We tried to come here for a romantic restaurant week dinner on a Friday night around 6:30. To start the bad experience off, you have to ask for the restaurant menu only for it to be flicked down on the table with the utmost of rudeness. The staff are rude, pretentious, and not that knowledgeable. My partner order a steak and I, a burger along with appetizers and drinks. Several moments after ordering we were told that they ran out of steak. At 6:30. On a Friday. I call bs. A part of me wonders if it was because we ordered from the restaurant week menu because if they ran out of steak so early on a Friday night, what will they do for the rest of the night. There was nothing positive about this place that I can tell you about. The food from the other tables didn't even look that good to be honest. This is my second time this Summer coming to this gem. As soon as you walk in your breath is immediately taken away by the stunning perched unobstructed view of the Vessel. The staff are incredibly polite, patient and informative. We asked to change tables and took an unusually long time ordering dinner and the waiter was so easy and helpful. Some of my favorite dishes include the burrata which had a unique honey essence foam encircling it and the truffle risotto which had generous shaves of truffle on top. Cocktail selection included a lot of fresh herbal flavors and loved the burgundy cremant sparkling wine selection which I don't see very often in NYC. Very nice spot! My friend and I went for an early quick dinner on Tuesday evening. Even though Open table was showing that wasn't any available tables at the time we wanted to visit we got seated right away. The host was very nice and pleasant. He offered us both dining rooms, fine or causal. On first we were debating but stayed at the casual ‍ We ordered Basil Fusilli and Cauliflower salad to share which was very good. We skipped dessert but had a couple of glasses of wine. Service was also very nice. Our server was very sweet and did check on us often but did not disturb. We will go back again. read more

The restaurant itself is beautiful! The cocktails were pretty, and everything was plated nicely. The food was good but not amazing. I tried a bit of the truffle risotto which smelled so good, and the salmon was not over cooked. I would probably just come back to get a few drinks at the bar. It was fairly crowded though and would probably require a reservation on the weekends for food. read more

The meals were fantastic. They were full of flavor but a little on the pricey side. The burger was on of the better burgers that I have had. However the service was terrible. It took forever for someone to grab us the check and we were given a $9 bottle of water because it was the only option given to us (we prefer tap). The sun was in our eyes the whole time and we asked if they could bring the shades down. The shade we're progressing down at certain times but we were told they that wouldn't go down anymore. 30 minutes later they go down. read more

NOT MY Time or MONEY! So my family had a reservation for 5 people for dinner on Sunday January 15th. The reservation was made in November for a birthday celebration. Ambiance is beautiful. Cocktails are great and food is good. My complaint is about the service. Our server forgot our drinks on a few different occasions and kept having to be reminded that we ordered. When we asked she would just say "it's coming" with no apology for the delay. My husband ordered a ~$16 glass of red wine and she accidentally brought the wrong one. Again, no apology for the mistake but he said that was fine assuming it was a wine at a similar price level. When we looked at the bill, the wine she brought us was $30 per glass. It took us 2 HOURS to get our entrees. I am not exaggerating. Overall, it was a 3 hour dinner for a group of 8 people. The restaurant was very busy so of course we knew food and drinks wouldn't be out immediately, but service desperately needs to be improved. read more

Great atmosphere and incredible staff. Everyone smiles and greets you , they took pictures for me and my family . The food was great but very small portions. Our waitress was fantastic. I forget her name but she was tall short hair dark skinned. And I absolutely loved her. I would definitely go back and try another dish. Plus you get a great view of the vessel. read more

I absolutely love queensyard. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. You get nice views of the vessel. The food is consistently good and the servers are consistently kind. I know when you go to New York you don't automatically think you should have a meal in a shopping plaza, but you absolutely should go to Queensyard. If you like tartare, try the venison tartare it's our #1. If you like seafood, get the squid ink linguini. Our family absolutely loves this place and since discovering it we've made a point to go here every time we're in New York. read more

Made a reservation on Resy for 8 15 pm, wrote on special requests to be seated ideally at a table with the view of the vessel for optimal photo taking because this was a mini anniversary dinner celebration with my boyfriend not to mention I called 4 times between the hours of 5 00 - 7 00 pm with no one to pick up my call. Arrived at the hostess stand and asked if the seating we asked for could be accommodated but was told whatever is available next is what we'd get. Waited awkwardly by the bathroom hallways where they asked us to standby for our call, then we noticed the best seat where the vessel could be seen opened up and the hostess then told us our table was ready and started to proceed to a table near the bar bur not to the table that opened up by the window. We told her could we not have the table by the window... you told us if anything opens up we may have it; I've also written on my online Resy requests to be seated there; I've called 4 times earlier today with no answer as well. But all she says is oh there's no table available however we tell her yes there is and that a couple just got up. She glances over and says okay one second and disappears. She comes back after 5 minutes and says sure right this way. We finally get seated around 8 45 pm. Our waiter takes our drinks order. We ordered a beer and a gin and tonic. He returns after 15 minutes to say sorry the drinks are still being made and that he could take our food orders now. We ordered the gin salmon, steak with brussel sprouts, truffle risotto with mac & cheese. He leaves to put our order in and returns finally with our drinks. A half hour goes by and only our salmon appetiser arrives, we devoured it in minutes. Eventually around 9 30 our food comes out. He apologises that it took awhile. We start taking pictures of our food and proceeded to taste our food. Everything was warm and hot, we found that strange, since we were waiting on the food and we didn't take that long on 5 or so picture shots of our food and the view. But the next thing you know around 9 45 our waiter comes back and says sorry I know you just received your food but it's last call for food would you like any desserts? We stare at him in shock as he also sees we've just put the first 2 bites of our food into our mouths, but luckily ahead of time we've viewed their desserts on Instagram. So we order the sticky toffee pudding and the after eight chocolate cake and another beer. It is now 10 15 and he brings out the desserts as well as our checks, he then tells us to take our time and says he's sorry everything took so long. But we still felt rushed when the lights came on... We understood due to the pandemic they need to close early but there was no compensation for the immense wait time for our food. As my boyfriend is signing the bill he tells the waiter to not bring out the beer as we're getting kicked out and doesn't want to chug a beer as he will feel forced to finish quickly. The waiter says oh sorry I forgot the beer I'll bring it and it'll of course be on the house. He brought it anyway we took a few sips but couldn't finish with the haste we were in. Despite the wait time for food, the refusal to look at special notes on reservations, and the forgetfulness of the staff... the place is beautiful the view is great if you can snag any of the window seats. The food would probably be delicious if it's any hotter than just warm. I want to come back but I think it'll be awhile before we do just because we don't want to be disappointed again until things get fixed. read more

We first dined here the week that they opened. We were impressed by the great service and delicious, satisfying meal (especially since it's taken them month's to get Bluebird right). The space is bright and well designed. Great views of the Vessel and fabulous murals. While the food and service is great, the 5 star rating is for their cocktail menu. They have a full bar and exciting, unusual mixers and herbs with which they create fabulous flavors. We were lured back by mixologist Jeremy Le Blanche's 'The Earl of Easter.' Jeremy should be a star at the next Tale of the Cocktail event! The Earl of Easter cocktail is the kind of specialty cocktail that makes an event, well, special. Jeremy, combined house made chocolate wine, peanut butter infused bourbon, raspberry powder, plus who knows what and a chocolate for an excellent well-balanced cocktail. Noise level: While buzzy, whether at the bar or dining table, we had no problem hearing each other talk. Burrata and the side of chips (french fries that came along with the burger) was great, however the burger and chicken+waffles were not good at all. I was brought here for a lunch before I was to leave the city, and my, the view was lovely! Right outside the windows was The Vessel! Quite a nice place for people watching if you're seated by the window. The service was absolutely lovely! From the hostess (who offered to take hold my luggage in the back) to our servers who had great energy. I was seated by the bar, and thus the options to eat were quite light (given that different areas you're seated in have different menus). I ordered the Risotto, and it was certainly the loveliest though also one of the daintiest meals I've had. Exceedingly flavorful in each bite, but the bites were minimal given how small the dish was. The price reflected the taste and not the size mind you, so this is a slightly more expensive venue. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed my experience at Queensyard, and would return (perhaps after having a snack before so I'd be more filled up). read more

A delightful, quiet, relaxing, classy place to enjoy a meal or cocktails in Hudson Yards. We came for a family brunch, and everyone was happy with their meals, which included burgers and salmon benedict that came with a nice foie gras with toast points! Nice wine selection by the glass or the bottle. Most seats have a lovely view of the Vessel in the public square with the Hudson River and Jersey shore in the background. Went with a friend just for drinks, much better choice to make the stairs up of the Vessel, it was not very busy and we sat in the bar area, actually it took a little time for somebody to notice us. Finally I personally went to ask for the menus, I think the manager (a she) very nice by the way, was the one that brought up the menus and apologized for the delay! She offered us a round of wine and took care of us from there! We were not looking to eat but decided to go for small bites while we enjoyed the wine. We went for Salmon and Brussels sprouts, both delicious specially the Sprouts (yummy) It is a nice place to have drinks and you really don't feel the time passing by, you can spend hours talking and enjoying the atmosphere. Came here for dinner because it looked great on the outside. Elegant decor, cozy vibes. After we asked for a table for two, we were told that they serve different menus depending on where you sit. If you want to sit by the window, you get a more expensive menu with fewer options. I did not like this practice. Nevertheless, we wanted to have the view, so we went with that. The service was good. The servers were attentive and friendly. I got the halibut and my husband ordered the Dover sole. The flavor of both dishes were on point. Perfect presentation too. But my fish was over cooked and was a little too hard. The side veggie tasted good though. We also got a side cream spinach. It wasn't very creamy and could use a tad more salt. I'd say overall this place is 3.5. If the price tag were a bit lower I'd have given 4. read more

So reservations, are for regular seating. Do not think you will get the "Window" seating on a reservation. It appears that the "First Come, First Serve Community." Food is not as good as expected. Service sucks, they truly don't care. This place is just for ambiance and view, but take out the "View" when seated elsewhere. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. read more

If you're spending the day at Hudson Yards and want to get the full affect then queensyard isn't a bad choice. The restaurant has good atmosphere and is nicely decorated. The main dining room will be expensive because you'll be by the windows with a view of the Vessel. The Kitchen seating is a less expensive menu but still not cheap. The food was ok. The ceaser salad was good but will set you back $24. The steak was good and not a bad price for dry aged. It was cooked good and meat had flavor but it was bland. No salt crust on this steak. If it had seasoning then it would have been a great steak. The shrimp you get 5 decent size fresh shrimps but it is ala cart so its more of a big appertizer and is barely enough food to fill you. I wouldn't come back unless the food wowed me which it didn't but it was good for the one time visit and part of the whole visiting Hudson Yards experience. read more

All the dishes we tried were creatively created and pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. We had the scallop crudo, tuna tataki, and Brooklyn burrata as appetizers. The scallop was the standout... fresh and like a well executed one item Ceviche. For main courses we had the grilled chicken, Dover sole, and crab risotto. All were tasty but the fish was a little on the salty side. Ended with two exquisite and smooth desserts to share: strawberry with consumé and hazelnut parfait. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. We were seated by the window as I requested because it was my hubby's birthday. The ambience was very lovely and the staff were so friendly. The manager Adrien was so helpful and solved a minor issue we had. My drink was very good but my husband didn't like his drink as much. One of the appetizers we ordered was our favorite throughout the meal. I really liked the atmosphere at Queensyard. Would love to come back for their afternoon tea. It's a restaurant with an amazing view of The Vessel! The interior design is so chic as well! I wanted to come for brunch but apparently I booked the restaurant side so they only serve lunch. To have brunch you'll have to go to the bar side, and there's also a separate cafe, which can be confusing when making a reservation. Anyways, food is quite decent and service is amazing so I'm already planning to come back for to try the brunch menu! read more
