Easily one of the best slices in NY. There's usually a line, but it moves fast and the staff are super friendly. I never get meat on my pizza here. The plain cheese and sauce are so good that it doesn't need anything else.

A long-time classic and one of my personal favorites in nyc! Love their Buzzy Broome St and pepperoni square slice! There's always a small line which moves quick, and the staff is always so friendly!

As a native New Yorker, I have to say Prince Street offers one of the best pizzas in the city. I've been a long time fan of Joes but noticed their quality dropped.. but Prince Street is still holding it down in taste and quality. Their plain pizza is so underrated and I recommend you give it a try. My "go to" spot for slices and delivery.

This place can definitely get busy. It's basically just standing room inside and not much of it. The service was quick and straight to the point. There's some seating outside as well. I got the Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza slice and it was definitely my favorite pizza in New York. I am usually not into pepperoni pizza, but the pepperoni here was delicious. The pizza had a good spice and sweetness. Even the crust was good as well. I definitely would come here again.

Wanted to try some NY pizza and this place sounded good. Came around 11:30am and there was a small crowd. No where to sit, but some tables you can stand and eat. Napkin dispenser on the wall. Drinks are available to purchase. Next door, is their dessert shop. We had three slices, cheese triangle slice. 4 cheese and pepperoni and sausage, I think? They were delicious! The cheese was incredible and the dough was soft and fresh. The kids ate it all. I wouldn't mind coming back for more if we lived here.

We ordered a couple pizzas to our Chelsea hotel the other night. Here's how it went: We order a Naughty Boy pizza and a basic cheese with added sausage. They took a bit longer than estimated but the pizza was tasty and a bit pricey. The Naughty Boy had spicy pepperoni and hot honey and was happily devoured by my son and his friends before I could take a picture. They assured me it was excellent. Our pizza was big, still quite hot and the sausage we added was VERY tasty. We forgot about the wait and enjoyed it very much. Nice. Thanks! 8/10

This was our final pizza stop in New York City -- sadness! A short walk from both Chinatown and Little Italy, Prince Street Pizza is a great option, especially if you don't want Chinese food or want a sit down Italian meal at a restaurant. The two people at the counter were by far the least friendly people we came across in all of New York City. I thought I might have been teleported to South Street Philadelphia with the level of rudeness!!! While customer service is definitely not a highlight of Prince Street Pizza, the pizza slices were delicious. The spicy pepperoni pizza lived up to the hype. Interior seating was very limited but the trash cans out front were covered with plastic to mimic little tables and were a perfect place to enjoy our slices. It sounds gross typing that out, but I promise it was a great solution to limited seating. If you are looking for a great slice of a classic pizza, this is your spot. If you want an amazing slice of unique pizza (like fig jam bacon), I would head to the recently opened L'Industrie in Little Italy.

Visited Prince Street Pizza while in Manhattan. The atmosphere was iconic, busy, and full of energy, and the service was surprisingly efficient given the constant lines. This place draws a crowd for a reason -- expect long lines, but they move at a decent pace. As you make your way up the line, the walls are covered with photos of famous people who've visited, which adds to the experience. Grabbed a few slices, and I have to say, so far one of the best pizzas I've had in New York. Overall, worth the wait and definitely a must-try if you're in the city. Saluti.

For Sicilian slices, it is great. The line seemed long but it moved quickly. I had two meat lovers & spicy pepperoni. Both were delicious but the spicy pepperoni stands in its own. There are a few standing tables, but a few like me ate our pizza just outside because it was such a lovely day.

    Ethan T.

Genuinely the most delectable square slice of pizza I have ever tried. The sauce pairs amazingly with the pepperoni and I wasn't expecting honey on top as well. The entire slice paired perfectly and in sync delivered a top slice of pizza i have ever had.

Prince Street Pizza opened in 2012, taking over the legendary 27 Prince Street location that was previously home to the original Famous Original Ray's Pizza (operating there since 1959). Built on the Morano family's long-held Sicilian recipes, the shop has earned a massive international following and numerous industry recognitions--consistently named among the Best Pizza Slices in NYC by Eater, The Infatuation, and Food Network. Inside, the small shop is lined with photos of famous regulars, including a prominent signed picture of the late James Gandolfini. Using their exact menu terminology, here is how the offerings break down: Spicy Spring™ (SoHo Square): The shop's defining signature slice, topped with spicy Fra Diavolo sauce, crisp, cupped pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano on a thick Sicilian crust. Spicy Vodka (SoHo Square): A rich Sicilian square pie featuring spicy vodka sauce (which includes prosciutto), fresh mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano. Prince Perfection™ (SoHo Square): The classic plain cheese square pie with house marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, and extra virgin olive oil. The Naughty Pie (SoHo Square): Topped with spicy vodka sauce, crispy pepperoni cups, fresh mozzarella, whipped ricotta, and a drizzle of Zab's Hot Honey. Mercer Margherita (Grandma Style): A thinner, crisp Grandma-style square pie with original pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, garlic, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil. Lines move fast despite wrapping around the block. A essential stop for anyone chasing NYC's most famous square slice.

First time coming here and had to try the infamous Prince Street pizza. The name did live up to the hype in terms of the food. There were so many options! We ordered a classic margarita slice (which was my favorite), too deep dish, pepperonis, and a hot honey pepperoni with jalapeño peppers. The hot honey pepperoni with jalapeño was really good. The deep dish in my opinion was not (leave that to the Chicagoans!) Reading at four stars out of five because the seating arrangement is horrible. I understand that this is probably a pick up spot and leave, but as a tourist, it was hard to find a place to eat your food. You had to stand up and eat it, which is not ideal. As far as the service, I mean, the workers are designed to get you in and out so it's very rushed.

    David S.

I stopped by Prince Street Pizza late at night and was honestly surprised (in a good way) that they were still open--it's definitely a convenient spot if you're looking for food after hours. That said, the pizza itself just didn't fully land for me. I know they're especially known for their square slices, but I've realized I'm just not the biggest fan of that style to begin with, so part of this may come down to personal preference. The slice I had felt a bit too heavy on the toppings, and overall it leaned saltier than I would've liked. It kind of overpowered the balance I usually look for in a good slice. I can see why a lot of people love this place, especially if you're into thick, square, topping-loaded pizza. It's just not quite my style.

This location was super busy and there was a line outside the door, even at midnight on a Thursday. However, the line did move quickly inside. There are not any chairs inside, just bar tables to stand around, although there did seem to be a small table with a few chairs outside. Some of the bar tables had shakers with extra chili flakes or parmesan. The pizza slice gets put into their oven to be warmed to the crisp (if it has been left out for a while), so I would say that the service was excellent for that consideration. My friends and I shared a slice of the Supreme. It was SO good! I had heard this was an overrated spot, but the taste of the onions and sausage on a thin and crispy crust was fantastic. It was pretty large in size and could be shared with others. I would definitely come back to try their other pizza slices. Very solid spot to me.

Iconically known as the workplace of Peter Parker in the original Spider-Man movie, I knew it was mandatory to pay a visit during a very Spider-Man focused weekend. Now I'm sure there are cheaper slices available elsewhere - these range about $5-6 per slice, but they're really delicious. I'm a big fan of the thin crust and simple yet yummy toppings. We went 2 times during our trip - first ordering 2 pepperoni and later a Caprese, White, and Supreme. They were all great, but my favorite was the classic pepperoni. If you're going with a group of more than 2 people and don't all mind getting the same flavor, I recommend waiting in line next door - which is where they sell by the pie only. Both lines move relatively quickly, but some times are definitely more popular than others (weekend nights). You can honestly expect minimal eating space because there's so many people trying to be in there, but we got lucky and were able to eat at one of the countertops on the side. They also have additional seasonings available such as parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Definitely willing to come back next time I'm near Times Square!

The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. The pizza was typical New York style with a crispy bottom and sweet sauce which I love. I got the last serving of buffalo wings for the night where which wood fired crispy and spicy. Great place to drink a beer and watch a game as well!

Walking into Bardough will make you want to kill your phone the second you hit the bottom step…read morebecause the ambiance here is dialed in perfectly. The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
