Overall tasty staples you'd expect from a Thai restaurant! Came here for a weekday dinner with a friend and ordered: - Lychee thai iced tea (5/5) - Taro fritters (4/5) - Rock shrimp (3.5/5 with the sauce) - Shrimp panang curry (4/5) - Chicken pad thai (4/5) - Mango sticky rice (4/5 but mango was small since its seasonal!) The ambiance of Prode is nice, great for a hangout with friends or family. Service was also very attentive. Overall, definitely give Prode a visit if you're in the neighborhood. You can expect some good food, nice service and overall great vibes.
This place was great. The decor was beautiful. Service was great and attentive. We had the pad see ew, papaya salad, curry puff and more! They were all amazing! My brother got crispy pork and the crisp was just the way I like it. Also recommend the mango sticky rice for dessert. Definitely coming back soon.
I came here for dinner with my family and gf. We didn't have to wait long. It feels like an upscale spot so the ambience is nice. The service was fast. we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. The staff were super friendly. Everything looked great when it arrived. Fired Calamari- 8/10 There was a lot. There was enough to go around. It was crispy and the calamari flavor was good. My parents loved the dipping sauce . Crispy dumpling - 5/10 There was four total. The dumpling felt kinda greasy so we had trouble finishing. Taste wise it was good reminded me of deep friend Tyson chicken nugget. Kao shao noodles - 8/10 The noodles were bigger than expected. The soup was good it was a sweet flavor. The noodle texture was great firm and chewy. The nooodles soaked up the soup quick so it got a bit soggy but i liked that too. The beef was tender and there an abundance of it. i would recommend getting this if you want something hearty and warm for the winter time. Curry beef rice- 5/10 Nothing too special here just curry and beef. The beef was tender and the potatoes were great. There was so much i had trouble finishing it. Grilled squid - 5/10 They give you the whole squid. It was pretty good but i wish there was more grill flavor. it came out so quick we are suspicious that it may not have been freshly grilled. The dipping sauce for this was great tho! Mango sticky rice - 5/10 it was a decent amount. it was great to eat this after all the heavy stuff. Nothing really stood out about jt . Overall: I'd recommend this place for people in the area that want thai food. It's a bit expensive so i would get it only for special occasions. It's a good spot for a cute date night .
Full flavored dishes with great wok-hei and stellar service with an upscale yet cozy vibe! The pad see ew and pineapple fried rice were on the smaller side, but the flavors and textures were absolutely 10/10. Loved the fried fish-- got both the mango and the basil variations, each having their own approach in flavor. I don't have much to say except that you should come eat here! Everything about this place feels a step above, so it could be a great celebration spot or date night spot for sure.
A new Thai restaurant right on Northern Blvd in Little Neck! The place is very modern with a nice bar table. There is no parking lot but I found residential parking right behind the place. We came shortly after it opened on a Saturday and got the lunch special which includes an appetizer and an entree with choice of meat for a reasonable price. I was surprised their lunch special extends from the weekdays to the weekends. Since I came with a group and we all got the lunch special, I was able to try all of the appetizers and a variety of the entrees. The only thing is that the fries on the lunch special is not their regular shake Fries that is very uniquely seasoned with hints of lime and spices and a spicy mayo sauce. The flavor reminds me of the Takis chips. The spring roll was my least favorite as it tasted just like the ones at Chinese take out if not a little better. The chive pancake is good if you like the strong chive flavor. The chicken wings is the best choice as you can never go wrong with chicken wings! For entrees, I got to try the pad see ew, drunken noodle, Penang curry and spicy basil fried rice. The drunken noodle was very nicely flavored and so was the Penang curry. Though, I would prob not get one lunch special for myself next time because I was so full after this meal. I didn't even have room to try the mango sticky rice I wanted. For drinks, I got the Thai iced tea which comes separated in two glass containers for the tea and the milk so that you can mix it yourself. It was very good! My friend got the lychee Thai Tea which was very good too! No artificial lychee flavors and comes with two big juicy lychees that was so good! Perfect if you don't want a milky drink. The employees were very attentive and nice. They always refilled our water when they saw it was low and came up to check on us every now and then.
I had not heard of this place, so I may have passed by if a couple of my friends didn't recommend it! The store is small but beautifully decorated with an arch shelf behind the bar. I didn't feel, however, that the aesthetics compromised the rest of the restaurant. We ordered some Thai iced teas and a grilled squid to start. The iced tea was served with the creamer and the tea separated so you could control the milkiness of the tea, which I thought was a lovely touch. I liked the grilled squid, though it was a little smaller than it seemed in pictures. The herbaceous and slightly spicy sauce complemented the tender cooked squid. I did wish they had knives as the squid wasnt cut well enough. I contemplated getting my basic pad Thai or pad see ewe but decided to branch out since this seemed like a legitimately good Thai place. So, I got the crispy chicken over rice. The crispy dense slices of chicken was served over a crunchy garlic rice with a fish fragrant sauce and a chili sauce. I really like a hearty chicken breast, but I think for some they may have felt the crispy fried chicken was a little dry. It was very evenly fried to a crispy perfection, and I felt the portion was pretty generous. I would visit Prode again for a cute girls meet-up!
Prode has some great Thai food & I'm surprised it took me this long to visit it. However, I will say don't bother getting the lunch special because they 100% skimp on food. As we all know, lunch specials are always a hit or miss for restaurants but this one is definitely a miss. I got the mixed vegetable delight with chicken and my appetizer as the wings. The wings were great, but the main entrée was lacking much curry and was predominantly just rice. With that being said, I had also ordered the grilled squid as I wasn't really full after their lunch special. The squid was super tasty and deserves all the rave reviews that it gets. I would definitely order this again plus the green sauce compliments it well. The service here was also great, so all in all I would be back just not for the lunch special.
Food: If you're craving a refreshing and hearty dish, get the Mango Tango!! It's a fried breaded fish fillet paired with refreshing fish sauce and vinegar-like flavor. It comes with lettuce, cashews, and rice. This dish is also topped with lots of mango slices. Khao soi with chicken was tasty. The curry sauce was amazing and the chicken tastes great. But it was a bit heavy for me for my preference. Service: The service was standard throughout our meal. However, before our meal, I was surprised by how upset they were about us being ten minutes late to our reservation. Even though we called to tell them that we would be there in 5 minutes, they gave away our table. It's valid since we were late, but just be aware to be on time! There's no grace period. Ambiance: Lovely, cute date spot but also enough seating for bigger parties if you reserve. The decor and lighting is pretty. So clean and well kept.
Went here for a birthday celebration and Prode was able to accommodate 10 people. I was definitely not disappointed. Service, food and atmosphere of the resturant was amazing. Prode has spice levels suitable for people looking for a flavorful spice to people who don't want tastebuds anymore. The drinks were delicious and presented beautifully. I went back shortly after for dinner with my father and tried other items and not to my surprise, Prode did not disappoint.
My favorite Thai spot in little neck! Beautifully decorated interior with bright lights, gold accents, and a clean, luxe aesthetic. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and also super patient with explaining the specials and dishes if there are questions/concerns. Food is amazing! Everything comes out hot and fresh - and nothing tasted greasy or overly sweet/salty/spicy. I found the portion sizes to be fair given the prices and appreciated how well everything was plated and displayed. The lychee lemonade is light and refreshing and so is the shrimp mango salad! There's a kick to the shrimp mango salad but it's quickly offset by the freshness of the mango. The calamari, chive pancakes, and chicken wings were perfectly crispy and delicious. The coconut soup was hearty and not overly thick/creamy - a perfect comfort meal when paired with rice! I also love that this place offers lunch specials that are well portioned and I'm excited try other dishes here :)
My new favorite Thai restaurant in Queens! I came here as a party of 12 for Mother's Day and had the best time at Prode. Every dish was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent and out waiter was constantly stopping by to clear plates and refill our waters. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and has a nice ambiance for a birthday or family dinner. Note that the restaurant is not that big so I would suggest making a reservation before hand as it is a popular spot for dinner. Standouts / Must Get - Crying Tiger Steak: Super tender rib eye that pairs well with a spicy tamarind sauce - Grilled Prawn: Fried prawns with garlic and chilis - Tom Yum Soup: Perfect balance of sour and spice and has a generous amount of seafood and mushrooms - Beef Pad Se Ew: Noodles were chewy and the beef was not dry at all! -Branzino: fish was so soft and flavorful and paired well with the sauce read more

I was kind of disappointed by the food here. Everything looks so delicious and plated so nicely, but none of the dishes we tried really stood out. We had the chicken wings and shrimp appetizers, crab fried rice, snapper, and chicken basket and nothing tasted terrible, but it was missing something. I hate to say it, but there's better Thai in the area. read more
Modern, quaint, esthetically pleasing ambiance that makes you feel like you're in the city! Restaurant is a bit small so try to go during off peak times if you don't want to wait. We went for lunch as they have a decent amount of lunch specials. Started off with Thai iced tea which came with a cute side of milk to add to the tea. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and husband ordered garlic noodles with shrimp. The portions were pretty big for lunch and mine was a bit spicy which I enjoyed. The garlic noodles same with a side of sauce and the garlic flavor was just right and not overpowering. We were too full to try dessert so we'll have to come back soon! The ambiance is really nice for a date night and even for a family dinner. Went on a Friday night with two kids. I'm so glad I made reservations before hand because this place was already packed at 6:30pm. I liked that they gave kiddie utensils and plates for my kids. The waitress was a little pushy as I was just waiting for my husband to park his car. Different waitresses kept coming by asking if I was ready to order. I understand it's a full house and they were trying to get ppl's order in and out so I was kind of annoyed by that. Now onto the food: ordered the crying tiger steak, chicken pad siew yew, pad krao and an order of fries. Everything was delicious. But the price seemed a bit high. I'm incredibly happy that Little Neck has an excellent Thai spot now. This place has a decently diverse but not overwhelming menu for diners to choose from. The space is small but cozy with a nice modern feel. The food here is legit good. The grilled pork jowl and crying tiger steak were excellent and cooked perfectly. Their spicy pork rib soup was also great as was the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli. Service here is fast, friendly and good. They make you feel welcome and the vibe translates into the food which is very good. If I had a gripe, it would be that the spice levels are toned down a bit for the uninitiated but I could just ask them to make it spicier. Prices are fair given the quality of the food. I've been here 4 times now and have tried a fair amount of the menu. So far, not one dish I've not liked. Thumbs up. read more

Went there last week with my friend and we were pleased with the food and service. As a southeast Asian, I was pleased with the flavors. The place is modern and welcoming. Love the decor. Small spot. Poured my own milk for Thai ice tea. It amazed me although too much leftover ice. Sat near the door so my child was entertained by the passing cars and people. They had a cute kid plate for her and her own water straw cup. Service was good and we weren't rushed to leave. Glad we came when it opened because by the time 12pm rolled around on a weekend the entire place was full with some people waiting. We ordered pretty basic dishes for our first time. Husband had drunken noodle medium spicy. I ate a bite and it seemed extra spicy to me but that's obviously because I have no spice tolerance i ordered the pad see ew with shrimp and it was very flavorful and had a decent amount of shrimp. Noodles were soft. It was nice that they had lunch specials everyday except for holidays. I would definitely be back to try the other dishes. read more
Excellent modernized Thai food - we had the grilled pork jowl, Tom kha ghai, crying tiger steak, and the whole fish (red snapper) with lemongrass. New restaurant that just opened up! Came here on Columbus Day around 4 and it was empty because we were eating at an odd time. The people working there were so nice and kind. Very attentive and explained everything if needed. The food was superb. Everything tasted very delicious and fresh! And very large portions. We did not feel gross afterwards. The restaurant is very adorably decorated too. Definitely will come back to lunch specials that's everyday and bring other friends and family! read more

Ambiance: cute little, recently opened Thai restaurant in little neck. Restaurant is not very big, but overall extremely cozy and clean. There's a lot of warm lighting to set the mood for a vibey meal. We came around 8 pm on a Thursday night and though busy, wasn't packed. Food: excellent food! The food steals the show here. We ordered peanut dumplings, shake fries, pad Thai and basil sautéed. The peanut dumplings were well crafted, with a semi sweet peanut filling. Honestly haven't had this before at any other Thai restaurant so was pleasantly surprised! The shake fries were a hint; essentially just normal fries but seasoned with a thai chili and lime powder fries. It comes with a creamy sauce that is a nice complement. The pad Thai and basil sautéed were also fantastic. Pad Thai was a great blend of savory and semi sweet with food portions of topics. The basil sautéed with beef was delicious, tender beef and strong flavors of dark soy sauce and basil. We didn't order any drinks but they drink menu and cocktails looks enticing! Service: very fast and polite service! No complaints. Our food came out within 20 minutes. Worth it factor: 10/10! Great little neighborhood, locally owned spot. read more

Prode nails it in every aspect. The food, the cocktails, -- not only is the presentation there but the flavor is there. They have such an amazing and welcoming staff. The ambiance is also super cute. Perfect for any occasion such as dinner dates, quick lunch with the girls, or even a family dinner. I've been there several times since they opened up and I have never left dissatisfied. Prode is definitely in my top three favorite Thai places to go! read more
This place is an absolute gem. Upon walking in, you can tell how much attention and detail was put into the interior of this restaurant. Such a sleek vibe. The food and drinks here are 10/10. The fried calamari was out of this world. The lychee cocktails are also a must. My favorite dish was the beef massaman dish that was loaded with flavor. I'll certainly be coming back here often. We came here for a group dinner, and this was a nice restaurant to share food together. Our favorite was the Galangal Tom Kha soup, which was savory and warm and had very interesting but delicious spices. Our dessert of Bi Go Moi was also really good, but the sticky rice really fills you up. We also enjoyed the Lemongrass Fish and the Pad See Ew, but we found the Bangkok Fried Rice only okay. This restaurant was a fun meal to share and we agreed that their best dishes were the non-generic dishes, so try something different if you're willing! read more
We came as a large group and tried more than 10 dishes (why Yelp doesn't let us post more than 10 pics ), they were all tasty and delicious! This got to be the best Thai place I have been to in years! The service was great, considering there were many of us to serve and the restaurant was packed on a Monday night. The interior decoration is modern, elegant and unassuming. Overall a fabulous experience. We will be back for sure. They also had interesting cocktails. We had a bottle of wine this time, so look forward to trying out cocktails next time. read more
New Thai restaurant in Little neck is a welcome edition! Beautiful decor, amazing friendly service, and great food! I love the papaya and raw crab salad! Note, their mild is like a medium for me, and I would say spicy for non Asians! The three flavor fish was delicious! Basil Tom yom is soooo flavorful! Be warned it has a kick! Highly recommend the red snapper. It l was fried perfectly and smothered in a great sauce! Save room for the desserts! Holy coconut ice cream! This was the perfect finish! This restaurant has only been open 2 weeks. They did a whole renovation of the space. The place looks elegant and clean. I subscribe to the notion that food is first eaten through sight. Each dish was beautifully plated. There were unique items on the menu that made the experience an adventure. All the food was delicious and the prices were quite reasonable. Found my new Thai spot! This place is fairly new but when i came in on Sunday for lunch it was PACKED (that was a good sign). Ambiance: i lovee the interior - It's very modern and clean. Feels very homey and cozy, warm tone lights and all. 10/10! Service: all the servers were very attentive and super accommodating. I drink water really quickly and let me say they refilled my water immediately every-time 10/10! Food: i honestly loved everything i ordered as everything was super flavorful. The portions were also pretty generous and price was not bad. Tastes pretty authentic so if you love thai food i highly recommend you try this place! 10/10 Overall 10/10 across the board!! Wow! The interior design is so nice! I really love the accent wall and the fancy yet cozy feel it gives. We got 1) Thai Iced Tea, 2) Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, 3) Bangkok Basil Fried Rice with Beef from the lunch menu. The portion is good for lunch. And it's so yummy too. Staff are nice and attentive. Will definitely come again to try other signature dishes! Very nice restaurant! read more

What a pretty restaurant! It is classy and elegant with good food. We had the pad see ew, drunken noodles and basil fried rice and they were all delicious. The shrimp in the dishes was really fresh. The lychee lemonade and Thai iced tea were good too. This is a great addition to the area and we will definitely be back! read more

This place is by far the best Thai food on the North Shore. By far! I live East Asian food in general, and I've eaten at every local spot. Decor is brand new and lovely, staff is friendly and high service, but the food is absolutely fantastic and totally authentic. Absolutely nothing compromised on ingredients or preparation. I'd recommend this place to anyone within 20-30 minutes drive. if you like authentic Thai food or east Asian food in general, you cannot miss this. read more
