BIG MISTAKE, I've had nothing but problems with the oven and with Thor customer service. I've had four technicians come out to fix problems with the oven and fridge, none of which were fixed properly. Finally, Thor had River City come out. Ryan and Antwan called ahead to let me know they were on the way, were professional and courteous and fixed the oven door in less than 20 minutes. While they were here, I mentioned that the Thor icemaker had stopped working the first year, and while Thor sent me a replacement, they refused to send anyone to install it. I said I'd definitely call them when I remembered where I put it (LOL!), and about 15 minutes after they left, I found it! I called the office and they were able to send Ryan and Antwan back SAME DAY to install it for me at a reasonable price. Definitely keeping River City in my Rolodex! Hoping I don't have to call them anytime soon, but nice to know I found a reliable, honest repair service at a fair price.

The tech returned a week later with the part and tried to remove the dent. It was never removed 100%, and he said he would send a picture to the supervisor. In the meantime, without any call from the supervisor or further explanation, River City Appliance sent me a payment request for two days in a row. There was no explanation of when they would return to fix the dent; they just wanted the payment. I called and requested a copy of the work order to see what I was paying for. They never provided a copy. It's been two weeks since I paid the bill. I have not heard from anyone, and my dryer is still dented. I was never afforded a discount. The tech did his best, but I feel the management didn't care if the customer was happy. I will not be using them going forward.

Best Appliance did a good job of communicating once the freezer door was at their office. They called several times to make sure the appointment was scheduled. They even called to say they could squeeze me in a day earlier if it worked with my schedule. Their technician, Jay, arrived about 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment block. They took their shoes off before entering. They laid down fabric and things to protect the floor. They finished replacing the door in about 20 minutes. Super efficient!

He further explained there was a $60 fee, but if we proceeded with the work it would count towards the final bill. Carlos came out to see if he could repair our water issue. They have a huge inventory of washers and dryers. Plenty of refrigerators and stoves too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the pictures do not show how huge this place is, I mean wow. Take a look at their reception area, papers everywhere, a mess..dirty and dusty!! Appearance says a lot. If they don't even care what customers can see, that tells you a lot. Even though it looked like a mess in there. I bought a washer and dryer set for about $745, since I was trying to be frugal and it was cheap. The dryer was fine. The washer however shook like an earthquake and didn't spin correctly, leaving the clothes dripping wet! I immediately called Appliance warehouse and they sent a repairman out in a week, they stated it was the soonest someone can come out to check it out. Mind you, I just had a baby and is recovering from a c-section. Having two kids under 2, I need to do laundry and can't wait a week. I was so frustrated! Repairman finally came out and ran a few cycles and stated we have to run it only on "normal" cycle. Ok....I should be able to run it on whatever cycle suits my needs, that's why there are different options on the washer. Days after he came out, same thing the washer was loud and shook again (on normal setting). I called Appliance warehouse again and it's the same story, I had to wait for days for a repairman to come out. I asked if we can get a replacement, and the lady who is tan and has long nails stated "no" the repairman has to try and fix it at least "6" times...EXCUSE ME?? Finally, after one last attempt, repairman came out again, and they washer now does not shake anymore but I am only able to run it on "normal" cycle, not "heavy or light cycle". I found out that all of their washer and dryers are all torn apart and rebuilt with reburnished parts (junky parts). Long story short, go somewhere else! You're better spending an extra $100-200 for a brand new set at Costco. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE! Oh yeah, and they tell you to leave as "good review" to get a free month of warranty.
