We've been ordering from Pyro's on Park and Ridgeway for many years now - it's a family favorite. When they first started, everything was great. The portions were good for the price and the thin crust - amazing. Perhaps it's the Covid effect where restaurants have to make cut backs in order to survive. I've ordered 3-4 times from Pyro's since the pandemic and each time, it's been incredibly disappointing. The entree size is much smaller than when they first started. The toppings are scant - you have to hunt to find them. I'm hoping this downturn in their quality and quantity is because of Covid. If not, I'm switching to Domino's. read more

So we went to Pyro's for my daughter's birthday today. They accommodated our group of 10 very graciously. This was our first visit. My husband and I shared the Steak and Potato pizza. The crust was amazing, however, I do not suggest this pizza. The broccoli just did not taste right with this mix, and the sauce that was drizzled on the top of the pizza was too sweet. We each only ate one piece. We let others at our table taste it, too...and they agreed...that it was beautiful, but just didn't taste as good as it looked! The atmosphere was great. The staff was excellent. We will be back, but will probably "build our own" pizza toppings next time. Others at our table ordered the Pesto Pizza, the Mediterranean Salad, and the Spicy Chicken Pizza. Everyone else said that theirs was great! read more

Pizza was good but very small. The price was outlandish for the size of the pizza. I ordered the larger one and was left wanting.

I think calling this a pizza place is a bit misleading. The "pizzas" are very thin - almost cracker like( they are more like a flatbread). The concept is that there's a large variety of toppings and you can build your own. Since I refuse to acknowledge this as pizza I strayed from usual toppings and got the loaded potato - it was good. My fiancé got pepperoni and sausage and was disappointed. In my opinion it's overpriced, I paid the same as a flatbread at seasons 52 around the corner and there I get a nicer ambience and service vs fast casual. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant clean. If you are really craving a flat bread and don't have a lot of time by all means check it out. read more

Was told they will be opening a location here in Atl within the next year. Plus you can build your own pizza, but it's kinda difficult to determine your price b4 you get to the register. Also plus is byo salad. Again price. So we ordered a snack size pizza which is equivalent to a personal pizza but it is wood fired. We also got a large salad which is huge! So 3 stars for the menu not quantified ..i paid more than i expected to. 3 stars for being told there were no more forks available for the evening. What? ??? Had to ask if i could get a to-go fork. 3 stars for all the extra chatter between staff joking and what not. I don't have a problem with that but when I have to repeat my order multiple times when i ordered 2 of their house items...now i do. Food was pretty good over all. I was just passing through town with my wife and found this place. The pizza was great you can order a custom pie or one of the specialties. I was absolutely blown away with the flavor , the consistency of the crust and the presentation! Definitely will come back if I'm ever in Memphis again. Enjoyed Pyros! Love the concept of build your own Pizza or Salad. I'm picky, so instead of saying "leave off this, leave off that", I get it exactly how I want it!!! The thin crust was very good, the price was great... the portion was plenty with a few slices left over... 3 pizzas and 2 beers for 3 of us @ $35.+ Not bad for dinner! Only "complaint" would be if you want a side salad, it seemed as if it was over $5.00, that makes it a bit pricey but I could have read it wrong? We all enjoyed!!! read more

Pyro's is a really modern yet relaxed atmosphere. Being able to customize your own pizza is a completely different experience. While it was a little slow (such as most made to order pizza places are) what came out was really delicious. The beer selection wasn't too bad either. There were a ton of toppings options but not much else besides pizza so hope you aren't hungry for anything else! However, the service was really friendly and efficient for being such a new place. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for something new and can take a long lunch or dinner. read more

A bit different than your average pizza place but I can get with it... Think of a chipotle style pizza place....you get to pick your own fresh toppings and they bake that bad boy in about 5-7 mins... crust is thin which I like...good place to switch it up... something for everybody read more

40 year old single white male business traveler I called ahead to ask if they served slices because I was in a hurry and never heard of the place. The manager on duty explained the concept of their pizza and asked me to stop in and try it. Unfortunately, he didn't mention how long the line was and that there were a million screaming kids. Despite the line and the screaming kids, I really liked it. In addition to building your own wood fired pizza, there are a few craft beers on tap. The clientele was very mixed. A few hot Mom's with their screaming kids, a few younger people too. Not a place I would "hang out," but I will definitely stop in again. If you dine in, you need to sit at a table (I prefer a bar when eating alone). However, it was much like eating at fast place and was not the least bit uncomfortable. On a side note- it is not one of those places you need to know how to order or you look like a dope.
