$16 Strawberry Mango Smoothie made thick w/ Agave, Greek Yogurt, & Coconut Water 10/10. Very refreshing.

    Terrible manager who threatened me

Filed a formal complaint against this female manager at Qwench: I just had the most rude experience at LAX. I scanned the QR code and ordered an item from qwench at 7:33pm, when I arrived to pick up, they were closed. Closed since 7pm apparently. I told them this was inconvenient since I now don't have time to get food before my flight and someone should tell the QR code company. The female manager (I have uploaded photos of her because she wouldn't give me her name) got loud with me and told me Qwench has nothing to do with the QR code, and that it's not her problem that I had nothing to eat now. I asked her for name, she got even more loud and threatened to call the police on me. There was another male who was with her (shorter, also in photo) who voided the transaction prior to this encounter with the female manager. There were also two workers there who witnessed this. It is never ok to threaten a customer. You can review and recordings, I was calm and didn't get loud with her. This person does not belong as a manager let alone in any customer service role.

    N-bowl

I ordered the n-bowl and received an açaí soup. I saw them make the bowl and the açaí base was completely liquid. I received my bowl with all of the ingredients sunken to the bottom of the container. I usually like açaí bowls with a thicker consistency, so I was quite disappointed. The ingredients in the bowl (strawberry, banana, granola, nuts) were great though blueberries as advertised were missing. I ended up eating the solid ingredients while drinking some of the açaí but could not finish given the terrible liquid consistency.

I was excited to see an acai bowl spot at the airport so decided to give it a try. I ordered a P-bowl and was told that it would take about 15 minutes even though there was only one smoothie order ahead of me. Fortunately I wasn't in a rush but just something to keep in mind for a future that they're a little slow with preparing orders. The acai bowl was pretty runny so I wish it was a bit more thick. The toppings were okay but since the acai portion was so runny it was like eating a smoothie.

I had some time to kill before my flight so I decided to grab lunch. There is a main food court area in terminal one but this was further down and less busy so I decided to give it a try. I got the P-Bowl which was a blend of açaí, strawberries, peanut butter and hemp milk and topped with granola, strawberries, banana, maca, flax seeds (they were out of hemp seeds). It was expensive (~$15) but that is pretty much expected with airport food. It is HUGE though! It came in a bowl that was basically the size of my head. The size alone justifies the price. As for the smoothie itself, it was good but nothing too special. There is a good amount of base and a good amount of toppings and all the fruit tasted very fresh!

It was a steady flow of people ordering from the kiosk, counter, & pickups. Let's jump right into this review. What did I have - Medium size Polar Pineapple Smoothie (Pineapple, Strawberries, Pineapple Sherbet, Papaya Juice) - approximately $9 - Sweet/Fruity taste - 9/10 Pros 1. Variety food options - smoothies, acaí bowls, juices, and protein snacks and other drinks. 2. Staff is friendly, fast, and professional. 3. I find prices reasonable compared to portion sizes. Cons 1. No indoor seating. 2. Small location. When it is busy it is crowded inside and out. 3. Limited parking in front. The adjacent shopping center offers free parking. A short walk to Robeks. It's a con for me because in the mornings I am looking to pickup and go since I place an online order. Robeks is my preferred smoothie/acaí bowl spot. The consistency in taste/ingredients, price, and vibe keeps me coming back.

I decided to give it another chance after some time had passed, hoping things would be better. Unfortunately, this visit was even more disappointing. I ordered online to save time and stood at the pickup counter for about 12 minutes without a single employee acknowledging me. Multiple customers walked in after me and were immediately helped, while staff continued taking new orders and assisting others as I tried to make eye contact and say I was there to pick up. I honestly felt invisible. When I finally spoke up as someone was handing out another order, they went to the freezer and grabbed mine -- it had been ready the whole time. It wasn't just the wait, but the lack of basic acknowledgment that was frustrating. After giving this place another chance, I'm really disappointed that both order accuracy and customer service continue to be issues.

So when I found out they opened a location in the Marina, I was beyond excited! The portions are incredible, and they never skimp on toppings. Every bowl is practically overflowing! Everything always tastes so fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is also amazing: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely upbeat. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted warmly and feel instantly welcomed. If you've never tried Paradise Bowls before, you absolutely need to. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Arc, but they have a great variety of options and tons of ways to customize your bowl exactly how you like it. 10/10 every single time!

They had an imaculate takeaway drink fridge, modern decor, plenty of little extras for snacks, supplements, etc. Located between Chipotle and Warburg Parker in the Marina shopping center. They have smoothies, bowls and toasts. Some drinks and snackables too, like pretzels, bags of granola, etc. Service was a little slow, but they were VERY nice. O waited about 15 mins. The line was a bit long, so I opted to place my order online (which quotes a longer wait than in-person:/ and they prioritized me after I asked, even though they didn't have to:) I'm a sucker for a good customer experience. The bowl itself, very good! Personal preference for a more solid, ice cream texture and this was more soft, but still good. My favorite bowl is from SunLife Organics and this is just below that for me. I can't tell if the honey is good quality:/ ...(owner comment here?) but everything else is tops!

The cozy swinging chairs, the lush creeping greenery, and the peaceful vibe make you want to linger a little longer. But as beautiful as the space is, the real star is the food. Absolutely delectable. Every single thing on the menu looked incredible, and somehow they managed to deliver on every bite. It's rare that I can honestly say I'd order anything on a menu--but this is one of those places. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. You truly can't go wrong. I'll be back again and again, every chance I get.

At some places I've had açaí bowls that start melting almost immediately, but this one stayed thick and dense the entire time. I would definitely come back for it again. The blue matcha was okay. Next time I'd probably try the regular matcha instead. I'm taking off half a star only because the matcha came out much later and we were almost finished with our açaí bowl by the time it arrived, but it wasn't a big deal. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the music added to the vibe. Overall, I'd recommend this place and would happily come back.
