This pharmacy location is convenient, but their service is not good. The pharmacist held up my medication for several days, which has caused a great inconvenience, several wasted trips, and numerous phone calls. There is a staff member who works in the pharmacy with dual colored hair (pink and blue), and it does not engender my confidence in their pharmacy. I am going there for my family's health, and this appearance suggests they don't take my family's care seriously. I have transferred my pharmacy refills to another location. read more

Yes it's a supermarket, but their selections are appreciated. The aisles feel larger. Aisles look fully stocked. Produce section looks organized and neat. Florist area has interesting balloons and flower items. I like the vast alcohol section and that there were a lot of sales. **Love the deli section! Neat, clean, beautifully displayed food items and breads. We ordered a custom sub sandwich and the friendly lady came up to us quickly with "what kind of a sandwich can I make you today?" Even if I didn't come for the sandwich, I certainly would order one just from that sweet greeting. Oh, that sandwich was heavy and sturdy. Price can't be beat! read more

Just wanted to report that this place is still a dump. Miserable staff and wilted/moldy produce. Bagger asked if I wanted paper or plastic, and after I answered, told the cashier (also miserable) that he was going to go get carts! Makes me laugh, but also, I'm kinda sad that the worst Raleys in Nevada is the closest one to where I live. read more

I just want to update my review and say that I still do majority of my grocery shopping here and it's still the best store in town! Never super busy when I go, produce is great and the employees are always nice! Only thing I don't like is the new app and digital members only coupons. It's very confusing and inconvenient as I don't always plan my trips ahead of time, so I hate having to pull my cart to the side and clip coupons on the app. But that's a corporate complaint and nothing to do with this individual store. read more

Caughlin Ranch...my favorite grocery store by miles. I'm that person who very much enjoys going grocery shopping. I love looking for new things to try, love the organization and ease of finding what I need, and I love the perks of signing up for the Something Extra card! The produce is fresh, the deli provides quick and tasty foods when in a crunch, the bakery has some awesome desserts, and the meat department delivers with some fantastic bacon. I'm happy with Raley's in general at any location I've shopped at so far, but this branch is excellent. It's large, clean, the aisles are wide, all contributing to safer shopping experience during this COVID-19 pandemic. I usually go during the day to avoid crowd. Masks are mandatory, plenty of hand sanitizers placed throughout, and workers are periodically cleaning the fridge door handles. Thank you thank you! Their produce section is wonderful (the only ask I have is to offer more ethnically diverse selection... I miss my Japanese eggplants and taros). The florist is very nice, and I often find a great deal on small houseplants. The wine and liquor section is excellently stocked. Also the cheese selections... I even found my favorite cheese from my beloved Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company! The staff is generally very nice. I'm a fan. read more

I have never set foot in this store, so can't comment on the store itself. But I have been using their e-cart service for almost a year now due to COVID-19 and have really enjoyed it. Ordering on the Raleys app is super easy and time slots are always plentiful. My personal shoppers always text or call me with any substitutions or missing items to discuss. They have two dedicated parking spots for ecart and parking has never been an issue. The ecart staff are always so friendly and come out quickly with my groceries and load them for me. Melissa who manages the ecart service there is fantastic!! My personal shoppers always pick the best produce, never had an issue with bad produce. And only one time has a personal shopper forgotten an item and that was resolved easily. Will continue to use their e-cart service for the foreseeable future! read more

DO NOT USE THEIR E-CART. Zero communications. Tell you your order is ready. I go to pick it up at the later time (3-4pm) and I wait 25 minutes, no call, no text, zero communications. They knew I was there, too. Happened three weeks in a row. I call the store and get switched to all different dept. then e-cart dept. No answer goes to voice mail? Finally, last time, I went in and ask ‍? They say sorry all three times. If you promote a service and can't do it, maybe you should get someone else to manage the store or dept. OR don't offer the service! I have shopped at that location and all the other Reno locations for decades, too. But not anymore. Raley's corporate doesn't really care, obviously. Just at Raley's on Caughlin Parkway went to use my app for digital coupons and it had to update again and I couldn't remember my password so I couldn't get in. Talked to the manager and she was the rudest person for being a manager I've ever met. When I said that she might lost a customer she acted like she could care less. So probably time to shop somewhere else. Maybe if you had better people working a your store and stopped constantly updating you app you would get more customers, and by the way your discriminate against people who don't have a cell phone or computer. Went to Raley's for the first time today and boy was I impressed! They have a hand washing station right when you walk in the first door and have sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer right by the carts. They also have signs remind you to distance yourselves! Way to go on trying to fight the spread! As for the actual shopping part, there wasn't much of what I needed (canned goods) but there isn't much anywhere right now either. I am glad I waited awhile to review this location taken over by Raley's from the ill fated Scolari's. The store is cleaner and tidier since the remodel which went well. Some prices have shot up and some shot down. The service is better since the switch even from the Scolari's veterans that remain. The most notable improvement in service comes from the deli side. 10 months ago I was pissed not being able to find anything easily during the holidays. Half due to the chaos of remodel and half due to a new floor plan. The higher standards of Raleys now shine through. My main store is Walmart but there are some things I am not going to lower myself to for a lower price. Baked chicken being high on the list. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. They have 2 windows to get people out quicker but no they rather laugh and play with themselves rather than move the line along that's now down the the aisle. Raley's Deli Dept bailed us out. My wife and I went to a concert at the Village Green Park in the Caughlin Ranch area. We needed a picnic lunch and the Deli at Raley's turned out to be the perfect place to obtain one. I bought 4 pieces of fried chicken and 2 small containers of salad. It was more than enough for the two of us and absolutely the right combination for a picnic. The chicken was fried to perfection and the spices were just right. They prepare the chicken in the store's kitchen. In addition the two salads: one a potato, and the other a veggie salad with raisins were absolutely the perfect accompaniment for the chicken. My grandparents live in Reno and before I moved up here I used to visit every summer and every summer we would come this grocery store back when it was still Scholari's. Well, now it's a Raley's and now I live in Reno full time. Even though Raley's is among the more expensive of grocery stores, I like to come to this location because it's NEVER crowded! I like the fact that I can be in and out in less then half an hour. I don't come here for my regular grocery shopping as often anymore, because like I said Raley's is more expensive. But, I do like their deli and every time I come in, it's been a good experience. I also use their pharmacy for my prescriptions and have never had any problems! Love the raleys crew here. Might be biased cause i live really close and i see the crew here almost every day. Got to give them props. Theyre all nice, friendly, always willing to help, lines are never horrendous. The place is never messy or unorganized.. idk. Not sure why the hate, cant blame them if system fails or if items are out of stock the day you come in. Ask them, when will it come in next and be there when it does come. Recently changed from Scolari's grocery store to Raley's. The store is located in Southwest Reno in Caughlin Ranch shopping center. They have begin doing some renovations and transitioning products out of the store and bringing in some new options. That is not always better however, since they REMOVED my FAVORITE ice cream, WINEY MUNKIES WINE ICE CREAM!!! I have lived in the Caughlin Ranch area for the past 16 years and in Reno for 40 plus years. I am very familiar with Raley's and was happy to see them taking over the old Scolaris. They have made nice cosmetic improvements to the store and added more products that I appreciate. Unfortunately, I was in the store the morning of 2-8-19 to pick up several items including sodas and various produce etc. Firstly, as I was shopping for produce there were two older gentlemen stocking the area. They were speaking to each other about work issues. One of the gentleman continued to use profanity while discussing a co-worker. It made me incredibly uncomfortable and I grabbed what I needed as quickly as possible. Then I went to check out. It was about 9:30 am. There were no checkers working. The only option available was self check. Mind you, I had a full cart of groceries. The self check out is AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. It constantly gives you errors that there is an unidentified item. It did it for almost every item I had. The lady who was working the self check was very nice but she had her hands full. There was another gentleman there who was irate. The self check is very small and I had nowhere to put my groceries. By the time I left, I was extremely frustrated. I hope that my review is read and that they try to remedy these issues ASAP as the store itself is very nice but I will be very wary of shopping here unless I only need a few things. read more

Very disappointed since the switch from Scolaris to Raleys. Customer service is poor, pharmacy customer service poor and many items not available. Wine is WAY overpriced. You have to buy 6 bottles just to get a normal price anywhere else. Will only come here for emergencies. read more
