I was there all the time and usually had to bring my dog which they never complained about even though there wasn't supposed to be any pets. they closed at 7 every night and sometimes I wasn't paying attention. It they would wait for me. Overall I have nothing but good things to say. All the units were clean and if you get a bigger unit they might have lighting. Highly recommend. WITHOUT NOTICE they raised the date to $160! When I called the guy told me they notified me via email, they did not. The little girl in the office called me back to tell me the guy was wrong and they mailed it. They did it. NO NOTICE WAS GIVEN EITHER WAY, so I told her to cancel my account and we got our stuff out the next week. THEY THEN ILLEGALLY charged my account for this month WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. WARNING BAIT AND SWITCH !…read more Back in February, I went to go rent a unit at this location of Moreno Storage for $34 a month for a 4 x 5' unit. I have no issues until recently. I received the letter that you can see attached that they were going to increase my cost per month for this unit to $101 a month. I completely understand that they may have the legal right to do this but then I think everyone should know about it as I'm trying to let people know that if you rent from them and even a short period of three months, they'll play the bait and Switch game. If that increased my rent by $30 a month I would've been upset but not enraged. In this world, you should be building trust amongst customers, but when you do things like this, how can they trust you or am I just collateral damage that doesn't matter to you? Every single one of their customers should know this, especially if you're getting a unit that you think is at a good price, but the real reason is they're gonna triple it and say that that's the market rate which by the way I checked and that's not the market rate for a 4 x 5Ft anywhere in San Diego. I've included another image which is a screenshot from A1 Storage another provider in the area and as you can see from the image there is a promotional rate. It's states that actually mine never stated that with Marina and their normal cost for a 7 x 5foot unit is $98. That's the market rate and they're saying the market rate is $101 for a 4 x 5 to me this is price gouging. I'm glad Yelp doesn't remove reviews like Google does because they removed my last review about them on Google, which is what they do to all bad reviews so they can try to keep a good standing shame on Google for that.

I didn't even want to get into my car after touching all my stuff that was just covered in this nasty stuff. A shower was the only thing I could think of. Unfortunately I would definitely not recommend this place unless you don't care about your items and don't care about rat poop all over your stuff. I would also say The lady that helps me when I came to move out was not very informative. Renting a U-Haul has never been such a pain. You usually walk in get the keys walk out check the truck and you're on the way. It took over an hour for this process. Do not rent a U-Haul from them. So after this long process I go to my storage unit to find it full of rat poop let me tell you moving out was not a fun thing. Also they don't have an elevator. I definitely give this place two thumbs down and I hope I don't get any diseases from touching and breathing in that toxic air. I should have taken photos, But I didn't even want to touch my phone. We stored our furniture at Extra Space Storage in San Diego for about four months while we were…read moreaway for the summer. When we came back, we found the floor completely soaked with water, and many of our belongings were badly damaged -- including three mattresses, their toppers, waterproof covers, storage bags, and several household appliances and furniture pieces. The total loss was over $8,000. The water clearly came from the facility itself, seeping through the side and back walls of the storage unit. We have clear photo evidence showing large water marks in front of the unit, which means the flooding was visible for some time but completely ignored by management. When we first reported the issue, the on-site manager admitted that they did not even know what was behind their facility, which shows a serious lack of inspection and maintenance. Later, when we discussed the damage and requested compensation, the district manager got involved -- but he refused to take any responsibility or offer any compensation or refund. Although we had insurance, it only covered $2,000, far below our actual losses. The facility refused to refund the four months of storage rent, even though the unit was clearly unsafe and caused extensive damage. This was a truly disappointing and frustrating experience. We trusted Extra Space Storage to keep our belongings safe, but due to their negligence, lack of facility maintenance, and poor management accountability, we suffered major losses. I strongly recommend anyone considering this location to think twice and inspect your unit regularly.
