the work that needed to be completed to make the house termite free. I have now learned to always get a few opinions before doing anything like that. WOW, I am so glad I got a 2nd and then 3rd inspection (which btw are free once you buy a home!). I had a very well respected local company come to the home and the guy basically said, "It's my job to find termites- I *want* to find termites. You don't have any!" I had so much trouble believing this because of Blue Cloud's report and while I felt bad to waste another company's time I had a 3rd reputable termite company come today to do another inspection. They also found ZERO termites and when they looked at Blue Cloud's report they said they had no idea what they were talking about- they checked every spot that was marked and there was nothing! They told me they saw some cricket droppings outside of the house and wondered if Blue Cloud mistook it for termite feces.. but they also said no trained inspector should make that mistake. We were very close to letting this company spray for non existent termites for the cost of over $1000. Our realtor recommended them.. and now I have so many questions about that, lol. I had my house tented for termites. When the workers arrived they insisted I had to unlock a storage room where I placed some bigger valuable items. When I returned to the house a TV and a guitar were both stolen from that storage room. While I couldn't prove that it was the exterminators who took it, I can't imagine someone else broken into the home while it was tented and knew where to look for the value items in the house. I live in a quiet safe neighborhood on a dead end street. When I told the company owner about it, she did nothing. The workers also had to dismantle a fence in order to get the tent around the house and they were very careless with it. They didn't put it back together properly. Communication with this company was challenging and exhausting. I would not recommend them. read more

I'm a local real estate agent and have been using Blue Cloud for years as my trusted go-to company for termite inspections. Recently we ran into a very unexpected issue while in escrow and we needed to fumigate a property at the very last minute before the bank would allow us to close. Ellie pulled off what I can only describe as a miracle and was able to fumigate and get termite clearance in a matter of days. The sellers of the property were being forced to relocate for a few days and Ellie went over to their house and walked them through how to prep for fumigation. The sellers were already on edge with the situation and having her spend time with them helped immensely in an incredibly stressful situation. The other challenging aspect of this fumigation is the roof of the property was extremely delicate due to very thin tiles. The crew did a fantastic job protecting the roof and the remainder of the property. Had it not been for Ellie and the crew, this escrow would have fallen apart costing my buyers a ridiculous sum of money. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Blue Cloud was great when we bought our house in 2016 - they coordinated the inspection and the tenting before we moved in. A year later they came and inspected after we found a couple of flying termites and did some spraying. We found a bunch termite droppings in two of our windowsills this summer, and Blue Cloud sent some inspectors who said that a quote would be emailed to us. It never came. We called twice, and they apologized and said they would send us the quote. Again, it never came. I'm not sure what happened, but we are going with a different company to get the termites out of the front of our house. read more

I'm extremely fortunate I have Terminix as my service. I pay an annual fee. I get an annual inspection. Due to this horrific sub standard company. It set me back days getting of course an all clear from Terminix. So if you want to be screwed hire them. I highly suggest using a much more reputable company. read more

Their inspection and work prices were great, and both technicians that came were professional, courteous, and nice. Ellie in the office is also very nice, easy to book work with, and prompt on the phone. For our home inspection, the tech was very thorough and took the time to walk us through everything they found. We had a lot of questions (as it was our first home) and he didn't mind explaining it all. Once purchased, we had them out to do the work a few months later, they completed everything on the previous inspection report, including repairing some damaged rotten woodwork that I wanted to get a photo of, but I literally can't find the spot they fixed because it looks like new! The technician was quick, professional, and we didn't even know he was here half the time, which is great as we were working from home. My realtor ordered a Blue Cloud Inspection during my escrow period while selling my home... they went in my attic, wrote me a quote for extensive termite activity and $950 to remedy it. A year previously, when I bought the home, the home was tented and fumigated by another company. I called up the company who originally tented the house to come out and give a second opinion. They inspected the property and said that Blue Cloud was "full of sh**". The technician took pictures and showed me there was no evidence of termites in all the areas that Blue Cloud claimed.
