The first technician arrived at my home within the scheduled time frame, sprayed the bees, and provided a price for removal of the hive the following week. I had already had another bee company spray and seal the flashing, but the bees were still getting into the hive. This time, the spray worked. Two technicians arrived at the scheduled time the following week, analyzed the situation and how best to gain access to the hive and remove it. They decided the least damage to the structure was to cut through the wall in the attic behind the sloped part of the roof that is shingled. This was done, and two hives were found, an older one in which the honey was fermented and the bees dried out, and the more recent active one. They removed both hives and about 15 lbs. of honey, and then sealed the exterior area beneath the flashing using wood strips, which they screwed in and then covered over with a nylon wire mesh, which they stapled on, and then they caulked. They showed me photos of the hives and how they cleaned and sanitized the area. I didn't see a photo of the interior repair, but they described what they'd done. The caulking was supposed to dry clear, but it's still white. Maybe it's not fully dry yet. They worked in a difficult area as a person cannot stand straight up in the attic and it is insulated with loose fiberglass insulation. The technicians were polite and seemed to know their trade. It cost me $800 plus I tipped them. I had already spent $150 on the first bee removal company. I liked that the company was licensed, insured, and bonded. read more

Called yesterday to set up an appointment to check rooms for bedbugs. Joe arrived right on time and even called a few minutes beforehand to let us know when he would be arriving. This is really important because most places will give you a window of a few hours when they will arrive and they'll usually show up the last few minutes of that window and make you wait for nothing the whole day. Jordan Elgin has serviced our properties for the last 7 years. I hope he never leaves Pro Pacific. He is on time and very helpful, always asking what issues we are currently seeing on our property. He does such a complete job that we never have to call back between our monthly service. Our neighbors use another service and they are amazed that we are "bug" free. I keep telling them to get Pro Pacific. I had some issues with their billing dept. I was on automatic billing and they would only give my street address to my credit card company, not my billing address. Solved, now I insist that Pro Pacific sends me an invoice each month and I send them a check. They need to get rid of their third party billing company. So disappointed in their "service." If you aren't prepared to purchase the monthly service or the $1800 package don't bother. They placed snap traps randomly in our garage and attic and that was the extent of the effort. They came twice to check the traps that were always empty. Never attempted to move traps around, switch bait, type of traps ect.... on the third week of the trapping "service" I paid for they asked if I was interested In extending this service for a monthly fee. What service? You caught NOTHING!! The response from the worker was, "There is no guarantee." The only suggestion they had was to sign up for a monthly service at $60 a month and a year commitment. No thank you- bought my own electric trap from the hard ware store and caught three mice in two days! read more

I called and scheduled for a free inspection because I have encountered a mall mouse/rat in my home. The technician came out and did nothing! All he did was just stare at my roof. I asked him how bad my problem was and his response was, 1 rat or 10 its all the same thing. He did not look in my attic and was not knowledgeable. It was very frustrating. He did tell me that it would be $350 to set up traps and they would come back for 3 weeks. Umm no thank you. I can go to Home Depot and set up my own traps. read more

We've been using Pro Pacific for about a year now, for quarterly spraying service. This time around we needed them to check out a noise in the attic, that has been bothering me for quite some time but I've been putting it off. It turned out to be birds getting in through an opening in a vent! Ricky was able to clean out the mess, close up the gaps and put in new screen to prevent any more birds from entering. My husband and I found bees in our home after work one day. We determined that they were coming in through the chimney. We contacted pro Pacific to investigate the infestation. Let me remind you that this was after hours (6 pm) on a Thursday. The office immediately answered my call and put me on hold while the located a technician in the area. Within an hour he arrived at our house and was extremely informative and helpful regarding our situation. After treating the bees and the outside of our home he informed us that we had a 30 day warranty and even provided us with a means to contact him if the problem started up again that night. I heard bees in my freaking wall and ran to yelp for help! I didn't know how ripped I was gonna get on this or what but tried Pro Pacific first after some options. Soo glad I did. Free estimate so nothing to lose there except time on getting the matter handled if I waited. I was nervous at first but also did want to change the time frame due to work so I cancelled then soon called back to reschedule after time to think this through and research a bit more and calm down. Steve Nulk came out as scheduled and was awesome. Super nice and explained everything of the process. Also their website was very informative of the situation of bees in a wall which helped me feel like I was calling the right place. So he explains the situation of what's going on with the bees inside my wall and what they were busy doing, the work, the process, and gives me what I felt was a very good quote. I told him to go ahead. This guy's experienced and fun to talk to about what he's seen and knows. So he sprayed them real good then had 2 different guys come the next morning to cut my wall, clean out, remove the combs, repair the wall, and sealed very well outside the point of bee entry. It all took just 2 hours. When they arrived I went to work after they got started and they called to let me know when they were done and emailed me 5 pictures from the process of each stage. I'm not sure if this is the right office but same company, Steve's card says Anaheim. I thought the branch I called was Hunt. Beach, and the work completed form by the 2 guys says LA Palma and Steve's quote from says San Diego area so I guess it's all the same since the website is the 800# that I called. Oh the girl who answered the phone each time was very nice and helpful also. I liked her, too. It's not like this can't happen again so if it did I would definitely use them again Oh they do other pest control also. And, Steve said they could do live bee removal as well but a few hundred dollars more so I said spray 'em. But if that's important to you, I wanted to mention it. When they're living in your wall the quick answer is spray em, I think! I hope this never happens to you but if it does I would recommend Pro Pacific. No hard sell or anything like on one of the other reviews I read, zero sell. And any number price listed mine was way better. Check out the pic of those honeycombs bursting with honey. He sprayed some stuff on the outside and said we should be fine. He didn't charge us. I recently had a roof rat problem and needed to have my house sealed and traps set. Gus was a big help in advising the best route for me to take to fix the issue. He even worked with me on removing my old rusty screens and replacing them with new ones! His crew who did the work Yankee and Reuben did an awesome job removing the old and installing the new screens. They also stucco and painted so they look amazing! After posting my previous review, I was contacted by the company's GM Scott Steffen. Scott apologized for the first impression I received from the technician who came to give me a price quote. He assured me that his employee did not represent the company as he should have and that all his employees have now received advanced customer service training. I believe that Scott was very sincere in his apology and he let me know that my initial review helped him understand how to make his company better. For now, I ended up staying with my previous pest control company so the 4 stars is for how the GM responded to my review with his sincere apology. Pro Pacific was professional and extremely helpful when arranging anot appointment for my initial treatment. When their technician came out, he was kind and courteous. He was quick and seemed like he wasn't even there when he was spraying around the house. The prices are great compared to their big commercial competition. I would choose a small local company any day over a large one. We are very satisfied with Pro Pacific thus far. Also, we live near some lakes and had a mosquito issue. After talking with Pro Pacific they could not guarantee they could solve the issue (nobody can) but they offered to spray for it anyways. Very professional Pest Control company. From the start in 2013 to today, I have not seen any ants inside our home. Before we called Pro Pacific, our whole home was infested with ants. No matter how much we cleaned sweeped and vacuumed, ants would always come inside the house. All of our neighbors, as well as myself, got fed up with ants and decided to call different pest control companies. I went with Pro Pacific because they are a local company and offered similar services for the same cost, plus their free re-treat guarantee. So far, we have only used one re-treat because the ant problem got out of control in the perimeter of the house before the next treatment, free of charge, the next day. I once had a bad encounter with this company, one of their technicians was caught in our surveillance system urinating outside of my home. Pro Pacific assured me that the technitian would never visit our home again, and gave us two treatments (4 months of services) as an apology. I believe the customer service representative handled the situation as best as they could, considering the situation. Overall, besides that one hiccup, the company is very professional. From the first treatment, to today, I see the pest control technitians clean the perimeter of our home from spiderwebs, cleaning our palmtrees and fountain free from any spiderwebs. Overall, I greatly recommend their services if your home is infested with ants and spiders, you will not regret it! read more
