The big box store where we bought the oven said the new one wouldn't fit and refused to install it. Based on the specs we were pretty sure it would fit and Pro Appliance agreed. I needed to have my old hood and range removed so that the backsplash could be tiled, and then I needed to have the new hood and range installed. The receptionist was friendly and great and got me set up with a removal time and price and installation price right away, based on the maker/model of my new appliances - I liked that no one had to come out for an estimate, etc. and I felt the pricing was very fair. The team came out right on time to remove the old appliances and took it all away in minutes. Once the tile was installed they were back again, right on time, and expertly installed the new appliances. They took kept everything immaculate, protected the floor, and were so friendly and very experienced! Paul, Cedric and Cedric were amazing! They were very kind, friendly, and informative. They really went the extra mile installing a cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, handling all the electrical, woodwork and install. It's extremely hard to find a company that will handle everything and they did it to perfection! They arrived early and waited for me to take a 70 mile round trip to get a replacement dishwasher when they discovered my new dishwasher was damaged inside of the box. They used their own water line supplies to better protect against leaks, which were better materials than the store provided me for my new appliances. They added additional support to my cabinets and countertop, shaved my granite to fit my cooktop, all additional work and the price was extremely reasonable, less than quoted! This company is very professional, courtesy and extremely helpful. I had an issue with my subzero appliance and called for service to help move and replace the built in refrigerator. Instead of simply doing the job and making money they walked me through a different way of making the repair without having to do a lot of work. Paul from Pro Appliances came down to install the Kitchen Appliances package i had purchased from Grand Appliances and TV, Chicago. I was a bit weary of installers / contractors as the past experiences have been "interesting". However, Paul is very Professional and consummate professional who took care of every minute details. The install was not easy, the old microwave had a non-standard install and it took a while to remove it, then Dishwasher needed to be coaxed in due to another extended pipe, the Gas range had the line redone. He did all of that with a smile, never complained and he only charged us very reasonable price for the extra valves and pipes that were needed. Above all, he said, " Don't worry about the 30 days workmanship warranty on the work order, it is my work and I stand by it even after 30 days", It was refreshing to work with a contractor who does not nickel and dime you and also is willing to stand by the work. Horrible experience. They did nothing, didn't even plug in my fridge, didn't even leave me a message that they couldn't install and therefore all my food spoiled. When I called to ask why they didn't let me know what they needed or let me know it wasn't installed- I was blamed - I should have had my contractor build a casing ahead of time. I don't buy refrigerators everyday - last thing I need to feel is blamed when no one even let me know what was going on. Goodbye to $400 worth of food, worst customer service I ever experienced! read more
